I wasn't really into BTS, but since they became so famous, I became curious about their music. Let's just say that they did live up to our expectations!

As an older army, i don't get why some people afraid to say they don't like bts music. It's your preference, n most army will understand that. We're only will criticize u if u say things that aren't true, degrading or insult our boys. So as long as u respect them, u'll be just fine..^.^

i know.. im an army and even there are some songs that dont fit my taste
its impossible to love every song by bts because of their music genre diversity, so its completely normal to have some songs that you arent a fan of

as an army, we really don't mind about who's like bts and who's not. we just really mind if someone will respect them or not. is good to know that you guys like the songs. when you listen to bts songs make sure you read the lyrics too. bts' lyric is just one of why bts is this big. you can feel the sincerity :)

They understand Korean so they don’t need to read the lyrics because they understand what is being sung.
Loved the energy! And don't worry about their fandom, sane ARMYs won't criticize you just because you're not interested in them, everyone has different tastes. It's better to be honest then to pretend to like them. Also don't feel burdened by all the requests, usually when someone new reacts to BTS, Kpop fans get excited start recommending like 20 different groups. React to what YOU want

They write and produce their songs with the help of in-house producers. Rappers always write lyrics for their verses. RM is credited with writing 162 songs, Suga with 118, J-Hope with 106. Sometimes they collab with foreign musicians.
J-Hope participated in producing "Jamais vu", but he is not credited. Jimin produced "Friends".
Suga is the main producer and writer of "Shadow". Suga also is one of the producers of "Respect". Actually Suga is pretty famous producer, he won awards for his work as a producer, including "best producer of the year". He has two self-produced mixtapes, which broke several records worldwide. He produces for BTS and for other artists. Some songs that he produced for others: IU - Eight, Suran - Wine, Heize - We don't talk together, Halsey - Suga's Interlude, Epik High - Eternal Sunshine.

@@jacob0404 I recommend watching some intro videos to get an idea of who they are as Artists and what they represent through their message & music. Their mission statement has always been the same since their debut in 2013. They've achieved so many milestones during their career and continue to grow and evolve as Artists and individually. ARMYs can be very protective of the guys, but know that there are many reasons why they are forever loved and supported around the globe. I recommend *This is BTS: Introduction 2020* by XCELESTE, which is the newest intro video I know. *Crash Course to BTS 2020* is another good one too and several others. I've been ARMY since 2014 and I'm STILL learning something new & I still have so much to catch up on.

RM too produced Black Swan and wrote it's lyrics and most of the album lyrics not only his part
dionysus is basically getting drunk in their own art and fame. that obsession to keep creating art that they get drunk in it. all of their songs hold some clever meaning. it's amusing.
bts are hugely involved in their music and especially in nov 20, their new album BE would be coming which would be self directed too.

Before it got released, I really thought Sia would bring something nice to the table. Unfortunately, not all collaboration with a Western artist would blend well. Unfortunately I didn't like that version. I prefer the original.

Dionysus is known as the God of wine. It’s a play on words 예술 (art) 예-술(alcohol) = getting drunk on art... BTS , specially RM, likes to play on words.
They are really good at writing lyrics. I think you know the song spring day. RM wrote it. I think they can create entire albums on their own, but they are too busy. They don't have time to do that. They will have an album released later this month. They worked hard to produce and write it after they got some rest because Covid-19 Vocal Line writes sometimes, but Rapper Line writes every song

Bts lyrics always have deep meaning from their debut era and have some messages than other idol songs. They always sing in Korean but their message have reached to foreigner people like me but their own country people don't appreciate their music which is heartbreaking. I hope their own country people appreciate them more. They are my hearts and I love them very much.
I love bts for their personality, sincerity, lyrics, vocal, dedication towards music, army (by the they have many song dedicated to army),inspiring me through their deep message behind their beautiful song, always thankful and grateful for always telling people to love yourself and speak yourself, always telling people to move forward no matter what struggle u get in your life through their song, always telling people to follow your own dreams no matter what people say, always be happy even if u don't have dreams and many more. There are thousand of reasons why I love bts.
The concept of this album is based on the personality theories created by the psychologist Carl Jung that’s why the name is “map of the soul” same name as the book 💜
Shadow, Persona, EGO are all parts of this concept and show the conflicts inside each individual.
I strongly recommend you guys watch the video “This is BTS | Introduction to BTS [Part 1]” to understand why they are so popular worldwide, it’s not just the music or their looks, it’s also who they are as people and how their lyrics are able to communicate with anyone despite nationality, gender and race 💜

