@@michaelchristopher4662 I love the Xbox exclusive games like Forza Horizon and I actually use Game Pass on my Xbox and computer, but I have missed out on Spider-Man and God Of War, among others. I bought the God of War bundle. I also really used to love Ratchet and Clank on my PS2. I am excited to grow my library.
PS5 is a waste of money. It's just PS4 with slightly better graphics and literally NO games. Name 1 game you can only play on PS5. You can't because it has ZERO exclusive games. It is such a waste of space too. Its the biggest and ugliest thing in my house besides my wife.

Got a PS5 about a month ago. I had WAY more fun with Astros Playroom than I expected. I moved on to God of War and it's every bit as good as I'd hoped.
Astros playroom is a easy Platinum trophy too🏆

I bought a ps5 on a whim when I saw one available on Amazon. My original ps4 was getting up to a decade old and was absolutely dying trying to run some of the newer games. I wasn't expecting to be this impressed. Smooth as butter.

I recently got a PS5 and the very first thing I did was the Data transfer from my now old PS4. The DuelSense controller is so good. The game graphics are so much better.
the controller surprised me, when firing a gun in certain games it feels like I'm firing a real firearm
(I'm referring to the trigger pull by the way)
for data tranfering from ps4 to ps5, can be done with a single tv or monitor. just swap hdmi to other console when required its very easy actually for those who dont own two tvs

I just bought a PS5. I bought the expansion memory, which was so easy to install. I installed the memory before I even plugged in the PS5. I just watched a video, and it's installed!

9:43 You don’t need a second tv, usually most tvs have more than 1 HDMI and you can plug your ps4 into the other HDMI, at that point you can use your tv remote to switch between HDMI’s

Great video! I haven’t owned a gaming console in over 20 years. It was a Nintendo GameCube. Buying a PS5 feels overwhelming. This helped! Glad to know I don’t need any accessories right away to play or any subscriptions! Probably gonna start off with Jedi Survivor as my first game and see how it goes!

just a note, you dont need two tvs to transfer data from ps4 to ps5, but you will need two hdmi ports on one tv in order to power on both consoles and begin the transfer

Thanks for sharing new user tips. Waiting for my ps5 in 2 days! Bought a 2tb internal ssd for ps5 storage and a 1tb external ssd for storing my ps4 library. SSDs are pretty cheap these days relative to what you get.

I’m just starting out with the new PS five that I am receiving for Christmas and I have purchased the Logitech g923 steering wheel. I am just wondering do I connect that when I hook it up or do I wait to set everything up before I hook up the wheel and when I hook up the wheel does the controller still work?

Great video and I'm only halfway through! For the most part, people I know dont like how big the PS5 is and its stance. I think it's badass. When the original Xbox was released it wasn't visually pleasing to most but the original Xbox, I felt, put PS2 to shame. Except for guitar hero being only on the PS2 when it came out way back when.
Also, the PS5 has a 4K blu-ray player built in. Always get the disc version

I bought a PS5 very recently, and it's been a blast. I'm trying to buy the full camo set, I bought the Pulse headset of that, and also the Media Remote since I spend a lot of time using TH-cam and Netflix.
When I got the PS5 I upgraded my Essential PS Plus subscription to Extra, which is £10.99 a month here, and I thought that was a pretty good deal given what they've got. But Premium was £13.50 a month, and for only a few more pounds a month I switched up to Premium, and it's been great so far, I'm really loving it

After buying a PS5, I'm shocked I already spent nearly $2000 for games, ssd and accessories combined. Moving on, I'll be picky with buying games for this generation and just hope the PS+ offering gets better in the future

