As simple as it sounds, he knew if ging didn’t visit gon, he knew that he’d be healed, the same reason ging said he didn’t. And if gon didn’t make it , that was a risk paristom would take because it would come down to Kristin and leorio anyway, and if gon passed, leorio would drop out anyway. It’s a brilliant move but really all it took was being observant.

When you consider how gyro was able to retain all his old memories qnd break free from the control of ant queen and not follow her orders because of how strong his own will was and how much hatred he had, what if his animal form is based on an animal known for having self awareness or having good memory in real life, such as elephants who are known for their tendency to exact revenge and rememberbeing mistreated but also having good memory and being self aware and being able to recognise themselves in a mirror, or crows & ravens who are known for having good memory and being able to use makeshift tools to make eating food easier and also being able to remember when humans mistreat them and I think ravens are also capable of mimicking human speech too, and another possibility could also be dolphins or chimps who are also self aware.

My thoughts exactly. Viz tends to be more reliable in my experience, while fans try to force stuff that doesn't really belong, or they avoid direct translations for some reason.

But the during the election arc in viz it’s said “Botobai Gigante, Advisor in the zodiacs and close to the previous chairman” but in other translations it’s “Botobai Gigante, the most senior of the zodiac twelve. In name and ability the one closest to being chairman.” So basically that second version is where the statement about his strength comes from.
hey man, I saw a lot videos of theory about HxH from japanese channels, and one of the theories that has been going on right there is the theory of "team up battle" that Chrollo has against Hisoka. basically, Chrollo has not just take Shalnark and Koltopi abilities to fight but, Machi also help him with her Nen stitches. in the middle of the battle Hisoka makes a comment about how Chrollo was able to retreat the antennas of Shalnark, "it was with a fishing poll or something?". the theory is that Machi was hiding into the crowd helping Chrollo by retreating the antennas for him with her Nen. that's why in the end of the fight, when Machi is talking to Hisoka after his coming back, there's a moment that she looks away and say "better chose your next opponents better next time " and there's a panel of Hisoka just looking at her like "bitch you will play dumb, you think that I not figured it out ". that's why Hisoka also refuses to have Machi treat him with the injury and damage even though he'd had paid her in advance. it's like Hisoka was thinking "bitch, you helped him and now you want to play dumb treating me". that's why Hisoka refuses, "treaty himself" and when Machi was leaving, Hisoka says that "now, he will not let his opponents chose how or when the fight will happen". and Machi continues to play dumb says "whatever " and Hisoka goes behind her and says " I'm talking about the spiders " and in this moment that Machi immediately realizes that Hisoka get it that they help Chrollo. that's why Hisoka decided to go after the entire Troupe. it was to be a fight between Hisoka and Chrollo, but the Troupe help Chrollo in the fight, so it turns into a fight between Hisoka against the Troupe. in the volume 34 Togashi says that Hisoka want to kill Machi right there at that moment ( now makes sense why, is because she helped Chrollo). Chrollo says that it will be a fight to the death, and Chrollo and Hisoka, are alive (Hisoka did died but you know, he come back) so, for Hisoka, their fight is not over yet, plus Chrollo involved the Troupe in their battle, so now is a battle between Hisoka vs. the Troupe. and in the end, characters that was involved in this battle did died (Shalnark and Koltopi). get it? since York New Arc we know that Hisoka wants to fight Chrollo, but he says to Kurapika the reason why he did not fight him yet is because he always was with other members by his side, and he wants to fight Chrollo alone. that's why in the end of the fight he mad, Chrollo screwd a battle that was supposed to be just between they two, putting members of the Troupe helping him, so now he really decided to not just fight "Chrollo alone" like always wanted, now the Troupe get what they wanted, now is a fight of Hisoka against the Troupe. Make a video about this theory.

