TRE Richland Hills Station's Last Days of Service

  • These videos were taken on 3 different days, the second 2 being the last days that the station would be open before permanently closing down. This station is now closed at the time of upload, and was replaced by the Trinity Lakes Station about a mile east of where Richland Hills station was, just east of i820.
    Richland Hills station was opened with a parade and an opening ceremony on September 16, 2000, along with both Bell and CentrePort stations being opened that same day. The station had to be closed down due to the city of Richland Hills not paying their part for the station, and the area the new station is located is considered Fort Worth/Hurst. The station construction started around late 2022, and the opening day was 2 days after Richland Hills station's last day, being February 19.

      Thanks! Im using the Sony I used to use for pictures, with an 18-135mm lens. I’ve been shooting with it since November of 2022 actually

      As far as I know the station is still there up to today, I don’t know If they’re going to demolish it.

      @@North_Texas_Railfan It's still shows it on google maps. The new station is still just a hole in the ground but I'm not sure if that picture is updated. Just from the last Amtrak shot it looks like you might be standing where the platform was.
