Based on the Hisoka personality test, Pariston is a Transmuter/Specialists.
Transmuters are whimsical, prone to deceit, and fickle. They have unique characteristics, and many are regarded as weirdos or tricksters. They often put forth a facade while hiding the truer aspects of their personalities. Even when they don't hide their personalities, they rarely reveal their true intentions. Many Transmuters rely on techniques that give unique and unpredictable properties to their Nen that reflect their personalities.
Specialists are independent and charismatic. They won't say anything important about themselves and will refrain from making close friends. However, because of their natural charisma that attracts others, they are always surrounded by many people.
That’s exactly what I was thinking
Anytime I don’t know what someone’s nen catagory is I think about what hisoka said
@@WI-FI_GODit’s just many nen users develop nen that isn’t of their own category (for a cost of it being not as good) and if someone doesn’t care if he loses, at the cost of having fun, Pariston would totally do that
It sounds like Gon has a Specialization Nen-type personality cause throughout the series, he has a charisma that make a lot of characters that make him somewhat intrigue by other characters.
@@goodvibe5507 Sounds more like Ging. He's certainly an independent type guy who refrains from making close friends, but still has friends. He attracts Kite, Razor and all the rest of Greed island creators, but still keeps them at a distance. Definitely charismatic, at least when he wants to be. Funny thing is it doesn't feel like Pitou really matches the type, but Hisoka did say it was not completely reliable.
@@goodvibe5507but gon does tell things about himself and is very open about it. Not to mention he’s very simple minded and honest. Specialists tend to not do that at all according to hisokas personality test.
Pariston is smart(obviously)
So his nen ability is gonna be efficient and unfair for sure.
ApplePitou?
@@zyonic69 what do you mean?
@@zyonic69npc comment. No correlation
I don't see efficiency in Pariston. The guy loves Chaos. I see him more being able to throw a wrench in well laid plans.
@@sudoggs7178 welp his ability might still be efficient, afterall he would want a nen ability that makes chaos so why not making a ability that is efficient in said making Chaos right.
Finally new Hunter x Hunter content
Hell yeah!
I feel like he made more videos when there wasn't any new content than when there was new chapters
Liam casually carrying the HxH fandom on his back
I know I audibly gasped when I seen it
@@ShadyChuck Definitely agree. The fandom is slowly but surely dying and he’s helping out on reviving it/keeping it alive
He is an enhancer. He enhances his speech. And drags you into 24/7 flame wars and trolling. It's so effective he nullifies fighting. His hatsu is call Filibuster
nice xD
Honestly pretty good
Nice
Doesn't sound too far stretched
Infinite Filibuster
"kill kite again"
Good luck. He gave Pitou a run for their money while down an arm and now Kite is Meruem's sibling.
Can't believe nobody mentioned the dolls for his ability. Both the doll that was in the room with Pariston's crew, that Ging indicated was the most powerful of them, as well as the mysterious murder snake doll currently causing chaos.
Exactly. I think this is a highly plausible theory that is amongst the HxH fandom. Immediately after Ging sees the doll (Marione) the next person he talks to is Pariston. It could very well be that his nen ability has the capability of transferring his soul or being able to control things via a marionette doll. Either way, Togashi will cook up something good for Pariston, he is Ging's rival after all lol
Where can I read these developments???
@@Will-jg2zsI don't think that doll was one of Pariston hastu ability still remain unknown. But from the election arc he show great usages of ren. When he scare Cheadle. I think that doll tempest hunter not creation hastu ability from Pariston
@@Will-jg2zsWhich Episode or Chapter ?
I also like the idea that his ability doesn empower him but weakens his opponents. like a condition that the more emotion you have the greater a state of Zetsu you are forced into. This would lead to him being able to over power anyone with minimal ren/ten/gyo like with Uvo. So the only person who could beat him is someone who has no emotional connection to him at all. I really want it to be a forced zetsu state but with ever increasing/ "decreasing" output of nen. it would play perfectly into his demented way of loving and hating and also equate to his lack of desire for increasing his own power. He doesnt have to. He just forces you to not have any notable strength.
