Jesus, at 11:29 you make up around 0.7 seconds to the guy ahead in one braking zone / corner. If you count a couple corners before that too, its around 1 second. That was amazing
so i've had an experience JUST like that first race.... gokart racing and a typical race for us was 20 laps on an oval dirt track racing stock light. ended up having many many cautions and did 35 green glag laps till finally a green white checkered... ran out of gas last turn in first place... finished 3rd.
Same thing happened to me last night in the nations championship. Gr2 at Fuji. Misjudged fuel went an extra lap before pit and ran out second last corner. Went from 2nd to last (16th). Was awesome. Clawed way back to 9th. Was easily going to win as well. Oh me oh my.
The exact situation happened to me when I was flying through the last corner to take 1st place when I ran out of fuel in my 919, 2nd and 3th where right on my tail and I came 3 across the line but it was a very good combination

After watching your GT Sport Series for a while I finally downloaded the game. Brand new to it so I'm not going online yet in case I mess up some races for people. I'm not using any assists, TC etc and I'm using a controller and tbh I'm not doing too badly but remember that's against AI, don't know what my pace is like against actual people yet. My main weakness is I don't really know a lot of the circuits so sometimes I get caught off guard if there's a corner I forgot about or a braking zone I missed but overall having a lot of fun. Will continue with campaign for a bit, maybe dabble in a bit of multiplayer soon! Having so much fun!

Ouch. In that second race, if you hadn't lost those precious couple seconds by cutting the grass, that would have been a 5th place finish. Just needed to fuel save a little more...

The Austrian has no excuse for that kind of driving. After 8 laps, he can't claim to have missed his breaking point. I like the snooker Q ball concept 😂
Drivers in the Oceana region are using handbrake in qualify times, at interlargos through the tight bits. Do you ever use this tactic. I am trying it does help to turn car in.
I was one of two (I think) 908s in my race... I rage quit after I got pushed wide while on the outside of the banked corner. On lap 9, so that should give you an idea of the race I was having. I hate this track so much. PS RIP your fuel
