Exactly oh let's lower the hp let's get under factory then tune it and claim that only 23 to be alot when most tunes bring 450 to 500 hp from factory turbos hahahahahhaba
I see alot of ppl hate the ecoboost. Fords real reason for not turboing a smaller v8 or the 5.0 is simply to prove that you don't need a v8 to preform outstanding. Yes I do favor ford but I honestly think that smaller engines and turbos are the future of the automobile industry
Josh Pollard I drove a 5.7 tundra 6.2 Ford and Chevy and went with the ecoboost because of how it pulls . So much low end torque its ridiculous how well it performs pulling my car hauler .
The reason for the smaller engines with turbos is simply to meet emissions standards, by 2025 all midsize trucks have to have an engine option that can hold 25 mpg I love the ecoboosts, people can’t fathom a v6 outperforming a v8
Ford just did it for fuel economy of a 3.5 liter "off boost/ not on the gas) to please the EPA. Really no reason to do it besides that. It does not get that great of gas mileage real world. My uncles 2019 averages 19 mpg.
The EcoBoost is well proven. They on Gen2 version. I dont know anyone hates on em.. even RAM/GM truck guys know it crazy powerful engine & near bulletproof.
I knew it wasn't but it shows that in this video just wanted to put it out there... the 6 inch BDS lift I just put on my F 150 comes with the correct blocks!
Thanks for promoting MPT, you guys are great for offering lifetime tuning but for the cyclone motor MPT is the way to go for your v6 tunes. If you need one badly using your BAMAforlife tunes are great and all but MPT is the best for your motor's health and performance. Keep up the good work.
Love the vid, good high point coverage. My honest reviews as a truck guy who did all this before and I plan to again on my new truck.... I did a “ level kit” and it made the truck aim upwards when you were driving... I endured a lot of cutting comments over that lol, never again. I’ll get the 2” lift next time. It just looks better!!! Also the door snap arm rest is awesome. Only issue for me it when I close the door it pops out. Most of all, I have to say MPT tune was a difficult one to deal with. Lack of communication and handling of trying to get my tunes was really bad. I will be trying SSI next time. the tires are super important, add the wrong ones and you’ll hate the ride and dramatic loss of MPG! I went with nitros last time and the handling dropped out, ride was noisy and MPG died! Lol They were not aggressive at all... so def do lots of research on the tires!
I ran MPT 93 Street on my 2011 3.5TT for a while, switched to SSI 93 5150 tune and it's so much better than MPT, Shifting is smoother, MPG's are better, and is noticeably faster, especially 0-60. As far as bolt on's go the Intake's don't really make a difference, I have the AFE Stage 2 CAI which is much pricier but Dyno #'s made no difference, def sounds better and slightly better throttle response. So far SSI holds the record tune only F-150 2.7 and 3.5 EcoBoost with 12.3 1/4 mile tune only, stock bolt ons! Crazy how quick these trucks are when you crank the boost up!
+Nic Bowers dude... I have a 2011... been tuned since 2013 I know all the pros and con's between LMS, Unleashed, MPT, LET and SSI, I have heard everything in the book and have ran 3 different tuners and my SSI tune is 20psi peak which is not as hit as their normal SSI 2 or SSI 4 93 tunes, people complain when they order a race tune from SSI and then blow their motor dailying it everyday driving like they stole it and then following the stock maintenance schedule when they are pushing double boost and then wonders why their engine blew... they are the record holding tuner... obviously they make fast tunes, you can ask for whatever you want and data log the shit out of it
Have you done the CATCH CAN add on? because the only negative I hear from most forums is the intake valve gumming up due to direct injection.....newest eco's have induction and direct injection NOW!
Although the light bar in the front cowl looks good you just cut the airflow in half for the turbos. People were centering their license plates covering the same cowl and burned up their turbos. Something to keep in mind.
GM had better start putting the 425hp in the 1500 as standard equipment or I'm gonna buy an eco boost. This comes from a life long Chevy guy. The eco boost will spank the 5.3. Been there. Allot of my friends are considering the same thing. Give us something GM, your killing us!
@@jamesavery6671 so buy the truck then spend the extra money on modding opposed to just buy the truck that already has what you need?.......... you sir are an idiot