I feel like Pariston's perfect ability is simply to create indestructible walls if he locks you in a room with him. you could kill him, but nen after death would keep you locked in there forever. I can just imagine him using it on Ging who proceeds to just chill with him even though he could just carry around a Greed Island Accompany card to peace out.
Pariston and Ging clash will be epic one in the dark continent. Pariston like to break down people psychologically playing mind war fare game. Ging is mentally strong he is huge thorn to Pariston can't figure Ging out they make a prefect match ☯.
Dialogue Wheel sounds like it could 100% be Pariston's ability 😅
Or a chaos meter
The sinking ship power makes me think of The Hundred Paths of Nezumi-san power that the rat zodiac user from Juuni Taisen uses.
I can't imagine whoever commented that suggestion didn't know, especially since it's a direct zodiac rat ↔️ zodiac rat transfer
His nen ability is to never lose a game but also never winning.
His Nen ability is Silent Majority!! He’s controlling it remotely to mess with Kurapika’s Nen class.
Can't believe nobody else said this. I think he also controls the other doll that was in the room with them his crew.
Sorry, I don't really understand what leads to that. Could you explain it to me? He wasn't even mentioned or close to the floor of the 14th princes
@pandazarra1394 th-cam.com/video/Q0zGcbfJWSc/w-d-xo.html This video isn't really about that, but the theory that silent majority is Pariston's ability is included here. It's too much to type out.
@@Hissingace110the silent majority user has to be in the room. it was said in the manga. and parriston was located elsewhere.
@ashadowintime7305 That was only an assumption about the ability. There's a few known facts about the ability seemingly stated via internal monologue of the user, and that wasn't part of it.
5:26 Small correction: A.P.R can be used in many targets at a time, he used it on both Kite and Gon at the same time
for mtg fans out there :
Pariston is a stax group hug player who "forgot" to include a wincon in his deck
Hisoka is the "I will teach you how to play" only to reveal once you start getting a board that he was piloting a cEDH all along
Ging freecs is the weird combo deck that nobody heard about but is reaaaally really nicely built and has a lot of interaction to unpack
Netero is the pinacle of Voltron in cEDH and will disregard his life in order to squash you before turn 4
There's a line in Jujutsu Kaisen that has always stuck with me. It's when Hanami said "It's simple, therefore, it's troublesome", something along those lines, referring to Todo's ability. So I'm a fan of the theory that Pariston's nen ability is also simple, but its simplicity is what makes it strong. The JJK mangaka is also a big fan of HxH, so I think he got that line from analyzing nen abilities.
W reference
@@anasessalih5942 it's a bit sad that the polarization of the fandom seems to make a majority forgets how they're witnessing one of the greatest manga fights ever
@@anasessalih5942 yeah there's something with both of these mangas that, albeit being quite different in themes, aesthetics and characters, resonate a lot with me. And I gotta say that JJK satiates the desire that I had for complex fights with both plenty of incredible hand-to-hand combats n fight choreography, and a more JoJo- type, ability-focused n cerebral type of fighting. I even think JJK sort of upgraded the formula during the Culling Game with all the intricate abilities, twists, character moments and good unpredictability (the Tomb of the Stars fight, Hakari vs. Kashimo, Sendai Colony were absolute peak) and it's only getting better with this battle of the strongest that's very chess-like, outsmarting-your-outsmarting, and using every possible element to win the fight, with high stakes n super enjoyable spectacle
@@anasessalih5942 yeah despite all his bragging, he's definitely the underdog in this fight. Narratively I can only see him win, but in pure terms of powerscaling it's really not looking good for him
@@anasessalih5942 well I disagree on that: not that you said it but I always see people saying that JJK has only the fights for itself but I find it to be a very stupid statement imo as 90-95% of the story is made of fights so obviously it has only the fights for itself as it PRECISELY tells its story through the fights (character evolution, pivotal plot moments, shift in power balance, etc.)
