After you talked about how the reverse gear is different on different models, I was wondering how valets figure it out on the fly without messing up your car?

2:42 what is that box behind the rear axle? UK models don't have this. Also Why is there no front towing eye on USA models?
19marshall80 .. they should have given us a towing eye. A lot of US owners are complaining about it.

I did a 4,000 mile trip with mine. It handled it fine.

Lmao at anyone who buys a 5 door 'hot hatch' . You got stung. They're only released because manufacturers these days are sellouts. They know they'll sell more cars so middle-aged women who still do the school run will buy one. They are no longer designed with driving enthusiasts in mind. Adding 2 extra doors weakens the chassis and makes a heavier, worse looking car.
Right, because the Golf R is a wet noodle and just isn't selling 😆. You might be the wrong demographic for this car my friend but drive one, and five doors or not, there's few, if any cars in the market in this price point that match the fun factor.
@@lancemannion4113 only took 4 years to get a reply… I’ll admit my viewpoint has changed slightly now I’ve grown up a little. The Golf R’s, Rs3’s and Amg 45’s are all brilliant cars, But 5 doors look absolutely terrible on a Fiesta. If you need 5 doors, buy a Focus.
But don’t talk to me about fun factor and price. I’ll stick with my £3000 Renault Clio 182 thanks. About a 5th of the price of a fiesta, but just as quick, handles better, sounds better, looks better, better mpg, cheaper to maintain, less common… list goes on.
@@JMcKaySV well, as they say, to each their own. I've owned 81 cars in my 37 years of driving, and only two cars tick as many boxes for overall driving dynamics as the FiST. A Euro spec e36 M3. And a 94 Porsche 968 6-speed. And even those would have a hard time keeping up on a twisty mountain road.... Which, being up in British Columbia is quite prevalent, so I do get the chance to wind this little thing out as much as I can! I've had it since June and have had zero regrets. Unfortunately Canada doesn't get a lot of the European offerings (Peugeot, Renault...) so I can't speak to the car that you have, but nothing I drove in this segment compared, especially for the price.
@@lancemannion4113 having lived in British Columbia for 2 years, and dreaming of moving back next year, I can confidently say as soon I as can afford it, I’ll importing a Peugeot 106 GTi, best small hot hatch ever made imo. That saying, know of any jobs going? Haha
@@JMcKaySV well I can't honestly say I've seen one of those here and I don't know what the importation rules are but if it's over 25 years I think anything goes? My Euro spec M3 was from Japan and it was a 94. It would be cool to see one of those up here. As far as work goes, I guess it would depend what you do. But if you're motivated enough with the skills there's no lack of work in Canada
