For me, there is no sadness.
For me, there is no happiness.
For me, there is no anger.
For me, there is no grief.
For there is only peace, and music like this, only amplifies it.

It is really special and makes me glad that something like the Cryo Chamber label exists. Some of the very best dark ambient that exists on the Internet, all together, trembling and potent in its atmosphere and emotion. It still baffles me why so few people listen to these wonderful pieces.

Don't forget Horror Music World. ;) Both upload this type of music. But if you want to be on the scarier side, then go to HMW.
Indeed, this music needs more attention from other folks out there because of the talented artists, and I believe that people should really dig in and appreciate this music.

where i live, no one likes this kind of music, they considered it.... boring, meaningless. but i dont think that is boring maybe because i'm depressive the whole time... i love it

When I started listening to this kind of stuff it was still in the hey day era of metal bands like Metallica Slayer Testament Sepultura and the like and that's the stuff all my friends were still listening to. When I started putting this kind of stuff on and playing it all the time they were like what's wrong with you? Lol. But I was already an avid reader of epic fantasy and I loved relaxing to mellow ambient music and reading. It just put me in such a relaxed contemplative frame of mind. I kept trying to show my friends how great it is but they didn't get it. Oh well, too bad for them.

I completely get it. My family, as much as I love them, are very much concrete thinkers. I am as well, but I also tend to favor the abstract, allegorical side of things, and whenever I bring up things that I like or think in that manner they tend to be confusing or dismissive. I've found people who do think the way I do now, and I'm grateful, but having that attitude come from some of the people you care most about hurts deeply.

i must say that most videos on this channel actually help me to cope. i suffer severe PTSD, have strong tinitus and i live in a very distressing environment and situation, and most of the mixes actually give me relief, at least for 1 hour or so. it's a very good balance of sounds / atmosphere / actual melodies and partially music, but never too much and no voices and lyrics at all.
it let's me feel my depression without suffering from it, thank you for that.

Amazing how a mix of various frequencies can be described as sad, happy, bright, dark, etc. We truly have a universal connection to this phenomenon called "music." When i want to feel energized, I listen to metal. When I meditate, it's binaural beats. When reading, it's classical. But this? This is just simply beautiful!

This is by far the best mood-setting music ever. Sometimes I feel the need to retreat from everything and everyone, including myself. I just want to disappear into a distant world where I don't exist, where nothing familiar exists, a world so remote and darkly enchanting as to make me forget that I ever knew anything else but this strange new eternity deep within my mind. Sometimes I feel so exhausted that I just want to sleep, and dream, and not wake up for a hundred years while everything I know passes into obscurity. Most days I feel fine, but after a while things pile up, and trying to stay strong takes its toll, and I just need to get away and be someone/somewhere else for a while. This music takes me there.

Your comment reminds me on one of my favourite movies... Do you know the movie "Angel's Egg"? I recommend seeing it. Dont watch a trailer or look up its meaning just watch it. It is an anime from 1985 and has barely any conversation in it. No character tropes, no drama, nothing of that crap. Beautiful artstyle and a soundtrack so beautiful i cant even describe it. You can easily find it on YT and watch it for free! This movie really is something else...

This is the first Dark Piano Mix that I'm listening to; to be honest, this music has so much to it, so much character, it invokes emotions that you would generally wouldn't perceive much, it is dark, at the same time it let's out that candle in the darkness, igniting a small light of hope, giving out a calm. It tells you tales in that environment when you close your eyes, with a gentle hand on a forehead, and you're simply drawn towards it, but not in a bad way. The music is intense, deep, dark and so peaceful at the same time.
One of the Best Music I've ever heard. Period.

No sane man should have seen it. Now he walks under the dark of night, with a cigarette at his mouth and all the exhaustion of the world on his shoulders. Funny enough, the key to beating writers block is to keep writing. Even if it’s pure nonsense. Think of the page as a wall. And your pen as a sledgehammer. Even if you don’t make a dent at first, keep hitting that wall and soon you will break through.

This is truly astonishing! Most of the stuff you guys post is of remarkable quality, but whenever something more classical pops out, like an instrumental ambient mix, it literally feels to me like a musical feast.
(I don't mean to say I do not enjoy the usual creepy apocalypse noise, but violins and cellos really do turn on some ulterior romantic drama dreamer inside of me).

I wrote a book a few years ago and had this mix on loop the whole time I was working. I listened to nothing but this mix for three months straight. The title of my book is "Walking America: A 10,000 Mile Journey of Self-Healing." Thanks for the mix! It helped to keep me focused!

I really enjoy the calming effect it produces. I also find that it helps me focus when I work on my illustrations. It seems to empty my mind of all the rampant useless thoughts, especially thoughts associated with the constant demands of other people. Sometimes I just want to be left alone, sitting in stillness with my own thoughts.