Although I prefer HxH, I think JJK is more consistently good and thrilling because what I find truly incredible in HxH is condensed in a few arcs; not to say that the rest of HxH arcs are bad or mid but that it's less captivating in comparison to its best/later arcs, while JJK keeps its level of quality and engagement rather consistently throughout the series imo.
The rest I agree: contrarily to people saying that it's a mix between Bleach and Naruto, Gege truly owes the most to HxH in terms of power system, characters and display of morality (with a bit of Evangelion regarding themes and character psychology)
I think I saw someone suggest, or perhaps I extrapolated from another suggestion (can't recall), that his ability makes him untouchable so long as he has not directly harmed you.
Like, he can plot and scheme and cause your demise through other agents, but if you try to punch him while he has not punched you it nullfies the attack.
Allowing him to troll without having to worry about getting punched in the face for it.
dont know sounds abit to broken so if someone used killuas sis to wish him dead it just wouldn't work ... can't see it
You just described the Internet comments section 😂
@@testoftimegaming5219 I think being invulnerable to deliberate attempts to harm him directly wouldn't be completely insane. The condition could be that it stops working if he ever attempts to deliberately harm another directly.
This would give a reason for his absurd roundabout games and scheming and also gives a nice edge to his hatred for Ging. If he gets angry and careless he could lose his invulnerability.
@testoftimegaming5219 its not that broken and allukas wish would work because the person is not directly attacking him. I could be wrong but it sounds like his ability is similar to the chairman arc where the zoldyck family had to follow certain rules of engagement and couldn't just run 1v1s
I think comparing the abilities of Ging, Netero, and Pariston may give us the best idea of what Pariston may be doing with his abilities. Netero, despite his darker nature, is the closest to a typical hero. He puts his life on the line and goes punchy punchy. Ging has been shown to be the loner of the trio, and seems to spend more of his time exploring, and maybe just ignoring Gon. His nen is focus seems to be do adapt to any situation, hence him throwing nen through walls. He is also very detail oriented, as we can see when he built Greed Island. We also see a kind of gradient of good to evil occuring, with Ging being clearly neutral. Pariston has shown himself to be very focused upon group dynamics, he is not as selfish as Netero or a loner like Ging. Pariston gets all of his energy from the reactions from others, and this makes him a kind of inverse to Ging, who really doesn't care what people think for the most part. Those reactions are critical, and he is also very good at playing people off each other. Since he also doesn't care about winning or losing, it means he is fine living in chaos and enjoys the joy to be found in those moments of control loss. This is also pretty important, Pariston doesn't mind not being in control, otherwise what is the point of not winning or losing? This is also why he aligns himself with Beyond, since he probably has no interest in the grander scheme of things but wants someone to "play" with as he did Netero. We've also seen this whole "playing" with others before. Biscuit does it with everyone she fights, until she powers up, though there isn't malice behind her abilities. Hisoka also loves toying with opponents. A part of me hopes that Pariston has some kind of unconscious nen kind of ability that as a result has changed his appearance over time, perhaps even hiding his true persona to others. Rat may also have been assigned to Pariston because Netero knew that he was working with Beyond behind his back.
He's a transmuter specialist via hisoka's personality test, he transmutes his aura into light and thats where the sparkles come from, but it also lets him be an infinite flashbang to constantly blind the opponent, and can likely use it to make offensive weapons of some kind. Makes him incredibly annoying to fight against because you can never trust your eyes to aim your attacks, and it fits his personality in all honesty.
Going off the fact he was the rat in the zodiacs I think Paristons ability would work like Aizen’s shikai Kyōka Suigetsu from Bleach. Once the conditions are met his victim catches a disease/sickness and he’d have control of their senses. He seems like the type of person who would have and use abilities that mess with peoples mind &/OR senses like that.
