Swear I’ve watched this video 100 times and it never gets old. 802s literally ruin your life with how insane they sound. Got the chance to hear them in a demo room once and it literally ruined my life. Hope that one day I’ll be able to afford a costly setup such as this one!
And it means your speakers would have to be good as well. I build speakers and a lot of TH-cam demo's sound amazing on my made speakers. I also got some B&W 706s too. My TH-cam demos of my made speakers sound great on my B&Ws. Don't play TH-cam demo's of the same speakers. Lacks impact.

I thought that the title was overstatment, but I relized that was understatment. Those MC901 are obviousley unique pair of PA that effortlessy squeze the music out of the hi-end speakers instead of sound that imitates the music. And in such a huge room... Congratulations for the effort and the idea and courage. Not many dealers would do this...
This system just sounded so much better than the Wilson Sabrina x system you guys posted. It's that combo of the audio research 9 day and new Mac 901 mono feeding the tube to the mids and highs and solid state to woofers. Best of both worlds. Doing that in a good size room as well. One could mistakenly think the sound was coming from the bigger speakers near the b&w! A lovely terrific angelic voice to show this system off! Well done! Glad to see her in the comments getting praise and selling cds who said the CD format was dead?😀
I am listening to music on closed over-ear headphones at home and what's always missing is the spacious element of the music. But that's solved by these excellent recordings of you. Best of both worlds and very nice to get an impression of what top of the line audio equipment sounds like. Very interesting indeed! Thank you.

There used to a stereo store in San Rafael that carried the 801's fantastic speakers. Take a fair amount of power, but have real punch. A very simple, massive system. They weight several hundred pounds each.

B&W are the best value in high end speakers hands down. I bought my first pair of the original Nautilus 802’s way back some 23 years ago. 1998 if my memory serves me right. I subsequently moved onto Wilson Audio but thank goodness, held onto my B&W’s now used in a second system. I never cease to be amazed at the sound they produce within that price point. A friend uses speakers that are more than twice the price point (a revered Italian brand) and they don’t come anywhere close. I can only imagine what this redesigned model must sound like. Thank you for sharing. PS: I’m hoping to order the CD through my Nephew who resides in Melbourne.
Tolles Studio. Wie meist aber viel zu viel mitschwingende Flächen der anderen Lautsprecher im gleichen Raum. Daher natürlich auch der tiefe Bass. Liegt auch am Mikrofon mit dem dieses Video gedreht wurde. Man hört sehr schön die Änderung der Klangfarben beim annähern und sich wieder entfernen von den einzelnen Chassis. Ich hab es mir in HD auf die Anlage gestreamt und über die C275 und A65 und den DP67 als Digital-Wandler von Accuphase und den B&W 802 d angehört. Natürlich war ich nicht live vor Ort. I have a set of the "entry level" floor standing. BW are incredible sounding speakers.
That B&W tweeter is hard to beat. I can hear those cymbals like I was next to the drum set!