I’m waiting for mine in the mail now and I’m so excited… I have a old gaming laptop and I can’t run anything more than 30 fps can’t run Fortnite, so my gaming change is going to be night and day. This video is great thank you very much!
There's actually a much easier way to transfer data from a PS4 without connecting to a network or cloud saves, provided of course you have games already on there. External hard drive. Just connect the hard drive and you're ready to go. No need to format it. And yes before you ask, it's read AND write
You can just take the internal hard drive out of your ps4 directly and connect it via a sata to USB adapter too
This system i am using currently is actually my third. First one i purchased was the digital version. I didnt know there was 2 versions when i bought it. I have limited to no internet service and thats mostly only mobile hotspot connection so the digital was useless to me. Traded it to a buddy for 3 RC cars. Second was for me about a month ago and the third was for my brother who has had his for a week now. I installed a 1TB internal SSD right off the bat as i didnt want to deal with the deleting of games like i did with my PS4. I may even get the 4TB SSD but as of right now there isnt many games that interest me so 1 TB should suffice. The games i bought are Hitman 3, Subnautica: Below Zero, Horizon: Forbidden West, Snowrunner, Farming Simulator 22 and i have on the way MX vs ATV Legends. I have taken a liking to slower paced games over the years and many of the games i have now i can leave running while i go make food or watch a youtube video. My days of sitting in front of the TV focused only on the TV for an hour at a time are over. I can only focus on a game for a max of a half hour nowadays. No shooters, no race games like GT7, and no fast pace games for me.
so far i ave not got a ps5 yet but planning on getting it but to the question on a internal SSD. I was wondering if there is a good ssd around like $50-$60 but I won't know if some will work for a ps5 or at all

If i pay for a digital download of a game on PS5 and subscribe to their premuim plus plan and decide ro cancel it will any games I've purchased digitally disappear or not enable me to play them online?

I'm still on PS4 but have to say that I've been quite happy with the PS Plus Premium subscription. I got mine during the Black Friday sales of 25% for a year and it works out to about 45% off of the price of Game Pass Ultimate if you calculated what that would cost for a year. I agree overall that it is not quite as good as Game Pass Ultimate but there are still a slew of games on PS Plus Premium that interest me. Cloud streaming has worked well for me also. Your mileage may vary of course! I'll wait for a PS5 Slim to hopefully get released before I buy a new console.
I have a PS5 and i like it but it just feels overrated. I still have my Pro and my PC that i built but the PS5 just lacks. I dont know what it is, it doesnt feel like some massive step up from the Ps4 to me.

@@helloconga Well that's highly subjective because everyone has different tastes but personally I am biased in favor of games from Ubisoft (especially The Division franchise) but also I like the Borderlands series, Left 4 Dead, and Stern Pinball Arcade to name a few.

I don't have two TVs, but I do have multiple HDMI ports (which I assume most TVs do). Wouldn't just hooking them both up to the same TV and just flip between the channels work when transferring?

If I’ve done the data transfer, but then continue to play on the PS4. For a game as NHL23 is the HUT portion saving to EA Server or my PS4 thus losing data point?
So I'm not sure about EA servers, but you can always transfer local saves on your PS4 by uploading them to the cloud and then downloading them to the PS5. You don't need to do the whole transfer process each time.
I an right now in china…so if i get a ps5 digital here…and when i take it ti my home country or anywhere else…is everything all right…like is there any problem with change in region or something????
I live in the bush in Australia, limited internet data per month.
So can I load my ps5 games(from the dvd disk) without using the internet? I have the disk version and I want to buy Disk games. to load Gran Truismo 7 says its going to take about 12 hrs to install? copy and it seems to eating up my data.

Most games can be played fully offline. Google specific titles to see before making a purchase. GT7 is unfortunately a game that requires internet access to play.

Welcome to the hobby! The specific controls for each game are going to be different. My recommendation is to simply google the name of the game you're playing and controls. Though most games have a tutorial walking you through the basics. For navigating menus, hit x to select and o to go back. That's pretty universal. And within the menus, lots of games have controller layouts showing you which buttons are which.

I just bought a ps5 disc edition but lm trying to upgrade the ssd to one 1tb..can you please tell me how many games a 1tb will hold?? Is 1tb enough?? Or l need 2tb or perhaps 4tb...
That will depend entirely on the actual data size of each video game you are trying to install considering each solid state drive is their actual indicated storage size
Asscreed valhalla for example is about 140.86gb while cod is around the 120gb size so if you are installing only the major AAA titles around 10 or so will fit in 1tb ssd, I say 25 to 30 depending on size on the 2tb, 50 or more on the 4tb option
If possible I go with a 4tb since it will give you more storage for years to come, while 1tb or even 2tb may seem like good options you are basically wasting your money if you are gonna build up your PlayStation 5 library

got a ps5 yesterday im older and my son is 29 so we went through the games together. He loves God of war Ragnarok hes been playing for 4 hours and hes still playing. He downloaded monopoly we played together and actually had fun. hes downloading spider man for me i like the easier games and he plays the harder one. gonna get the expansion for the storage.