It's amazing how Pariston piques people's curiosity about his potential powers, and I think it's largely because we don't have any data on it yet. We don't know how strong his nen is, we don't know what category of nen user he falls into, we just don't know anything, so the possibilities are endless.
Theory he has an ability called plot and its just to constantly control the course of events that take place in the show by making slight adjustments to the story itself basically like the watcher in marvel
I would like to see more post mortem nen content. Like what could be an evolve form of Kurapika's nen abilities when he is able to use post mortem nen.
Pariston: “That’s my secret, Ging: I don’t have a hatsu.”
Illumi is so good a manipulator because he's not manipulating living things, his Needlemen ability kills the person he uses it on so he doesn't need to use manipulation to fight their willpower like Shalnark does. On top of that Illumi's Needleman doesn't have a fine level of control over his victims, he just makes zombies unless he devotes more attention to his control.
It is a common misconception that Hisoka is driven by desire to win. He enjoys the thrill of the fight, its playfulness as he showcases it like performance. Winning is merely the byproduct of that detachment to winning, which paradoxically makes one more inclined to do just that. Not needing to win makes him be so unflustered all the time, just taking everything as a fun challenge, which makes him so fast on his feet with improvising and ultimately winning ....all this adding to the energetic domination of his opponents.
The idea that Pariston has a game of wit where violence isn’t necessary is similar to the one in Yu yu hakusho with Kaito and his territory so Togashi might’ve took inspiration from his other series and added it to Hunter x Hunter
Thank you for making a video! I love to think and learn about HxH
Glad you're back!
It would be great if you did one of these Nen Ability theorising videos for Nobunaga. Especially after the most recent chapters, i feel like there is a lot more room to theorise and come up with a more probable ability now.
12:22 This reminds me of that one Bleach character, Shinji, whose Bankai inverts everything. If you look up, you're actually looking down. If you step forward, you're actually stepping backwards. Basically, the more honed your senses are the worse this will effect you when everything is switched

ohhhh man, we missed you so much! thank you for the new stuff!
I really like the Sinking Ship theory! I have been wondering about his abilities for years and I can't believe I didn't thought of that. I love how the ability is related to his zodiac animal :D
pariston would be a manipulator but with multiple different types of manipulations, like i could see pariston having luck manipulation that increases his own luck for what would lead too his most fun outcome, also other types of manipulation that where mentioned in this video
Would be interesting if it’s something like he is as powerful as his enemy thinks he is. He could then mislead people to thinking he’s strong with his manipulations.
Alternatively, it would be hilarious if he had a power like estarossa from seven deadly sins (those that hate him cannot attack him), or something like it cos that’s too op
It has to be something like Estarosa in my mind.
Personal headcannon is that he's invulnerable to any direct attempt to deliberately harm him with the condition being if he makes any direct attempt to harm someone else he is no longer protected or maybe even just dies immediately. It'd give a reason for his insane scheming.
I really like this, there’s this small anime called “Battle in 5 seconds” spoiler the mc his special power is what other people think his ability is so it’s important to be manipulative, crafty, and light on your feet.
I've seen videos saying how bingeable your videos are, and its true because...ive watched all your HxH content..
You guys have really opened my mind up about the potential of Pariston s nen ability. I think the key is in the fact that Netero found him engaging to the point of not being bored. I’d bet it’s the ability to make you forget how to use your Nen under certain conditions. I like the idea that isn’t that powerful but has an ability with devastating precision and effectiveness in the right circumstance. An ability that Netero used to keep himself sharp.
