This is what she shared in this video.
    1. Hydrate - drink lots of water
    2. antioxidant - green tea (sachet)
    3. healthy fat - avocado, olives, nuts, eggs.
    4. Cleanse - Cetaphil gentle cleanser
    5. Moisturiser - Cerave Moisturiser PM
    6. Sunscreen - Obagi Sunshield Broad spectrum SPF 50 Matte. she used it everyday even when she is indoor.
    7. Tretinoin 0.05%. She started using when she was 22, she is 37 now.
    8. For dry patches as a result of using tretinoin, she dab Vaseline on the patches using q-tip. She also uses Vaseline on her lips.
    9. Castor oil around her eyes.
    10. Garnier - micellar water to remove makeup (dual phase)
    11. She does get a bit of sun to get vitamin D.

It' s been more than 2 years since you posted *THE ULTIMATE TRET VIDEO OF YT* I already used tret with antiaging purposals (it came into my life for acne and it stayed) but your video made me 🤯 and opened my eyes. *I DIDN' T NEED A 10 STEPS ROUTINE* like the morning one I had. I came back here today to tell you that the process has reached the final goal. It' s been a progressive reduction of an unnecessary layering after having aplied tret the night before. How nonsense was this and how blind-brainwashed I was? 🤦🏻‍♀️ Simply, *THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU* ,my beyond adorable gelfling🧚🏻‍♀️✨

As I get older, (I’m 48) I’m drawn to a more simplistic way to living. This goes for every aspect of my life. I’m exhausted by an over abundance of things, tired of elaborate skin care routines and more focused on living a life of quality, in both mind and body. Your mother and father are prime examples of caring for their health and living freely without limitations. We should all strive for that 🙏🏼💗

i want to share a tip to make green tea. Instead of steeping your green tea sachet/ loose leaves in hot water, you can simply use room temperature water. This works for any type of tea.
Place 2 sachet of green teabags in a tumbler (i prefer borosilicate glass tumbler), fill up the whole tumbler with water and place it in the fridge. In 1 hour, you get a tumbler of cold brew green tea. Very refreshing on a hot day!

We are about the same age! I’m 36. Yes I think it’s rude for people to say you had work done, your lack of facial expression etc. I’m the opposite, I’m an exhausted preschool teacher on ten years LOL but I’m extremely outgoing in public. People make me excited, nervous, and drained! Haha! I’m very bubbly! Bubbly but exhausted. My mother uses retin a and her skin is beyond gorgeous like yours! She’s 62. I debate using retin a... I have very clogged prone skin and have always wanted to go the retinol route- but too worried about the purging. I do nothing but jojoba oil now- for moisture and cleanser. I am noticing my face changing but most likely the lack of hydration I give myself daily! I also don’t use sunscreen 🙈 I want to start a retin a but I can’t get over how processed it is. The BHT, the concentrated dangerous level of vitamin A, etc! I do tons of beta carotene like carrot juice and sweet potatoes!!! 😂😘

Hey Jen if you would lose 15 pounds, bleach your spotted skin, lighten your eggplant colored eyelids and undereyes with makeup, stop putting Filler in your face so that your mouth pulls up like a puppet on the sides, fix the skinny left side of your upper lip and wear green contacts, you would much better looking. Mike. Also...work on your shiny face and big pores, the Camera Filter does not hide them on a big TV screen. The thumbnail of you at 22 years old you were much lighter colored and much thinner. OK bye thanks.

You should bleach your skin, get rid of redness you are really irritated looking, aser off your brown spots, bleach your eyelid skin & skin beneath your lower lash line, whiten the whites of your eyes, laser to shrink your pores & erase the tiny scars you have here & there, thin your eyebrows just some maybe 40% to look feminine too manly looking, cover your grey hairs, lose 20 lbs. face & body are a little too chubby & weight gain is common among older women so it makes you look older see thumbnail when you were 22 you weren't so fat, cut the salt in your diet it bloats your face & eyelids big time, eat less fat high fat diets contribute to all cancers Google it, stop using filler your mouth is a ded give away you use filler you've got Joker Mouth see Meg Ryan, shorten your eyelashes they bring down the outer corners of your eyes & age you (see thumbnail when you were young your lashes were normal, wear green contacts, & tone up your shoulders upper body looks post menopausal no muscle no definition, the left side of your mouth is still uneven. AND PLEASE GET RID OF THAT RED SPOT ON YOUR RIGHT SHOULDER THAT SHOWS IN TANK TOPS IT LOOKS LIKE A BRUISE.

