This is about the standard I was having at the middle of the week. Stuck in the back of high lobbies, get a group I can race with and I get these guys swerving in the braking zone and the ever popular 130R brake check. Come down to the lower lobbies with a spare account and enjoy the fun

@@alix6028 hi mate basically during the braking zone you you be commited to your line. I.e. if you take up a portion of the track when braking to take s corner, you then can't move to block someone

at 5:50, that was most def 100% his fault. Its amazing how many people in both games and real life, people can't take responsibility for their actions and blame others for their stupid decisions, or lack of awareness. You made the right move to follow through, he tried to tuck in or even tried to def and just made an extremely dumb move. I had this done to me in real life in indoor karting once and the guy tried to make a claim he was in the right. Upon review of the footage, the Marshalls ruled in my favor, that I had position on the racing line and he cut in on me. Keep it up, mate. You are in the right.

GT should not only ban you, but hit you where it hurts. He should lose his car. He totaled it. It's wrecked. He should have to earn a replacement. And if you cause a wreck in multiple races, you should lose your license and have to earn it back.

His awareness rating as you said was actually 100%. He knew exactly where you were at all times his Clean Race Craft Rating on the other... he's beyond sub standard. You should review the replay following him after that self fail and see how he did with other drivers. I saw he dropped down a bit more after regaining at around 4th place. If I'm right you'll have some additional content for tour next Dirty Drivers video. I know I have a dirty replay for you from last weeks mx5 races at Big Willow. This adamzzzzz dude showed his filth by double blocking on the straight. Changing positions in braking points and ultimately attempting to send you in the wall to prevent your fair pass.
Multiple moves in the braking zones and no spatial awareness. All on him.

Another thing! from a simracer to another, i was analyzing your racing line the whole video. In the first “snake” sector, i noticed you turned in just a tad bit early every corner, i bet if you aimed for a more late apex, i know you could gain more speed and get a higher exit speed on the last couple bends, you might have been able to overtake on the outside of the last long left bend!
I have done done this many times, its very unexpected since you can get a much higher exit speed then the opponents and still be able to run by them on the outside.

Someone did that to me a while ago at Blue moon. Weaving around, moving in the braking zone, changing directions mid corner and pushing me into the pit wall. I managed to get past him which he didn’t like, he pushed me and himself into the wall and he got the penalty for that. Got a barrage of abuse from him afterwards saying “i’m an idiot and should learn how to defend properly” (him weaving about is properly defending? 🤷🏻♂️). I told him “ i managed to get past you which you didn’t like, grow up”and he tried to report me (nothing has come of this). You’ll always get these kind of knobheads who think they’re the Dog’s Bollocks and are superior to everyone else whatever you play.

You get one move for positioning. This is a rule in a lot of motorsports. It’s also the fastest option as lateral moves scrub speed, obviously. Also, as we saw here, you end up pit maneuvering yourself while trying to “block”.

That was a NASCAR mentality performed in a Touring series. You can't just block every move and expect the driver behind you to check up and give you space. ESPECIALLY when going for the lead and they are there(inside the rear quarter panel).

As someone who's only recently got into Sim Racing with a wheel, I know I make mistakes, but this Adamzzzz guy is a complete tool and unbelievably salty, you were in the right dude.
basically he was unhappy that another driver outwitted him (not hard) so was determined that you should not pass him , don't know why you got a penalty as it was his fault.
You're wrong on one thing his awareness, he was fully aware you were there he just got angry he couldn't bully you into the spot.
Driving etiquette is important. Make one move and don't go back across the road. He clearly didn't learn his lesson, but if he watches this video, perhaps he will.
Bravo for taking them up on their charge and uploading the video. He was either way too aggressive or not using his "radar". Either way, he was totally in the wrong on this. He hit you and the "Dutchman" whenever there was a pass. He sealed his own fate.