Bro is single handedly carrying the community of Peak x Peak! 💯
I feel like he has an ability we can do the opposite of what you expect or prefer. So similar to how some RPGs give you a choice but it gives you the opposite effect of whatever you pick. You pick peace and end up in a fight. The ability should be frustrating and make you second guess everything parison tells you
I love your HXH vids so much and thanks for doing it on my fav character Pariston❤
I had a thought recently. Who would win in a fight against Netero and the entire Phantom Troupe? Use any version of the Phantom Troupe you like. I think the Phantom Troupe could win with a plan. Since Netero had prep time (meditated to gain more aura), the Phantom Troupe could have some as well. In the end, their plan is probably gonna be a bunch of attacks from different members at once from different angles in a single second to ensure Netero can't deal with it. Like Bono's Jupiter from above, Franklin shooting from far away, Nobunaga Uvogin Hisoka Feitan Machi from different sides while Chrollo teleports a Phinks with 100 wind-ups behind Netero. Could be interesting.
I think theoretically they could if they know what his nen ability is. But it wouldn't be guaranteed victory it'd be a chance.
Without knowing exactly how it works they're fucked. And some of them are useless regardless because he's too fast for most of them to make a difference.
I'm pretty sure Netero claps them all the moment he claps his hands together and activates his ability. 😅
He's stated to literally be the fastest in the world when it comes to that. The fight of Meruem vs Netero, yes its played out anime to seem drawn out etc. Since we are watching it over episodes. But that fight occurs over a span of 5 minutes. Within the first 10 seconds was a whole episode. That's how fast they were fighting. His nen ability activates within 0.01 seconds. Stated they threw thousands to countless numbers of blows on meruem in just a few minutes. Thats breaking the speed of sound.
Fairly sure none of the Phantom troupe even comes close to that speed.
The troupe would win but only feitan would survive. He gets beaten up>gets mad>rising sun>netero and every troupe member except feitan die.
@@666Kaca Feitan wouldn’t even survive the first blow from Netero’s nen ability.
And none of the troop are faster than him by a long shot. He performs his clap and ability activation in 0.01 seconds.
That is breaking the speed of sound. His fight with Meruem was 5 minutes long. In the first minute alone he had already done thousands of blows against Meruem one of the strongest nen users we had ever seen.
Add that Netero is actually really good at sizing up opponents and figuring out strengths and weaknesses. He’d know who to first hit and kill as he also already knows about the Phantom Troupe.
I love the Troupe, but they get their asses handed to them in this fight.
@@AspieMemoires "Feitan wouldn’t even survive the first blow from Netero’s nen ability. " source: trust me bro

I think Ging hints at his power in the election arc, saying "what makes him so powerful, is he doesn't want to win the election, or lose; it makes him dangerous, and impossible to read." Another hint in that arc, is when Cheadle constantly chides herself for becoming emotional, somehow giving him power in her estimation. Another hint comes later in the Succession arc, where Paristan is worried/angered in his interactions with Ging, and he becomes emotionally hateful towards Ging's tactical prowess, saying it somehow thwarts his plans; a prowess he even outwardly laments, as it seems to undermine his own ability.
Thusly, I think as long he's able to remain dispassionate about his objectives, and his objectives are to sow chaos and disrupt their opponent's plans/get under their skin purely for the fun of it, rather than to have plans that advance any kind of personal agenda, he will see the perfect pathway to achieving his objective of messing up an opponent's plans... which, in a backwards sort of way, allow him to win any contest he enters, not by his own virtue, but by sabotaging his opponents purely for the hell of it. And, if correct, as the perfect troll, I sincerely hope he calls his power FU QQ KYS & SMD, because that would be an excellent troll in and of itself.
I have three ideas hear me out. 1. His hatsu could be the ability too see the future, but how accurate it is depends on how much info he has. Like he sees possible futures and it narrows down the more information he has. 2. What if he doesn't have a hatsu, and he's very skilled in the basics. 3. (More of a thought) thinking about his affinity, what if he, ging, and netero have the same affinity, or are at least the affinities right next to each other. Either way, like netero the both would probably have hatsu that aren't their natural affinity cause they'd enjoy the challenge of becoming skilled in such a thing.