I think he was in vengeance. The shiela theory. He was going to avenge sarasa. He transformed himself into a pierce and heartless man that was total opposite of the kind hearted and fragile shiela yhat i think one of his abilities maybe "Total opposite" and made his way to the hunter association to make contact with the underground society to inverstigate shiela's case. There was this theory that tsseriednich was the one behind sarasa's death and the possibility was high that pariston already knows these and he was targeting the 4th prince head that's why he works with beyond to get close to kakin. I also believed that pariston was the one written on chrollo's fortune the one who will be his ally in the east. East part of the dark continent written on the book of the journey to the new world.
As far as it being possible/realistic I’m very hesitant however the theory is incredibly interesting and I think it would be super super interesting and entertaining if it were true.

Does anyone think it's possible that the story and themes of hunter x hunter may be inspired by pinocchio? What if gon wanting to become a hunter and his transformation are inspired by pinocchio wanting to and becoming a real boy which in pinocchios case is meant to symbolise his maturation) in the case of gon when he transforms, his realisation that life isn't fair, the good guys don't always win and the world can be a cruel place, and when gons realises this and transforms he feels a sense of freedom and relief because he doesn't care anymore about life and this may be a dark twisted way of mirroring pinocchios transformation and pinocchios desires to not want to be a puppet and to have no strings attached, not only gon pre chimera ant is portrayed as being a naive happy go lucky individual very similar to how pinocchio is before all the lessons he learns, and in the pinocchio book and film pinocchio is deceived by a talking cat (multiple times in the book and on one ocassion leads to pinnochios dying and him having to be resurrected by the blue fairy) which is similar to how gon feels like pitou a talking betrayed him by not healing kite qnd how gon defeating pitou also led to gon essentially dying and needing to be resurrected by a wish granting being (meaning maybe allukah could represent the blue fairy from pinocchio) and at the end of pinocchio in order for him to become a real boy he has to save his father from a giant whale qnd ging is currently on the black whale ship, so if my theory is true then maybe gon has to rescue at some point in the story in a way that involves him getting to the dark continent. Kites death and reincarnation as a chimera ant which gon blames himself for maybe a reference to pinocchio hanging around lampwick who was a trouble maker and bad influence on pinocchio who ended up getting turned into a donkey qnd getting killed and eaten. Kites death being used to show gon that the chimera ants are no joke and are serious threat maybe a reference how lampwicks fate was used to show pinocchio he needs to take his life seriously. Also in another one of my theories I said that gyros animal /ant form could be based on a self aware like a dolphin and a dolphin is essentially a bootleg whale so maybe the proverbial whale gon may have to save his father from is gyro. hey man, I saw a lot videos of theory about HxH from japanese channels, and one of the theories that has been going on right there is the theory of "team up battle" that Chrollo has against Hisoka. basically, Chrollo has not just take Shalnark and Koltopi abilities to fight but, Machi also help him with her Nen stitches. in the middle of the battle Hisoka makes a comment about how Chrollo was able to retreat the antennas of Shalnark, "it was with a fishing poll or something?". the theory is that Machi was hiding into the crowd helping Chrollo by retreating the antennas for him with her Nen. that's why in the end of the fight, when Machi is talking to Hisoka after his coming back, there's a moment that she looks away and say "better chose your next opponents better next time " and there's a panel of Hisoka just looking at her like "bitch you will play dumb, you think that I not figured it out ". that's why Hisoka also refuses to have Machi treat him with the injury and damage even though he'd had paid her in advance. it's like Hisoka was thinking "bitch, you helped him and now you want to play dumb treating me". that's why Hisoka refuses, "treaty himself" and when Machi was leaving, Hisoka says that "now, he will not let his opponents chose how or when the fight will happen". and Machi continues to play dumb says "whatever " and Hisoka goes behind her and says " I'm talking about the spiders " and in this moment that Machi immediately realizes that Hisoka get it that they help Chrollo. that's why Hisoka decided to go after the entire Troupe. it was to be a fight between Hisoka and Chrollo, but the Troupe help Chrollo in the fight, so it turns into a fight between Hisoka against the Troupe. in the volume 34 Togashi says that Hisoka want to kill Machi right there at that moment ( now makes sense why, is because she helped Chrollo). Chrollo says that it will be a fight to the death, and Chrollo and Hisoka, are alive (Hisoka did died but you know, he come back) so, for Hisoka, their fight is not over yet, plus Chrollo involved the Troupe in their battle, so now is a battle between Hisoka vs. the Troupe. and in the end, characters that was involved in this battle did died (Shalnark and Koltopi). get it? since York New Arc we know that Hisoka wants to fight Chrollo, but he says to Kurapika the reason why he did not fight him yet is because he always was with other members by his side, and he wants to fight Chrollo alone. that's why in the end of the fight he mad, Chrollo screwd a battle that was supposed to be just between they two, putting members of the Troupe helping him, so now he really decided to not just fight "Chrollo alone" like always wanted, now the Troupe get what they wanted, now is a fight of Hisoka against the Troupe.