As a Brit...I can confirm. The Island is FULL of salty "Its your fault not mine" attitude.
I only ever did two races in GTbefore being fed up with multiplayer, both ended pretty much the same way...
I started third in a Tesla for my first race at Catalunia, stuck to my line the whole race, never hit or squeezed anyone, and ending up second, with 1st about 4 seconds ahead. Somehow, the guy i passed for 2nd from Argentina, thought i was being WAY to aggressive, as i passed him by going on the inside of him when he missed the braking for a hairpin by like 50m, almost sticking it in the barrier on the outside!
The second race was at my favorite track in GT Sport: The Nordschleife! The race was in GT4 cars, me driving a Porsche.
It was three laps, and i incredibly qualified 1st, but hit the curb too hard on the inside in the first corner during the first lap, running wide, so i dropped down to second for the entire first lap, while maintaining a gap of about a second to P1, while P3 had dropped almost 6 seconds behind because of their own battle with people behind, so i wasn't under any pressure from behind... I figure out that the German i'm fighting with is evenly matched with me on most of the track, but he can't keep it smooth out of the corner leading out onto the long straight, so on the final lap i stay as close as i can just before that point, and when he swerves around after putting a wheel on the grass on the outside of the corner, i safely navigate around him, never coming close to hitting him. After the race, he somehow thought it was my fault he lost the lead, by forcing him to make an error, by pretty much being his shadow for three laps!
EERIE: Adamzzzzzz was at fault. Just watching the first lap and how he drove should be a sign that he should not be at that level of racer or one in real life. After he collided with Rikson66 @ 5:50, he became the slower vehicle. He should have let you pass and since he tried to force himself into a space that was clearly not large enough @ 5:52, the penalty should have been put on his time. If that was real life, his racing permit would be revoked.
You can tell from his driving habits earlier in the race that he was an aggressive driver. Trying to put you into the wall mate.

Dude literally tried to ram you into the barriers(you had nowhere to go) and is so stupid he doesn't even know that the front car hit on the rear wheels will be the one spinning 99% of the time.
Also, as you said, in the first lap he already showed he doesn't know how to behave on a track: you can change lane once to defend but you can't zig zag to block who's faster.

when two cars make contact, look at the direction they move. It demonstrates the transfer of energy and who's at fault. In this case, it was the other guy. Also, he wasn't defending, he was weaving back and forth slowing himself down in the process. If he was faster, you wouldn't have caught him after that mistake where you tapped the wall. If this were a real race, he would've been black flagged for sure.
Rules state that it's a no contact sport which means if anyone is going to pass you, you must allow them to go past. It also clearly states that you shouldn't be driving side to side which he clearly did at points.
I've found daily race C this week to be a mix of some incredibly close and fun racing and unfortunately some of the worst driving possible. The slower speeds give people more opportunity to think about making some of the stupid moves and blocks moving multiple times across the racing line.
Agree mate, had 4 or 5 really fun races last night, close and fair, the ones you don't mind not winning because it was the best you can do. Then you get a twat like this pop up!!
I love the lower category races with tight racing in equal cars. The MX5 is goin to be fun for a long time my only thought is Suzuka in slower cars gets a bit long and 8 laps is a lot especially if there is not some kind of fuel/tire strategy involved. The MX5 at Goodwood, Sardegna C, or Red Bull Ring would be a gas!

Its all very simple.. once the dutchman was on his inside, he is committed to an outside line for the corner and must give stay there until the line is clear.. diving back inside without even a glance would get him an unsafe driving in the real world.
And accidental contact is one thing, but no way your previous contact w/ him was accidental.
In short.. you are good, he's a tool.
That guys driving reminds me of Magnuson , basically blocking and making his car as wide as possible

I stopped counting a long time ago, but getting penalties for other driver's action is common place. For a time I thought it was my fault, but after watching videos of EERIEISSSS, Super GT and David Perel who all had this happen to them, too, I started saving and analyzing replays of my races. My conclusion:
The penalty system of GT Sport is still broken!
@@PatsFanGermany it is dude. The game itself is fantastic and I do love it but it spoils all fun and makes you angry when it happens. I was well into my B licence and had 2 races and got punted from one corner to the next and kept getting penalties for it. (My fave whilst being on track and being Tboned off a car that hit the grass went off and came on sideways. 3 second penalty for that 😠)I went to a C licence. To say this is annoying is an understatement. That's with S rated drivers too.
He was driving like a donkey. He was all over the track trying to block, and when he messed up, he tried to mess you up. When you go wide like that on a turn and muck it up, you don't cut back across the track like that. He binned himself.
Just for clarification for everyone else you are allowed to move in the breaking Zone however you are not allowed to make your move and then react to the person behind yous move. that is but we call a no no
It was his own fault. When you or the Dutchmen are next to him, adamzzzz tries to ram that car off the track. When his car spun it was by his own dirty actions. Just poor driving and poor judgement.