However, guys, understand that Asian genes are always that ways ( younger / delayed Ageing). Ageing process is dependent 90 percent on your genes and 10 percent on how you take care of yourself.
I follow this : avoid all the "S" like :
    Sun
    Smoking
    Stress
    Salt
    Sugar
Just like it's important to know what to do for your skin, it's equally important what not to do for your skin. So all the " S" must be avoided if you want great results for whatever efforts you are putting in. I'm 35, Asian.

Hello! I buy it from an authorized Obagi reseller in my area. Tretinoin is available by prescription only, and I get prescribed it by my uncle (he's a dermatologist), then I fill it at whichever pharmacy has the lowest price. Every year the price varies. It's usually over $100 a tube, which lasts me about 16 months.

You are my skin inspiration! Could you show us how you apply the tretinoin please? Do you apply it around your eyes or around your mouth. You have young looking eyes and mouth corners.

    • @JenniferMyers
      @JenniferMyers  5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

Oh my, thank you. I can just tell you that there’s not much to show- I simply use an amount about the size of my pinky finger nail. I apply it to my entire face. I did not start out putting it near my eyes; only after I gauged that my skin could handle it. I’ve also been using it on my neck for the past few years (again, this was gradual). Everyone’s skin is so different, I would never want to tell anyone what they should or should not be doing. I’m simply sharing my experience. Putting it around the eyes is something I do, but it’s not for everyone. I wish you well! EDIT__ Jane, I tried my best to film myself applying it for you. As soon as I can get the footage rendered, I will post it. I hope it's helpful.

Thanks. As for the suggestions, I'm very happy with the results of my routine. And also, as far as bakuchiol, it's a gentler alternative to retinol, and I much prefer using a prescription strength retinoid (as I have been for more than two decades) because its effects have been scientifically proven and personally tested by me with stellar benefits. Thank you for watching.

you should know..Hydroquinone is an inflammatory agent that can become allergenic after only *5 months of use* Hydroquinone-induced inflammation can cause *rebound hyperpigmentation* Pulsing hydroquinone use can prevent this, but quitting 'cold turkey' can trigger rebound pigmentation as well. There are better alternatives that are more efficacious and less injurious.

Hello! Love your skin and your skincare routine as to how simple effective and inexpensive it is. Watching your videos and started with retino A. Thank you. Also had a question how often do you scrub your face? If you do what facial scrub do you use? PS I am in my twenties and your skin is wayyyyyyy better than mine.

    • @JenniferMyers
      @JenniferMyers  5 ปีที่แล้ว +18

Oh! No! I never scrub my face ever!! I can't use a physical exfoliant of any type, otherwise I would literally strip my skin RAW. It's a no-no! Because I'm using such a harsh chemical (tretinion) on my face, it would be way, way too aggressive to introduce a physical scrub of any kind. What I do is, in the morning, while I'm cleansing, I gently in small, circular motions massage my dead peeling skin away (it takes a few minutes to do this). And that way, my new skin is revealed. I am essentially getting a mini chemical peel every day. This is what makes Retin-A so amazing and powerful for anti-aging. New skin will always look more youthful than dead, dull skin.

Hi, i need your help. I have an acne prone, oily skin and very hyperpigmented. Im thinking to start using 0.05 tretinoin but i have a few questions:
    1) can i first use vitamin c serum, 0.05 tretinoin and a moisturizer in my PM routine or do you think it would be too much for the skin?
    2) if i use 0.05 tretinoin, will it reduce my hyperpigmentation too?
Thanks and your skin looks flawless and youre gorgeous xx

I finally bought my ratin a 0,025%... I am using it now for a week and my dead skin is comming off... I am happy with the results.
For beginners I woulds say please be careful, with this because it is a medicine.
I combined this with castro oil and I got alergic reaction
I also used to watch my face with paRticular brand face wash and I got allergic reaction as wel.
If I combine ratin a with my regular face cream due to dryness I get allergic reaction too
For beginners: Do not use anything else but Vaseline on your face
Keep your face wash products as organic as possible no alcoholic no chemical it will burn your skin as it did mine.
I personally thing once your skin is used to ratin a you can combine it with any oils or face creams

Hi there, Charley! I'm glad you found my channel, too! I buy my sunscreen directly from a local distributor (authorized Obagi reseller) who sells wholesale to a local dermatology office nearby. I'm not sure how else to obtain the large size. The 3 oz. standard size, however, is widely available online and in places which sell Obagi products. Get ready with me is something I can do, but I must warn you in advance that I don't do much in the way of makeup, if that's what you're talking about. I am very minimal! I can try, though!