Hey Michael, that is what I like to hear! Congrats on the Ford, and it really does sound like you got yourself quite the pickup over there! How did the Bull Bars come out?? - Matt
Why are people so against the rear lift? I had mine done this week, and i'll agree i wasn't a fan of the 2 rear WITH stock so I had them remove the factory block and put the 2 inch block back in. Looks pretty good. I ordered a set of 290/60 mickey thompson mtz P3. any input on those tires?
I see at 10:34 in the video it says the MPT custom tune is a "93 octane tune". Does that mean one must run 93 octane fuel in it? Highest octane available in this area is 91. So, if this is required, what is recommended to raise the octane to 93?
Looking for help please.... I have an ecoboost and was thinking about doing a cold air intake, downpipes and a catback exhaust. just to help it breathe better. Would one of these tuners work with the modifications? or are the tunes that are loaded into the unit for a stock ecoboost and therefore wouldn't be able to optimize the modifications i plan on making? would i have to enter in the modifications i made into the tuner before hand? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
I've always wanted to put a better intake on my F-150 3.5L EcoBoost. However, I have read that you shod not use an oiled filter because the oil may cool down the turbo to quickly and crack them. What are your thoughts?

I have a 2011 F150 Crew cab with Ecoboost. The ONLY thing that has been changed with this truck is it now has 20" MotoMetal wheels with Michelin tires. I understand the wheels, not being aluminum, would be fairly heavy but I am having a hard time believing it would affect my fuel mileage this bad. Recently Ford reset my truck for the larger wheels and after putting on 350 miles on the truck after the reset I am only getting 14mpg at the most. I DO NOT keep my foot in the turbo and do not race...I am 54 years old and just don't do that to this vehicle..( I have others I can do that to..hehe). Curved light vs straight bar is $100 difference. It’s is called a budget build. Get it? Also this is just an ad. People can do whatever they want to their truck. Want a curved light? Put a curved light on
This is not a leveling system.... it's a lift. You sir, are an idiot. if you do a "lift kit" you will lift the same amount front and rear. If you do a "leveling kit" you will lift a bit more in the front than in the back in order to "level" the truck.

WoW.. You can't tell me you guys didn't notice the intercooler sitting right in your faces when you installed the light bar. The thought didn't occur to ANYBODY that you would be blocking damn near the ENTIRE air flow to it? I'm guessing therefore none of you know what an intercooler is, and what it does. That's dangerous when you've got control of a vehicle and tools.
those strut spacers are dog shit, i have a bilstein 5100 kit with tuff country tubular UCA's, pretty hppy with them, used to have a daystar shit strut spacer and wondered why my ball joints were shit
This is laughable you blocked the intercooler airflow for a stupid useless light when led fog lights do as good and the one on the roof and factory is 365 hp 420 lbs you lost power you barley gained anything you screwed up if that bottom light bar wasn't their then you would've had more power and second of all theirs tunes putting these trucks into the 450 500 hp and more so 388 is not impressive that's 23 hp more then factory sorry not impressed
Blocking airflow to that intercooler with a light bar is always a great idea! lol
Exactly oh let's lower the hp let's get under factory then tune it and claim that only 23 to be alot when most tunes bring 450 to 500 hp from factory turbos hahahahahhaba

It’s safe. It’s much the same as putting wheels on the truck. Not safe only when improperly done
Lol budget
MY FRIEND INSTALLED THE LONG LED LIGHT ON THE ROOF LIKE THIS DUDE HAS AND IT WHISTLES SO MUCH ON THE HIGHWAY HE HAS TO REALLY CRANK THE TUNES ON HIS C.D. PLAYER TO HEAR THE MUSIC...I RODE WITH HIM AND HE WAS RIGHT...DO NOT INSTALL THE ROOF LED ON THE ROOF LIKE THIS VIDEO HAS!
Shouldn't have put the lift blocks in the back.
Too bad the tires probably rub during articulation off road.
was this a 4wd
what lift does it have
and size tires
@@NotALlamma Did you watch the video?
@@Andrew-wi3tv what light bar is that
👍
Yet note that you can never replace the sound of a v8
Josh Pollard no but it will sure out run and out pull the 5.0 all day and the 6.2 is just a gas hog

The Air raid cold air intake is okay but, I'd rather have a K&N 63 series Aircharger cold air intake. It makes more horsepower than the Air raid.
No it really doesn't
Does not look level. They should of not added block to the back. Should have just left it stock. Looks the same just added lights
LOL... BATTLING THE GROCERY STORE PARKING LOT
Stores a hatchet...for those road rage incidents...lol!
Knowing the owner of this truck, you're probably right. lol -Justin
@@americanmuscle Good idea...hope like Hell the other guy doesn't have a gun.
Too much rake. Not level
Stock wheels are soooo much better
Why did you go 2" all arouond? There is nothing more stupid looking than a 4x4 stink bug! Either go up or go down but get it level!
That nose dive is horrible..
Light bars look stupid
so what they did was make it just another lame truck
how much did the upgrades cost in all
