" Why?", she asked quitely. " Because you are mine now" , sinister grin escaped the corner of his lips. He started kissing her even harder, completely immersed by her. She could feel all his pain, all his turmoils and anger collapsing onto her chest. The dagger was carefully hidden in his coat, patiently wainting to feel the warmth of her blood. The next morning, antoher girl went missing.

Walking through those moonlit halls I stumbled about. The darkness itself felt suffocating as I approached the main entrance, I knew everything would end and that I would finally be free of this suffocating darkness. But then I heard a second set of footsteps that shouldn't have ever been there. This land had long since been abandoned due to the dangers of entering here but someone else was in the same hall as mine and their footsteps finally fell out of sync with mine. I had no clue on how to tell how long they had been tailing more or what they were doing here. All I knew was that I needed to get out as quickly as I heard their footsteps pace increasing ever since they fell out of sync. Picking up my pace I lost the sound of their footsteps again, they hid the noise with my own. Beginning to frantically run down the hallway I dropped a few books I was carrying for the sake of journaling old notes once I had left. Doing so I heard the sound echo through the halls before I heard it again. However, this time when I heard footsteps other than my own, there wasn't just one set. It sounded like a storm of people was approaching, and that's when I remembered the tale I was told before I entered this land about a beast that stole the bodies of those it hunted and used then used them to torment the next target for its hunt. I had unknowingly wandered straight into the nesting grounds of an ancient beast and I didn't believe I was going to make it out alive. But that is unfortunately where my story ends, and to whomever finds this journal next. I recommend you start running very quickly because the footsteps will begin soon. I can't promise your safety, but you'll have a better head start than I did before I wrote this in my dying breaths. - A Journal Entry From A Long Forgotten Researcher
