It depends on what you’re looking for tbh. I enjoy watching those ladies you speak of when watching cooking vids and I enjoy the ones to the point. Both have their good points. This was great for a video you need when you’re about to make supper and need the recipe quickly. The others are good for relaxing and meal planning.

Made this tonight, I didn’t have onions but used dried minced onion instead, cooked same way. Still delicious! Served it with grilled pork tenderloin. This one goes into my recipe book. I’ve had Texas Roadhouse rice and this is better in my opinion. 💕 Thanks for the yummy rice
I hate cooking but I tried this recipe. SO EASY AND DELICIOUS! It made a huge portion and was definitely a contender with Texas RH. Of course with every recipe you have to tweak it to your liking, so next time I will only use about 1/4 cup of soy sauce to make it a little less salty. Other than that- chef’s kiss!

Reminds me of a combo of Chinese fried rice & homemade Rice A Roni. Luv both of them. U might of just give me the solution I need to make my shrimp fried rice better.
I was thinking the same thing. When I saw him cook the rice until it had brown bits in it that reminded me of Rice A Roni. I didn’t know if Spinelli knew what that was because I ate that a lot when I was a kid. And then I also thought if I could use any leftover rice to make shrimp fried rice. It's not spicy in my opinion. Just omit any of the spicy Seasoning. Adding Smoked Sausage it Ok.
I would leave out the cayenne. The smoked paprika wouldn't add much if any heat. Adding smoked sausage would be great.