Money on Togashi forgetting to give Pariston an ability
You can make a new video about HxH every week and I'd still always learn more lol.
Pariston's nen ability...
I know based off of a previous quote from Morrell (that seems to be taking about Pariston) it has something to do with speed; whether that be physical or conditions. Okay. Here's my guess:
a copy of Pariston (physical or even hearing his voice in your head) attaches itself to your nen and siphons your nen. The more annoyed you become, the faster it takes your nen; until you lose everything and pass out or die. There'd be some crazy conditions for an ability like this; but, Pariston would only find that more exciting.
That...
Or your own nen ability gets a ton of conditions attached to it and therefore makes it almost impossible to use.
Ging's ability is what I want to know. It's probably simple but extremely powerful. I mean, he can copy other's abilities just by being hit with them and it still isn't his ability. I wonder if Togashi has even planned Ging's ability yet lol. I wouldn't doubt Liam's prediction that it's in a class of it's own.
Keep up the great work and videos Liam
Will you make more jjk content with the new season? I'd love some jjk episode reviews
I guess-
Double man: forcing ones memories and motives onto another as to have the target operate behind the scenes. Could explain the vanishing of nen users with little to no evidence connecting him. Targets would simply act as pariston with a focused goal.
Mystery Match: a game of clue but with different objectives, ultimately setting up a figurative board with targets connected to that goal. Forcing them into a game of observation and deduction as they attempt to reach the goal. Targets wouldnt know they are even playing the game, as their own motivation is what drives them to act.
Overall, i think it would have to do with motivation of others and himself in some way as he tends to nip the motivations of others.
I like the idea that he's invulnerable specifically when you're trying to hurt him. So you would only be able to kill him by accident.
You can't get rid of him, you can't win. He's just there forever being annoying and there's nothing you can do about it.
You can't beat him, he can't beat you because he's actually weak. You've just got to put up with him.
Either that or every time you kill him he's immediately replaced by an identical clone of himself making him immortal. Kind of like how you can never kill all the rats, there's always another to take it's place.
Edit: based on someone else's comment I like the idea that there's nothing physically stopping people from hurting him, just the closer they get to doing it suddenly the less motivation they have. By the time they get to the point of actually hitting him they've lost all motivation to do so. So the only way to overcome it would be in an indirect way
Thats not gonna be what it is
@@apoocumber4164 Why not? I don't expect it to be combative and it's no more outlandish than anything else in this comment section or in hxh
I do like the idea that he can't be directly hurt. This would also go along with the condition being maybe he can't directly hurt others.
Which is why hr schemes ,to accomplish his goals. He takes out his enemies but it's never by his own hand per say.
@@savage_Sloth90 His ability could be negating attacks with bad intensions like you can kill him by thinking your attack is weak and playful but one shot for him
Paristons Nen ability is called Silent Partner, he can initiate someone else in a Nen Contract without their knowledge but he must concede whatever conflict he has with them currently or he can only initiate it on somone he has lost to. That is why he loves losing, because he is planting bombs or chains in people.
Ranting expansion: its also why low level hunters eagerly sign up with Pariston, he gives them advantageous Nen Contracts until they are hooked. I bet he is syphoning Nen from thousands of people if not also creatures.
It ll be intresting if his nen ability is that he can make clone of his opponent with the conditions being 1.he has to spend a certain amount of time with them(like he doing now with ging)2.to know the target s nen ability
It will be insane if he has stack of clones of different ppl like netero.there was a panel in manga where broken toys were shown maybe he has to make toy of his opponent like witchcraft.
My favorite TH-camr is back 😸😸😸 (I know you have another channel but I only care about your hxh analysis) lol
I missed ur videos so much.... I was craving for new hxh content
I could see Pariston giving himself a power kinda like Crazy Slots - something that relies on pure chance to an extent, something even Paris can’t control. It gives him that randomness and excitement he craves all from himself - it adds a factor to battles where he can be at a disadvantage even to someone he is stronger and smarter than. Or something where he can get exceptionally bad luck if conditions aren’t met? Like Qrow Branwen’s semblance in RWBY, or on the opposite end Hakari’s lottery/pachinko technique in JJK.
