This is the last year for this car in North America. If you want this quick, fun, practical little future classic, now's the time. All the bugs are fixed, and it finally got a back-up camera.
Correction: Production will end this summer.
This car, and other cars like it are not for you if any of your concerns at all involve a back up camera.

I got a se sedan feista and it hauls just without turbo I get 32 .5 miles a gallon and it handles like,a go cart it's light weight you can beat most cars of the line maybe not the whole strip but you catch them of the line it's quick
Me too dude. I love it! I've beat many cars on the line and in the whole race. It handles really well, just needs a little bit more power. I'm sure the St must be nice

Is the Fiesta ST a reliable car? How long will parts be available for it? Ford has great incentives going on, but the reliability scores from JD Powers and Consumer Reports are not good.

Yeah im sure it sounds plenty good... i bet where it falls off is when people turn bass treble etc all the way up then crank the volume... thats when im sure it may distort. For norman people it's fine

..Now I am in a 2015 Fiesta ST....and here in Canada we get the Recaros as Standard...and have to spend MORE...
*Having performance seats in a performance car is normal... I'm actually baffled why anyone would want entry level seats.*
I heard the ST is going to be discontinued, is that true? It's the one and only performance-oriented hatch in the subcompact class that I can think of here in the United States. Would be sad to see it go. I wish Honda would make a Fit Si with the 1.5T they put in the CR-V and Civic.
Ford will be making their final decision on if they will be bringing the next Gen fiesta to the states at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July. Which would line up with the Oct 2018 release date if they do.
Is this car reliable?
Great question. In general the Fiesta line gets poor reliability scores from JD Power and Consumer reports. Not sure if that is because of the transmission issues on the automatics. I really like this car but feel hesitant to spend 20K on a car that may not last. Also, how long will parts be available?

Thanks gold pony for the review I want one I have the 2017 feista sedan with the 6spd dual clutch it hauls ass even without the turbo because of how light weight the car is there like go carts quick nimble and are gas savers I get 32.5 in mixed driving

They both are the same in my opinion... Easy & fun to drive! 👍

you would get used to it... The general rule is the higher the hp car the more difficult it will be to drive manual in... I remember jumping in an 800hp Mustang paired with a 6spd and it definitely took me a little bit to get used to the clutch feel with that much power but you would get used to it if you got the RS. (which is an amazing car!)

this looks like the 2017 model, the 2018 is completly redone! the 2018 is a 1.5 L and the interior is completely different.
This is the 2018 U.S. Spec... It's different in Europe
oh ok, that makes sense. I actually like the Europian specs, of the new interior, better than the U.S specs. Thank you for informing me of the two different Country specs. Still a great car for the money.
If I were Ford I would send the next Generation Fiesta to Europe first. Do some de-bugging and research then refine the model and then bring it to the US.
Plus Europe needed the next Gen with the new engine for their environmental standards.

There’s a 2019 already redesigned in Europe. Ford really needs to get with the program and people need to demand there still be car offering. Like what would for be with no cars just SUVs. Start demanding redesigns. Journalist. 😁

This is NOT the 2018 Fiesta ST. This is the 2013-2017 model MK7.5. The 2018 Fiesta ST MK8 will not be for sale in the USA & Canada.
The ST will be 4 sale within the next months in my country (Netherlands) and the rest of Europe. Engine:1.5 liter 3 cilinder, 200bhp,
with cilinder deactivation. 3 or 5 doors, 8 inch Sync 3 system, full LED lighting option, Launch control, standard Recaro seats, 18 inch wheels, 3 driving modes, and lots of more fun! This is how the new ST looks:

This actually is the U.S. spec 2018 Fiesta ST... Europe has a much different version which is not here in the U.S. 👍
Gold Pony could you show a window sticker? I believe you are, in fact, incorrect, and this is a 2017. Unless dealerships are rebranding leftover 2017's as 2018's
Europe has almost exactly the same car as you show in youre clip, believe me I know, 'cause I own a 2015 ST.
The model you are driving is an MK7.5 ST which has been made from 2013 till 2017. Difference between Ami & Euro, we have a 3 doors, Americans 5 doors, Recaro's are standard in Europe, but none the less, pretty much the same car. Last year October the new Fiesta MK8 was released in Europe:MK8 Trend, MK8 Titanium, MK8 ST-Line & MK8 Vignale. And now the new MK8 ST has been released at the Geneve motorshow.
As I told b4, the video's show you the 2018 ST. Not available in the USA, why? beats me. So the model youre driving....2017.
I just ordered special ordered a 2018 fiesta st from the factory. So yes they are selling 2018's in America but the only differance between 2017 is a backup camera

the only gripe i have with this vehicle that really isnt even a big deal is that they changed the layout of the speedometer layout from having a full digital display to your older standard odometer look, again not a big deal but why yank that off for the US version ? :/ do love how they tucked in the sync-3 system though, not a fan of the tablet taped to the dash look in EUR

Oh boy, you got it wrong, it should be 3 cylinder 1.5L. With 3 cylinders working harder at higher boost, which means the engine is not going to last as long as 4 cylinders' engines.
