One does not merely listen to CryoChamber, one fully experiences CryoChamber. Simon Heath produces yet another amazing mix offering tortured souls a dark and ethereal escape from reality. Great work once again!
You guys are my Number 1 go-to for ambient music to get work or writing done. Listening to your soundtracks - Aokigahara is a favourite - have got me an incredible amount of especially writing done. Maybe I will finally get around to finish those novels of mine. In the meanwhile I hope that you keep up the good work.
+Alsemenor I agree. And the small-community feel of this channel makes it that much more relaxing. No dumb comments to worry about, no pressure from a massive audience to deteriorate the quality of the music. It's pure, and almost like our little thing. But at the same time, I really think this channel deserves more recognition. I've told a lot of people I know (who enjoy ambiance) about this channel.
+Steve From Management Totally agree! Half the time someone tells me to look up "dark wind effect" or something and I just immeadiatly come here. Best sounds that give the ambiance and don't sound like white noise.
This is such a PERFECT mix. I occasionally do listen to Cryo Chamber mixes, I find them really fascinating. But usally I listen to them just onces and some month after I'd get a different one and hear it, and so on. But this has got so many great textures and sounds. Something I think I've been looking for, for YEARS. I'll definetely come back at this. It's mindblowing (and surely can be mindbending as well)!
This is such a nice mix. I've been following you guys for a while and am thoroughly impressed with your work. As an aspiring musician myself I can appreciate the skill and time that goes into creating these tracks, and can only hope that one day my work will have a similar sort of impact to its listeners. Its been a real rough week and this is exactly what I needed to get my mind in a better space, escape reality for a while. Set the mood for my writing, which carries the melancholy, slightly-onimous feel through its every word and every passing page. This is the kind of music that carries you on a journey; it drags you in, and it doesn't let you go. And for anyone not sure about Dark Ambient, not sure what its about, I'd encourage you to give it a try. You never know where it will take you. Keep it up guys!
This would make perfect game background music, but by it's self seems unsatisfactory. Perfect for atmosphere buildup but not really as music. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Still fascinating. Great job!
There are both passive and active listeners in this genre. A lot of people use this genre of music as a way of transforming their room to another location by way of background sound, others listen to it more actively, and others use it for sleeping. Take your pick!
As i walked through the dark forrest i seem to lost my way i hear the trees cracking slowly splittering. The wind was laughing the rain fell onto me I stop to catch my breathe Feels like my heart is gonna beat right through my chest Then all of a sudden. I feel faint an i crash to the ground There i stay i feel nothing my body stopped working What kinda forrest is this To possesse me to be reprocessed and to be feed to the forrest
welcome to level ∞

I thought of that the minute I stumbled across this
I got creepy chills down my back as soon as this started. I imagine being chased through a field now..
the perfect soundtrack for limbo
This scratches a deep, intangible itch in my soul when it has an allergic reaction to life, and I purr like a leapord for hours, or eons...
Maybe im freak but it really helps me to forget the world and makes me calm. Awesome chanel, im big fan. Thanks a lot!

+Alsemenor Glad to hear Aokigahara is one of your favourites. Hopefully we can all keep up the inspiring work for you!

+Thane Krios Flowers for Bodysnatchers runs from 04:12 -10:42. There is a set list up top that has all the artists on here. Cheers

+Java Red This particular playlist reminds me of Silent Hill: Downpour specifically, when you explore the town and there's no rain.
Great!
Takes me somewhere unknown, Helps me recover...Peace.
God, this is REALLY good...

+Anthony Rauscher ;)
9gag got me to the wrong side of the internet. Again!
hey friend same here! XD
Misleading title, but the content is great as usual
+Neo_metallum1618 yeah "Field Recording Heavy Dark Ambient Mix" seemed a bit too long, but field recordings was the focus of this mix.
+Neo_metallum1618
True
If i never knew it was Cryo Chamber I'd probably expect a farmer riding on his tractor and singing about a daisy girl
+Waleed Bin Alim well, when u read the title, I think about crickets and grasshoppers fucking in the bushes :D
Relaxing sounds as well
I still don't get why this is on a higher level than Merzbow
+Cryo Chamber What programs do your artists use to make their music? I'm looking into possibly making ambient music as well!
A lot of us use Cubase
Isn't this basically dark ambient?
Yes, with a lot of Field Recordings
25:53