Feel like a coin toss where he looks at the coin and can lie about the answer would match his style
something simular to mizaistom's cross game in the sense it can stop someone from moving but more mentally. where the harder they think to beat him the harder it gets!
Ooh I like this, they just can't hurt him because no matter how much they want to, the closer they get to actually doing it they lose the motivation to do so
I would like to see more post mortem nen content. Like what could be an evolve form of Kurapika's nen abilities when he is able to use post mortem nen.
Facts bro I liked how Togashi before the chapter went on break he was adding more depth to post mortem nen
Initial reaction: Come on, this is bullshit!
Final reaction: Okaaaaaayy, that kinda does make sense given the character and how awesome would it be!
Mystery Men reference?? You just keep getting cooler mate.
An idea I like would be reset ability based on annoyance. The more annoyed you are, the more he can reset anything he doesn’t like to annoy you more leading him able to annoy you more as you get frustrated by him. This would let him play forever as long as annoyance high enough
He has the ability to borrow nen from people. The restrictions are he must knows them and if they are subordinates to him. This would make his ant army all the more terrifying.
I like the idea of getting stronger the more you figure out about his nen.
Sort of how you lure a mouse in with cheese, and by the time you figure out it's a trap it's already about to kill the mouse.
'We could always kill kite again'
Shots fired
Pariston: you don't hate me?
Escanor: Why would I?
YAY NEW CONTENT!!! ❤❤❤
"…I suppose we could kill Kite again." Has me dying 😂
Please make a video of Melody, or Rengoku I find their nen abilities unique and interesting as well. Great video!
What if the guy literally manifests the ability his opponent imagines him to have
brilliant
Pariston: “for my neutral special Hatsu I wield a gun”
Pariston is the true definition of ENJOY THE PROCESS not the end game
HE FINALLY UPLOADED AGAIN!!
That trappy ability that makes his W more assured as you figure him out.. That's the one. That guy's a genius
You forget some of neteros last words for the ant king which was
"You know nothing of the bottomless malice in the human heart"
Which could've been foreshadowing for peraston who knows 🤷🏾♂️
I could be wrong but I'm 90% sure that comment was made to make it clear what the ant arc was about. Humanity were the true monsters in the end, even more of a monster then this ant king that literally eats the brains of opponents.
Maybe his ability is mental games, where his opponents are mentally affected and confuse themselves whether to attack or not or whether to use their ability or not. Which derives them crazy and they loose.
first off great vid. secondly, this is the first time i've seen a dyslite sponser, the only ads i saw for it was this random clip of a chick stabbing another chick with a "surprised pikachu meme" underneath the footage. Whoever does their advertising kinda sucks at it. I blocked the ads cause they were so cringe but you actually did it a really good service.
I would like a video dedicated to what you would want your nen ability to be. What kind of type do you think you are and what kind of restrictions would be placed on your ability so it would work in the world of HxH. I also want to know what Yoshihiro Togashi nen ability would be. And I would like a video talking about what nen abilities your viewers would want. I think it would be fun discussion.
MOM WAKE UP NEW WORLD REVEIW JUST POSTED!!
Yes Liam Is back!!
I think his ability is something, like, FULL-ON HEAVILY based on deception. Like, a combination of illusions, space manipulation, maybe time even, and VERY chaotic in nature (to the point where even he himself cant fully predict how exactly it will work this time). I think he's that type of guy who will be like "well, lets see what set of rules/skills will be this time".
And his attitude and constant attempts to annoy people or put them in a difficult scenarios - is like a training for him - to see how people will react to such chaotic situations. Thats why he'll have a lot of experience even without fighting much.
