Hi Zara Another great tutorial If you do a background should you do a colour that’s similar to the dog or do a contrast colour sometimes I struggle what colour to use thankyou
Great question, I design multiple layouts and send them to the client. They then pick their favourite. But I do like to go with a paper colour that brings out the fur colour and values. The dark grey works with so many subjects it is my go to colour.
what is the tool you used at the 2:20 mark? Is it an eraser? The more I see it, the more I think it's a pencil of some sort?
That was just a soft pastel stick holder which had a pastel stick inside =)
what sharpener do you like to use with your pastel pencils?
I don't use sharpeners for a couple of reasons. So I use a Stanley knife to sharpen my pencils.
