Complete SOLITUDE in My Truck Camper - Cold, Rain and Snow

- Thanks for coming along with me at this completely empty campground. Very unpredictable weather starting with rain and overcast when arriving at camp changing to blue skies and sunshine with an occasional shower throughout the evening. I purchased some green firewood which caused and issue with having a campfire for cooking. I was able to gather enough wood from around camp to get the fire going and finally begin cooking. Before crawling into the truck for the night snow flurries were falling and the temperature felt incredibly colder than what the forecast was showing. Finishing the night with an amazing dinner and relaxing in the truck. The next morning brings sunshine and a nice morning walk at the campground as I enjoy some coffee.

Hey Dylan. Good drone footage usage. You fought the fire, but that steak says you won the final round. You made that camp appear so relaxing and quiet, you put the bug in me to brave the cold and go!

I’m sure you love your area, but during the winter those trees loose their leaves and they look dead.
I suppose that why I Love being surrounded by Pine Trees. They’re always beautiful, especially when they’re covered with snow
Always great to have the campsite to yourself. I bought the Costco dual power pack kit with solar panels a while ago (sorry, not the Ecoflow). Got to camp last summer, set up the solar panels on the truck roof and plugged them into the power pack to run my 12V cooler frig. For 8 days, I didn't have to worry about food spoiling and the power pack was always at full charge each day. If you're going out for more than just overnight, solar panels are the only way to go.
Sounds like you've got an awesome setup for longer durations! I agree solar panels are great for those situations 👍

I have the same ecoflow river 2. Definitely a game changer, even for tent camping (80 degrees at midnight. 2 fans keeping me and my dog cool). Use it to charge my phone, run my camp lights, great for home power outages s well. I even got the solar panel for it. I would like a bigger one to power a small heater though. My SUV too small to safely run a buddy heater. And I would like to be able to do late fall / early spring camping.
I agree it's a solid power station without a doubt👍 Something larger for a heater maybe look at the Wave 2. I'm going to be testing it out soon to see how well the heater option works in the cold.
Dude I just realized I wasn't subscribe to your channel. I have been watching for a while. I love root beer and the food looked good. Just got back from a camping trip here in New Hampshire after a foot of snow and we had a blast. 👍👍👍

I'm glad no one else was camping. That site...the area as a whole...way way too overcrowded with sites. I couldn't camp so close to other people that I could hear them breathing. Nope.