So it wont be a "fight me" ability, but more like "from now on you will be just simply losing very slowly"
I think it'd be some kind of self-preservation ability (and maybe preserves the opponent he plays with?) that can also activate tremendously offensively when someone manages to corner the rat (whether through the ability or some loophole), but he otherwise can do damn near absolutely nothing nen-wise. Thus, Pariston would be forced to rely on his own cunning and manipulation to do anything offensively, something he's extremely capable in. And it could be a type of ability that gets stronger the longer it is in play.
The wait for this video was excruciating 😩
I would like to think that Pariston's ability is to absorb the emotions and desires of others into strong nen which he uses for his hatsu; Game or Claim. Where you partake in mini games to either get your nen aura back or lose more of it.
i think it would be something like bisky but for him and also for his opponent.. maybe this is way he is glowing all the time... something that allows him to keep playing the game!!
Maybe it's like a game of chicken. He who loses his temper/throws the first punch loses
"i can not win" might be a really good nen restriction.
He likes to put himself at a disadvantage for fun, so I assume his hatsu is boosted by crazy conditions and vows. Whatever it is, if fulfilled , would probably secure him a win.
10:38 that power is actually from the rat character in the anime Juni Taisen: Zodiac War. He won the war with this power
Immaculate Mystery Men reference ngl
I think that pariston has the ability to read opponents aura and probably dispel or deactivate their aura or nen. I would love to see him using the aura of his enemies to power up some puppets he controlls, making enemies fight their own aura. That would be a good counter to enchancers, like Gon and Ging .. if he manages to set the conditions.
His fake expression shows that he always hide his true thoughts, so maybe his ability is based on illusions and tricks to make the opponent fall into a trap. He probably fight using feints .. but i actually think that he is more an assassin that prefer to rapidly kill the one that he want to kill, becouse he likes more playing with peoples than killing them, so his offensive abilities are probably built around making the opponent restrained or unable to escape a condition. He is probably more on the defense in normal fights, giving metally exausting quiz to the aggressors or metally exausting choices that trick the enemy into avoiding the combat.
He probably makes the opponent loose time and energies.
I think at least one condition Pariston has, is that the more hate someone feels toward him, the easier they are to manipulate, which is why i think he tries to do things to make people hate him but at the same time they are unable to do anything about what he plans to do. I also believe that he has a power similar to Camila's wherein his nen can affect and manipulate persons once the condition above has been met. I also believe he has some role to play in the silent majority ability that is messing with kurapika rn. Personally i think pariston is either a specialist or a conjurer.
One thing is for sure, most characters arent afraid of Pariston but none of them will engage him in combat.
-(its ben a bit since i've thought about pariston so i might be wrong about his personality and thus these suggestions could be wrong.)-
Maybe pariston doesn't have a nen ability and thats his restriction, just enjoying himself, annoying people pretending that he does have one and them trying to figure out his abilities, and getting into his position solely due to smarts and manipulation.
But pheraps maybe having a vow that anyone that manages to stir an emotion on him could make a powerful nen ability for the situation. Or maybe if he wants to play a game and make it as long as he can without wining or loosing having an ability that prevents cheating or something (and nen could be cheating), and erase said means of cheating (maybe erasing nen abilities until the game is finished, idk.)
I always had this head canon that Pariston's nen ability was bringing my dad home
Feel like his nen ability will be something about rewriting reality. A power that allow him to always have it his way/follow the narrative he sets up.
Of course, since it would be a broken ability, he could only activate it under very specific conditions.
Came for the OP content, stayed for the Mystery Men reference.
Bisky ability is a support in the form of massage that has nothing directly to do with her combat except it enables her in her pursuits. I think parson's might be similar maybe the Pialog Wheel even that would be hilarious and in keeping with some of Freed ilands cards like the documentary ability
Pariston is definitely going to have a ridiculous nen contract for sure
