Little radio etiquette thing, use “say again” instead of “repeat” if you missed a command or call out, because in the case of strikes (IDF, CAS, MPF, etc.) repeat means to literally repeat the strike in case the area is still a threat. Otherwise dope vid. Really liked the tunnel work. Very COD campaign like. Can’t wait for this update on the main game.
Honestly, I have WAY more than gotten my money's worth out of this title as it is, especially given the pre-release price. Why not pay less now, and get the official release free later? The stable releases are exactly that, stable. 1033 is opt-in only, for people who like testing the latest tweeks and providing feedback to mold the game into the experience they are looking for.
This game feels so very much like a modern take on 2001 ghost recon and I love it so much. Creeping through the woods, scanning Ridgelines for enemies, dipping in defilades, watching lines of fire. Yes it's buggy compared to other games, but it scratches an itch for me very very few games can.
Yep. The sad thing is it will never be as commercially successful as major titles, but I'm glad people are still making games which don't attract 13 year old zebra-camouflaged, golden-body-armour idiots.
@@oskar6661 While you are correct that this type of game will not be as successful as AAA releases Like Call Of Duty, It is also true that this style of a game does have a decent demand for it in the market, and I'm sure the Ground Branch devs are either in or are poised to be in a solid position economically from ground branch. Now remember that Ubisoft has forsaken Tactical realism in it's shooters, and rather than innovate, they have instead aimed towards pumping out microtransaction fests with shoehorned RPG mechanics and battle royale modes ala Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Ghost Recon frontlines(canceled lol). They are hemorrhaging money, and very few people actually like those games. (I am aware that breakpoints realism mode is worth giving a shot now, next time it's on sale I might pick it up.) I guess my point is that while yes COD does make more money. The realistic tactical shooter genre is still a money maker, and in some cases may make more many than games that simply try to emulate more casual shooters. A cod gamer isn't to play a game like Ghost Recon Frontlines when he can just keep playing Warzone. Hopefully companies like Ubisoft can begin to understand that, and right their ship before they bankrupt themselves.
One of your guys did a good job with it, but when you're exiting a building and you know you have teammates out there, call it out. "One friendly coming out" or simply "Friendly coming out." Someone already pointed out about not saying "repeat" over the radio. And instead of saying "pause" say "hold" since "pause" sounds like "pos" which is short for position. Also, don't stop in doorways. It's basically one of those choke points that if the AI was smarter or you're playing pvp stopping in a doorway can get your whole team killed because all the enemy has to do is shoot at the doorway. Go through the door and go off to the side a bit to give your teammate room to also get through so there will be two friendly guns in the room rather than just one and you're not inside that funnel. Your buddy at 11:20 seems to have a pretty good idea of what he's doing. So he's looking up the ramp while you're looking down, if you or him step out you'll be risking friendly fire, so he suggests that you step out but turn to look up the ramp while he does the same and turns to look down the ramp, that way neither of you will flag the other. It's actually the correct way to do it as a pair. In terms of exfil, the best way often is simply to double back and go back out the way you came since you already cleared that route. Edit: I just realized your buddy says this. Seems like he's played many tactical games before, lol. And yah, never stop covering rear security, lol.

That makes sense, since several of the guys involved were on the original company which made Rainbow Six and the Ghost Recon early games (before it went full Siege-retard).
