Going to pipe this into my hi-fi reference system and see what it really sounds like. My audiophile wife just walked in and says that sounds really good what is it? LOL!!

@@coguglielmi I've heard other demos and the Nautilus sound very exciting, realistically defined and transparent, as well as very rhythmic. In addition to the turntable in this demo, it's probably the fault of the classé that was never a reference paired with the Nautilus, very few times have I seen anyone who liked classé with the Nautilus. It's just not a good marriage.

It’s always interesting to see what people do, what gear they use, etc. It’s some commenters effusive language about how great it sounds that I commented on. It makes little sense to evaluate sound quality based on a compressed TH-cam video so comments like that is - in my mind - simply based on expectation bias.

Not being critical,sadly i couldn't afford any of that set-up,but you'd need to have some special kind of living-room to be able to integrate their design into it.
No you can’t because it’s playing through YOUR speakers or headphones. There’s no way what you hear can be even close to what the speakers sounded live in that room.
I don’t understand how anyone watching, and not least listening to, a setup is supposed to be able to evaluate for themselves the quality of the sound on TH-cam, when it’s recorded, compressed, and then played through a pair of PC speakers, an iPad, etc. The whole idea is absurd and falls totally flat logically.
Mic is far to be perfect. YT packed formats are not that bad, as it shows overall. I think no sense to publish records of ACs recorded in such conditions and equipment. I'm still sure B&W Nautiluses are better than average ACs.

If it weren't for vinyl, which has a slower, more analog sound, it would probably be exceptional.
Same listening feeling 40yrs ago with Grundig super hifisystem box2500 + ADC ZLM cartridge on 1st. Issued record, w/o any monster cable

As a listener I am aware of that it is not the same thing. But I think it is moore fun to watch these videos with audiorecordings...
Try using high end headphones. They will sound great with TH-cam
