Dave I don't think you should ever apologize for the length of your videos. That's just my opinion

Great video by the way. Very to the point yet providing the overview of what is going on with camping in the bush.

I went hammock camping last week from Sunday to Sunday and slept outside the whole time. That DD hammock I got from you was THE BOMB Dave! Super comfortable and I haven't slept that good in a long time. I might just be addicted to sleeping outdoors now

I've followed Dave since the 90's and he only gets better with his skill sets. A true outdoorsman indeed. I think it's spectacular that this man invested his time, building to train future outdoorsman in Ohio,a definite plus for the Buckeye State.

Very cool, my system is almost identical. I do use an under quilt, and my down sleeping bag doubles as my quilt. I will have to pick up one of those Nite Ize lights, I usually hang my edc flash light from the ridge line. Always enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Outstanding video. I appreciate the inside look at a small feature of your class and the system you use. I've been primarily camping from my 4 wheeler or a side-by-side for the last 5 years now. Getting older and grayer/whiter like you and the knees and joints don't work quite like they used to. My set up for everyday carry on my 4 wheeler is pretty simple, but I carry a bit much when I am overnighting or doing a 3 day out of a machine. I'm sure you're aware of Wind Rock, Ride Royal Blue, Brimstone area. I camp in that area for big holiday weekend rides, but I ride my own piece of property daily and camp on it at least once a month. I have your 10L camo dry bag which I like a lot ( _it doesn't show dirt_ ) but I think I'm gonna get one of your 20L bags and try your set up. I use a War Bonnet Blackbird, Swagman Roll, and a DD Tarp 3X3 I got from you. I'm gonna see if they'll fit in a Sea to Summit 20L bag that's got one too many patches from years and years of canoeing and kayaking. IF they fit, I'll order one of your 20L. Again, thanks for the 4 wheeler packout videos. They are definitely useful to a lot of us older fellas.

Too bad we can't all get the Deluxe Dave Canterbury bushcraft guide/camp cook/radio operator/apiary hobbyist model. He is in extremely high demand. Classes are next best option.

Dave, you dont have a quickdraw pistol holder rigged over your head like Blackie in case of wild hogs or bears? L MAO when I saw that. Great tips buddy. Your top dog in the survival world IMO.

Bet the hammock works better than my great kilt and a tarp. End up with a wet butt in the great kilt hammock because condensation.