I’m from the Philippines, in my 30’s, a mom and an avid fan of BTS! Dionysus hits different if you see them perform it. Their songs are actually deep and that’s why I love them.
두시간 넘도록 앉아서 신나게 들어주신 두분 덕분에 함께 즐길수 있었어요. 감사합니다~ 멤버들이 음악에 많이 참여합니다. 매번 가사와 멜로디를 회사에 보내고 누구것이 뽑혀서 곡에 들어가는지가 결정되는거지요. 특히 RM은 가사에 진심입니다. 예전 곡들 들어봐도 진짜 철학적이고 시적이고 그냥 천재예요.
일곱명 모두 음악과 무대, 팬들에게 진심이고 항상 처음처럼 연습하고 끊임없이 성장을 위해 노력합니다. 디오니소스는 라이브무대 퍼포먼스 보시면 최애곡이 바뀔수도 있어요. ㅎ
필터는 지난 온라인 라이브콘서트때 처음 무대가 공개되었는데 노래도 노래지만 춤이 그냥 미쳤어요.
그 무대를 위해 엄청나게 연습했을텐데 무대를 많이 못해서 너무 아쉬워요. 방탄은 진짜 1집부터 타이틀부터 수록곡까지 명반 아닌게 없습니다. 특히 가사는 꼭 필수로 봐야해요. 댄서분이 계시니 초창기때부터 댄스 연습 영상이나 라이브무대, 뮤비도 함께 리액션 해보셔도 재밌으실거 같은데요.

I personally like honest reactions rather than sugarcoated ones. Please, if you don’t like a song just say it. There’s nothing wrong with having an opinion. It’s kinda annoying to see people be careful about what they say about bts because they fear army will come for them. Those armys that can’t take honest opinions make our fandom seem really bad.

Yes we can take opinions of people not having the same taste but we can't condone people saying their songs are bad just because it didn't fit their taste or that they suck (because that would mean their taste sucks since they would say bullshit towards their discography, whilst the rest of the world likes their music)

Black Swan is an artistic masterpiece that needs more appreciation!! The track speaks so loudly of what BTS stand for as musicians and artists and their love towards what they do. And yess, ON is such an addicting song that again, is a declaration and anthem of BTS's journey and how they will continue to move forward proudly with their music together.

I'm not sure how much of the lyrics you paid attention to but whenever you listen to a BTS album it's crucial that you always read the lyrics as they are a big part of the album. Not to say that Korean people have to care about BTS or anything but it's incredibly frustrating at times when some don't understand why BTS is so popular. there are so many International fans that would love to be able to immediately understand their lyrics and you as a Korean have that advantage over us so please take the time to thoroughly look at the lyrics. I'd also like to thank you for taking the time to actually seek out the reasoning behind why they're so loved.
They are reading the lyrics while reacting & in some parts they are giving their input about the lyrics. It’s their first time reacting to the song plus they are reacting to the full album so it’s impossible to grasp everything at once.
@@rein_army they don't necessarily have to do it in a reaction video but if they intend to listen to more BTS' music then I'd like for them to invest some time into checking out the lyrical aspect of it. It's rare to find any reaction videos of people listening to a full BTS album especially Korean people. I'm not generalizing Korean people but at the same time I don't think that you can deny that they don't pay much attention to their lyrics in the first place.

Do u perhaps speak korean? ‘Coz I do & they were definitely paying attention to the lyrics the whole time. Them dancing or doing some random actions were actually the lyrics they are doing the lyrics and they are even mouthing the lyrics. Non korean speakers obviously won’t know that. They are even praising the lyrics, I don’t know if it was translated in english. But yeah they don’t seem that much interested. And there are many koreans who react to BTS but they don’t have english subs or the tittle are in hangul(korean) so international fans don’t know about it.
@@rein_army I didn't say that they weren't paying attention to the lyrics I just wasn't sure how much of them they were paying attention to. But it seems that Koreans in general don't really have an interest in Kpop music. if you noticed they said that Kpop albums normally just have filler songs so they seemed to be surprised that BTS' album wasn't like that.
@@ARMYFOREVER-ez5wc kpop has a negative stigma in korea. Only teens & young people are into kpop. Kpop are not even considered as singers. The singers are those duo/soloist/people who don’t do intense choreography in their songs like the OST singers or like Davichi, IU, Huh Gak, Ailee, etc.
most kpop groups only sing and dance with beautiful visuals (they don’t compose/produce). That’s why BTS is special ‘coz they are real talented musicians who really loves music & does a lot of effort to make not just amazing songs but amazing albums as well. That’s why BTS don’t only have young fans but also older fans in Korea. Don’t worry ‘coz many koreans love and respect BTS that’s why there are lots of K-ARMYs now .. the thing is that, most reactors barely know BTS that’s why there’s a “stigma” about them while those who really loves them or ARMYs rarely do reactions. But yeah the general public don’t have any clue as to why BTS is so successful right now.

