- Breachers is the VR Siege game that was competitive enough at launch because you know, Siege gameplay but in VR. However last month they got a ranked competitive update that I had to document. It's funny, no it's downright hilarious, to me that this update exists. Honestly though it reminded me how fun Breachers was, I am not that bad at regular VR room clearing but playing with the basement navy seals of ranked mode is just fun to be an observer.

This was the first tip that really helped me with Siege especially: Aim higher. Headshots are good enough missing a ton of headshots is way more competitive than trying to win fights with bodyshots
I hate that about games like this and siege. You can shoot a guy five times in the chest and he can accidentally shoot you in the head and now you've lost that fight.
@@Scott.E.H this is exactly why I don't play breachers anymore. When it launched I thought it was awesome, but now I stick to the game that has never gotten this way for me, Pavlov.

@@cam794 i think what he meant was he doesnt like that players with bad recoil control and lose control and accidently hit a head shot and win compared to some one who is more consistent
I have a history for this game, thanks to you. Watching your first video about Breachers made me want to play it, and I fell in love with it immediately.
The game has a somewhat "pro league" now, which I am a part of. The depth of skill within the game has increased dramatically, and thanks to your entertaining videos, I am participating in them!

VRML - VRML is not VR Major League, but master league.
It's an esports organisation in which has branches to many games including things like Onward and Pavlov ( and the late echo VR ). It'd quite a high tense community but VRML is the definition of the main VR E sports league 7:55

I am not a gamer, but the surface of my cortex is frictionless. This video is one of the most entertaining I've seen yet, because you are bringing humor into some elite playing domains. Super fun to watch.
The cool thing about the competetive that through that the casual game, becomes much easier
Or it will end up exactly like siege where the skill gap just grows larger as time goes and people that actually play casually(with more than 1 month breaks) won't be able to enjoy the game anymore and the low player count will dip more
@@Darklord_tK Siege has way more issues than just the skill gap, with 99% of them coming from one of the worst modern studios Ubisoft.

Yep, I don't even play FPS anymore. I'm just not good and certainly don't have the time to play 8-10 hours per day like most of the sweats do in these games. I have a job and family. I'd rather just go for a bike ride stoned.

As someone who's played on the "Competitive" side of breachers, it's hell. There are people who spend all their time playing the game. While me and my group had pretty much worked the game down to a point, we didn't do nearly as much as other "teams." Most of the Competitive scene has come from other games like Onward, Pavlov, and Contractors, which had their own Competitive "Leagues." (Yes, there were actually community run competitive spaces for these games. Although they all were pretty corrupt and a lot of people literally cheated.)

honestly i subbed to you for evening show this. i would never play it but as a retired pub stomper in Siege myself i love that this is a thing and people are enjoying it. deff would be something i would watch live.. i could only imaging how sick this would be on a mainstage level! hope it gets the love and support it deserves and i hope the community is nothing like 6ix lmao

Pro tip: Don't crouch. Stand upright when peaking angles because most people will be aiming abdomen level, which coincides with ur head when crouched.
Wanted to write this as well. It's a habit I somehow can't get rid off completely. I can't remember but there must have been a shooter back in the days (long before VR) where crouching improved aiming!?
@@driflysh4597probably some older version of counterstrike? Although while it does improve accuracy it’s not always recommended if I remember correctly
*me aims for the head and someone crouching peaks me and instant headshots me* i don't think it would matter where anyone would aim

The VRML skin you mentioned at the end stands for Vr Master League. It is basically the main "professional" scene is most vr. And let me tell you low ranked like you were in is childs play.(I am on the number 4 team NA so I can say that). It is insanely sweaty. They have a youtube channel and stream matches of games(look up vrml breachers). Breachers is actually in playoffs right now.

Breachers is my new favorite game. It IS filled with plenty of people who are very verbal when they lose. AKA Children. But when you get a solid team, it's a blast of fun.
The fact that you didn't know that you can shoot through those walls tells us that you're not a good Siege player either 😭😭

If you plan on continuing to play this game then I have an irl trick for you.
When peeking, stand far away from the wall/corner you plan on peeking. You expose less of yourself and it’s mathematically proven that if two people peek the same corner, the one farther away from the wall will see the other first and be less exposed.
The motion sensor on the other side of the thin wall is brilliant.

Habbie, here’s a little tip. When playing Breachers you want to always have good eco rounds, meaning: save as much money as possible at least from first to third round. MEANING, I recommend completely skipping out on SMG’s and just try to go from pistols and rifles. More specifically I’d recommend Spectral to Vezin. Also when shooting you want aim for the head because the spectral is 2 shots to the head and the vezin is one from short to medium range ‼️
I looked into this game because of your original video on Breachers, haven't looked back. It has no right to be as fun as it is with the amount of goofy strategies you can take advantage of in a VR setting. (Me and the boys throwing grenades under doors the MOMENT a round starts)

The issue with games that only have a casual mode is not that the player base is super sweaty, but rather that the people who want to play competitively don’t have a dedicated mode so in a way casual is comp for them

So if you don’t already know if you want to peak a wall/doorway without walking out completely into view you can lean IRL and only your head will be in the doorway, you can check your position by looking at the small white square below you in game, that shows you the position of your body and feet in the game so if you lean irl and look at the ground and see the square that is where your body is compared to your characters head

In case you don’t now know, VRML is the Virtual Reality Master Leagues who hold tournaments for VR games such as Onward and Breachers(and maybe VTOL I don’t remember)
Fun fact: My best friend of seven years plays this game competitively for fun.

If you wanna play this game here are tips
1. Don’t buy. Jesper first round get a spectral or cyclone
2.if you are good with headshots get the Taurus
3.Dont spread out to far and get you team to have a plan
4. Always listen to doors and crouch around corners (for both teams)
When Breaching
1.dont be a one man band
2. Of your in a 1v however many always breach hatches and see if you can make it a 1v1
3.USE SIGHTS ON ALL GUNS FIND WHICH ONE FITS BEST
4.Smoke plantings can be useful in hideout