The fight between Chrollo and Hisoka is not a theory. It's in the manga chapter 351.
This theory is implied when Shizuku tells Chrollo that his book is like a death note. The theory is Hisoka killed Neon the mafia fortune teller i think it was "Auto ghost writer" because Chrollo could use that ability to gather intel fo his advantage.

I think he was in vengeance. The shiela theory. He was going to avenge sarasa. He transformed himself into a pierce and heartless man that was total opposite of the kind hearted and fragile shiela yhat i think one of his abilities maybe "Total opposite" and made his way to the hunter association to make contact with the underground society to inverstigate shiela's case. There was this theory that tsseriednich was the one behind sarasa's death and the possibility was high that pariston already knows these and he was targeting the 4th prince head that's why he works with beyond to get close to kakin. I also believed that pariston was the one written on chrollo's fortune the one who will be his ally in the east. East part of the dark continent written on the book of the journey to the new world.

Does anyone think it's possible that the story and themes of hunter x hunter may be inspired by pinocchio? What if gon wanting to become a hunter and his transformation are inspired by pinocchio wanting to and becoming a real boy which in pinocchios case is meant to symbolise his maturation) in the case of gon when he transforms, his realisation that life isn't fair, the good guys don't always win and the world can be a cruel place, and when gons realises this and transforms he feels a sense of freedom and relief because he doesn't care anymore about life and this may be a dark twisted way of mirroring pinocchios transformation and pinocchios desires to not want to be a puppet and to have no strings attached, not only gon pre chimera ant is portrayed as being a naive happy go lucky individual very similar to how pinocchio is before all the lessons he learns, and in the pinocchio book and film pinocchio is deceived by a talking cat (multiple times in the book and on one ocassion leads to pinnochios dying and him having to be resurrected by the blue fairy) which is similar to how gon feels like pitou a talking betrayed him by not healing kite qnd how gon defeating pitou also led to gon essentially dying and needing to be resurrected by a wish granting being (meaning maybe allukah could represent the blue fairy from pinocchio) and at the end of pinocchio in order for him to become a real boy he has to save his father from a giant whale qnd ging is currently on the black whale ship, so if my theory is true then maybe gon has to rescue at some point in the story in a way that involves him getting to the dark continent. Kites death and reincarnation as a chimera ant which gon blames himself for maybe a reference to pinocchio hanging around lampwick who was a trouble maker and bad influence on pinocchio who ended up getting turned into a donkey qnd getting killed and eaten. Kites death being used to show gon that the chimera ants are no joke and are serious threat maybe a reference how lampwicks fate was used to show pinocchio he needs to take his life seriously. Also in another one of my theories I said that gyros animal /ant form could be based on a self aware like a dolphin and a dolphin is essentially a bootleg whale so maybe the proverbial whale gon may have to save his father from is gyro. Also the whale symbolism doesn't just stop with the black whale ship, but is furthered by the fact that gon is literally from "Whale" Island