It's super SUPER deep and meaningful. Fans often describe the mixtape as a "warm hug" He really consoled and gave strength to millions of people through that entire mixtape. 방탄 앨범은 처음부터 끝까지 통으로 들어야 이 앨범의 주제나 메세지를 더 잘 알 수도 있고 좋답니다ㅡ본인들도 앨범 전체를 듣길 추천하고요
데뷔때부터 지금까지의 앨범들이 소년들이 성장하는 과정,청년이 된 지금의 생각들,고민들 같은것을 얘기하는 유기성을 가지고 이어져왔고 연작 시리즈로 앨범을 발매하기때문이기도 하죠
방탄소년단이란 이름의 책,드라마,영화 시리즈를 쭉 보는 느낌이기도 합니다~😊
이번에 한 맵옵솔 앨범은 융의 영혼의 지도란 이론,책을 모티브로 만든 이름 그대로의 앨범인데 말그대로 자신을 찾아가는거죠
persona, shadow, ego 같은 여러 내면이 있고 그걸 합치면 self 자아가 되는 이론인데요..
그래서 인트로ㅡ페르소나, 인터루드ㅡ섀도우,아웃트로ㅡ이고
로 만들어진것이고 가사도 본인들이 거기에 맞춰 잘 썼죠.
특히나 그것들이 현재 자신들의 상황에 더더욱 혼란,두려움,고민등등을 느끼던 부분이기도 했으니까..
전작인 럽유셆 시리즈도 그렇고 그전작,전전작 등 다 그때그때의 상황,생각,고민등이 들어가서 모든 사람들이 누구나 겪고 생각하던것들이라 더 공감을 할 수 있게 된답니다~
방탄 앨범은 문학,예술,철학등에서 모티브를 많이 얻어 만들어서 더 깊이도 있다고 봐요ㅡ
다음 앨범도,그 전의 앨범들도 이렇게 재밌게 즐기시길 바랍니다

방탄은 송캠프라고 해서 다들 노래작업에 참여하고 제일 괜찮은 부분들을 모아서 노래를 만드는걸로 알고있어요ㅋㅋㅋ 보통 슈가,제이홉,알엠이 제일 많이 곡작업을 하는 편이에요 제로어클락 같은 경우는 대부분 알엠이 작사했다고 하더라구요... 솔직한 리액션 재밌었어용!!
앨범은 대부분 사놓고 잘 간직하느라 노래는 주로 음원으로 듣는 편인데 오늘 우연히 두분 덕분에 7앨범 전체 다시 들어보니 너무 좋고 진짜 방탄 앨범은 거의 다 알차고 안좋은 곡이 없는것 같아요. 감사합니다. 저는 리액션 영상도 자주 보는 편이라 두분 리액션이 솔직하고 과장된 부분이 없는것 같아서 오늘부터 구독하고 같이 즐기고 싶어지네요.(과장된 리액션은 바로 표가 나기 때문에 그런 영상들은 모르고 구독 했다가도 보다보면 실망하게 되어 취소하게 되더라고요) 저는 이 앨범에서 두분 말씀대로 취향이 아닌 곡은 있지만, 진짜 버릴곡이 없는것 같아요. 개인적으로 제일 좋아하는 곡을 굳이 꼽자면, 한곡만 꼽자니 섭섭해서 ㅎㅎ 개인적으로 감성적인 노래를 좋아하는 저는 방탄의 힘들었던 순간들이 잘 표현 되어있는 "Zero O'clock" 과 "We are Bulletproof the eternal" 을 꼽고 싶네요. 그리고 이번 온라인 콘에서 지민의 필터 춤을 보고나서 "Filter" 도 좋아하게 되었고(지민군의 목소리는 음색이 특이해서 좋아합니다), 스포티 파이에서 방탄 음악을 주로 듣고 있는데 석진군의 "Moon"도 자주 듣습니다 (석진군의 특유의 감성이 잘 녹아있는 곡중의 하나인것 같아요) 그리고 방탄 멤버들의 자작곡 들도 정말 다 좋으니 시간 되실때 한번 들어보시길 추천 드립니다)영상 감사하고 건강한 하루가 되시길 바랍니다!!^^

Loved your reaction! It's really nice to see people's first reactions to bts full albums cuz I think that's how their music is meant to be appreciated. Btw about writing/producing credits, even if the members aren't credited in writing the song directly, most songs are about their own personal stories. For those whose wondering, i love bts.. their music, their personality and their passion towards their music and more.. they are the first musician that most songs resonates me. they talk about mental health, youth, self love, they talk about love song but in a very deep way and they also talk about their stories. they are an inspiration in my part for so many reason. Personally, one of the best song that i love in mot7 is Black SWAN and ON. ON lyrics is very strong, while black swan talk about bts is Scared of losing their love for music. most song is amazing.

only Suga & Jimin participated in producing for some songs in this album while all the members participated in writing the song. But BTS do produce & compose more / they have more control on their solo works (works outside BTS) like each rapline’s mixtape album .. I mean, even Suga produces for other artists

Fun fact - RM wrote about 80 to 90 percent of the Map of the Soul: Persona Album. And I know that he wrote a lot of the Map of the Soul: 7 album. There is only one song that BTS members don't write on out of 20 songs, and Jimin and SUGA have producing credits on the MOTS: 7 album. RM usually has a hand in writing a large amount of the lyrics.
You know that Map of the Soul: 7 was a huge commercial success, reaching number one in over 20 countries and becoming the world's best-selling album of 2020. BTS became the first Asian group to top the charts in all of the top-five music markets in the world.
