I absolutely love Arc. So useful for my development job, and can't wait till they release it for windows. I especially love the mini arc pop up. While buggy, it's nice to have the link I opened in teams appear right there, rather than on a seperate screen Great little video mate, ka pai
Yeah there are a few little bugs here and there. I think anything that feature rich with releases every week is for sure going to have its share. :) Thanks for watching
I get that there are browsers or extensions that do some of this, but arc bring so many features with absolute simplicity that works great for regular people. :)
I'm frustrated just for the fact that Arc is so good, but password management is a complete headache, I though you could use the chrome extension for icloud passwords but it doesnt, do you guys have any idea on how to make it work?
There's a icloud keychain extension. I heard you need to be running the MacOS Sonoma beta to use it though (for some unknown reason). It has absolutely solidified my continued use of arc since that was the main thing i was missing
@@moonlad3835 I’m currently using Sonoma in its beta, still the chrome extension does not work for me, it actually says something that the extension is designed to only be used in windows, so I’m not sure, Can you please share the link of the extension to confirm if it’s the same Ive tested?
Im' sorry, but having downloaded it and installing it, (and having submitted my email address to get an "invite"), I can "log in" or do anything with the browser without an "Invite" or "account", (even though I created the account, evidently, it has not been approved). How can I use this piece of software, any Ideas? I'm dying to use it.
At this stage you can either join the waitlist (for me this was a week) or find an invite. Here is one as a thank you for taking the time to watch my video . :) arc.net/gift/m/938f02b
here after 8 months later, its trash, eats up memory and drains battery like a A grade whore sucking the soul outta you, Their ceo is also a lil bitch boy
0:47 F11??? 1:10 ... So... Picture in picture? Which in most browsers already works flawlessly for any content, same as full screening, including video calls? Yeah, the only thing I like about Arc is the more vertical interface, as I am one of those 'monsters' that keeps their dock neatly nested onto the right side of the screen... Besides that... I keep my browser tabs clean by modifying Firefox into having thr address/search bar AND the tabs in the same line (the ideal thing would be to completely remove the address bar and having a shortcut to invoke it, but alas...)
Sad to report that I run back to Safari as I am writing this!! What a one-night-stand company philosophy they have .... Just disappointing. Not even and adequate support and then moving on to improve, just a plain cold turkey goodbye.
II will ARC , SAFARI became horrible! try comparing google maps in Safari and firefox and you will see how Safari crashes. What's more, try Safari against Chrome, Opera or Edge, and you will see that the news portals scroll well

one year later:
Safari Browser - Arc is dead
Love this!! Arc seems like an amazing tool for creators. I have never been this excited about a browser.
For sure! Glad you like it!
1:10 Opera be like
2:56 Tampermonkey extension be like

@@TheCedarCo in this case, you are right

What is wrong with password management? :) you can import all your passwords on startup? :)
@@TheCedarCo I guess it’s security, just handle my password through Apple, with an extension or something like that in Arc

Did you get an invite? If not, let me know.
I'm already calling it now, this browser is a fad like Neon and Cake.

@@TheCedarCo Oh, I forgot to mention, nice vídeo! ;)
takes too much battery, dont think its good for daily use
I think that is one of the things that they have been working on. :) Personally I couldn't care less as I have my laptop plugged in 95% of the time.
Could you send me an Arc invite? Sorry for the inconvenience.
