- I am in LOVE with Hate You!!!!!!! There are great songs but Hate You was so good...it just hit me different. Very very few songs that makes me wanna immediately listen over and over again but this is one of them. I am loving this Album. WOW

From all the members except RM of course JK has always had the best English pronunciation and I'm always amazed by it
but to be specific he has the best pronuciation even better than joon when it comes to singing in english .
@@Kookiepookie2025it's not about pronounciation when it comes to singing, be real. Jungkook is a vocalist and Namjoon isn't. You put oranges with apples in the same basket when you compare this.
@@writerspointofviewvery true. Singing English and speaking/rapping is very different and can’t really be compared.
@@amberpearce710 Actually, Namjoon has really nice voice to sing but his condition about singing full songs isn't enough and that is perfectly normal for a rapper. Even he himself admit it that his throat feels sore after singing a while and he still does sing. Using different accents while singing or rapping again, normal. I don't really like the way some armys on social medias can easily throw him under the bus. Like why hell someone compare Namjoon and Jungook in singing aspects. So would it be okay if another person says that Jungkook can't rap as well as Namjoon does/can't rap in English as well as Namjoon does.
Like my bias is Jungook but i don't know. This makes me angry.
@@writerspointofview yeah I do agree. Also I didn’t say RM didn’t have a good voice, yes he doesn’t have the strongest or trainee voice, but he does have a great voice…As far as online goes I haven’t seen those type of comments but that is annoying and would make me kind of angry too…

The whole album is no skip for me, all the songs are excellent!!! So very proud of JK. Hope you are able to watch the newest Suchwita (came out today), he went back to promote Golden! "Hate You" is currently my obsession 🤣 with "Shot Glass of Tears" a close second! 💜💜💜
Shot glass of tears is my current favourite but each time I listen to this album all the other songs just keep getting better💜

다른 멤버형이 코러스를 만들어 달라는 부탁에도 30분만에 만들어왔다는 에피소드도 있었죠
방탄의 몇백개의 노래중에 정국의 코러스 백보컬이 없는 노래는 멤버들 솔로곡 제외 거의 없을걸요. 누가 더블링 부탁을 해도 바로 즉석으로 해주더라구요 그래서 별명이 황금막내인가봐요 뭐든지 잘한다고^^
This album lives up to its name. All the songs are really good."Hate you" is my favorite song and I think it's Jk's too, if I’m not mistaken.
I agree. I think he's always worked hard to have a solid English pronounciation whenever past songs called for it, but him singing on his own with only English in so many songs have made it stand out more that he's gotten really good at it. It's why I found it to be really annoying when antis have been coming online to call him out for "trying to speak English when he's not fluent" and claiming they don't understand a thing he's saying or claiming he shouldn't sing in English until he gets fluent. He's doing a spectacular job at it.
As someone who has started trying to learn Korean, it's even more impressive to me to see how far he's come. The sounds are often so different and feels opposite to the natural way my mouth wants to form words so it's hard to even tell if you're pronouncing a word right when you're not fluent in a langugae. I can't imagine singing a whole song in a language that I don't speak comfortably. Singing in your own language is already a task as it is. I give him all of his flowers for doing so well on each song. His vocals were stunning in this album and it's such a great collection of music he has added to his discography.
jungkook is so impressive that i cannot put it into words
lol for the different "closer" pronunciation, it has to do with how when singing, good singers will change the way of singing a word based on how you are singing it. When singing "closer" with more power, it sounds a bit strange to put emphasis on the "s" sound, so instead he switches it to a "z". Even english speakers do this but I think we just notice it more with JK because it's not his first language :)

no matter the color of our skin, the shape of our eyes and the texture of our hair, JK in GOLDEN just proved that Asians have the same vein and dna - that we are all suckers of ballads and emo tugging songs and that we are hopelessly romantics hahah
"Hate You" is also one of my favourites. It's because of how JK's sang the song with so much emotion. You can feel the pain of someone whose not able to accept the break up of the one you love.😢 JK's voice of an angel.
Hate You, is my favorite song also because everyone have been through this in their lives.

Hate You is one of my favorites as well! His voice just brings all the emotion and I really love the part with no words where he harmonizes on several layers with himself. Beautiful! That said, I also really enjoyed all the others and 2nd fav is Standing Next to You....I think...had to choose really. lol Thank you for the reaction. Actually, I put the whole album on my playlist, except the 2 songs already released (because they are already on it).

The album is a masterpiece....all the songs are awesome. My favorite are Hate you and Standing by you.
Golden is an amazing album and I am so proud for Jungkook. I will be honest the songs without music videos on this album are more my speed but I do think Standing Next to You would be an even more amazing song live with live instruments (however it still is a none skip album)… Jungkook does have amazing pronunciation when he sings and my brothers (who isn’t ARMY, and honestly doesn’t love listening to songs not in English, due to bad experience with high school choir lol) said that he has a very good voice and he pronunciation is really good. He also said it is crazy how when singing English, the pronunciation for other people whose first language isn’t English usually is amazing compared when like speaking. It is interesting to think about…
My top three favorites are:
1. Hate You
2. Shot Glass of Tears
3. Yes or No and Too Sad to Dance (however #3 changes all the time lol)
Edit; Also it amazes how many songs he recorded in just like 3 months. I hope Jungkook doesn’t feel bad for taking a break for how long he did and doesn’t feel obligated to do so much music. Don’t get me wrong I love the music but if he wants to take a break I want that for him. I want him to be happy.
Edit: dj snake is a DJ/producer from what I have heard and a really famous one, at that.
In the Suchwita and in the Golden interview, Jk mentioned that originally he only plan to have a mini album but then so manu songs came and he love 10 of them that’s why it becomes full long album. And he recorded them 4-5 songs in a week (while V mentioned he recorded one song in three days). He called main vocalist for a reason.
And you should listen to the live at Iheart Radio, it sounds even better…
@@effyrasnidahutasuhut1263 I watched Suwitcha and I know it was going to be a mini album but doesn’t mean he didn’t feel obligated to do more because of ARMY. I only say this based on what he said in Suwitcha about being sorry for being on break for so long and everything. I am extremely proud of jungkook but I also don’t want him to feel like we can’t wait for him or anything like that.

Hate You has the melancholic style and first time for JK doing the low notes.
JK is sooo good as solo artiste. He has that voice quality that can easily do transition in higher or lower keys

Sir ...Jungkook only have 3 months to prepared this album ...started until finished .... so if he made some small mistakes ...please understand... he recorded 3 songs 1 day ....
He recorded 4 songs in a week. Not 3 in a day.

It could be just a stylistic choice because throughout the song he pronounces it correctly
