Lovely sound with the Burmesters. I have these snails in Porsche silver, although admittedly these dark blue are (ever so slightly more) aesthetically pleasing

The audio signal must be getting converted/compressed/etc somewhere along the way via your system's connections my dude, because I'm listening to this right now on a pair of HD-6XX headphones connected to a Schiit Modius DAC & Lyr 3 Amplifier -- And my god, with my eyes closed it sounds just like the band is walking around me while they sing/play... The direction the audio is coming from is VERY clear.
Dear audio friends! The real succesors of these are not the B&W speakers...but the ones are created by the legendary Laurence Dicky (the creater of this Nautilus!), the Vivid Audio K1! In the K1 He thought forward this concept and bettered the drivers and the sound! I know, I've got one pair, and those are my favourite loudspeakers from the different pairs I have in my collection. Even more striking visually! They never sounds harsh or fatigue!
Dicky actually wanted to add a passive filter, but he got sacked because it took way too long. I am running these with a passive cross over and 2 Bryston amps.
