So happy to see the man with the hands on the show. If I may offer some unrequested advice, I’d recommend against the aggressive L/R panning of the mics.
Definitely shouldn’t have any music at all. Takes away from the conversations! I actually stopped watching because it was so annoying. Shame because I love both thru channels. 🤦♂️
This was brilliant Max. Meeting up with Andrew, another great watch nerd from across this side of the the pond. It's great to have some of the dry British self sense of humour on the channel. The watch reveal was a classic.... Setting the scene with the travel thing along with the birthday gift frim the missus along with the slow reveal was perfect, the A500! And yes it's the perfect watch for the occasion, the perfect digital GADA watch. Also a very good point made that because you may have an expensive watch it's not always the one that you 'want', this resonates so well with me. I can be equally happy with my F-91W or my Speedy.
Really fun and unexpected encounter with Andrew. love that you put him on the spot in a tongue in cheek way. Can't wait for part 2. Have a great time at the fair!
Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the amzwatch, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
Great episode! It's always fun watching peers roast each others' collections! One word of note though, please don't hard-pan the voices to left and right though, it's incredibly distracting. Looking forward to more episodes 😃
Thanks, Max, for another interesting interview. Nice to meet one of the gents, in the flesh, of the disembodied voices behind the microphones from the Watchfinder videos.
What a pleasant surprise to see Andrew on your show today. The way he talks and style of presentation is very engaging and entertaining. I imagine he'd be a great voice on a show like Top Gear. Tough choice you gave him ousting one of 3 great watches from your own personal collection. For me, I might have f*ed the Panerai.. not because I dont like Panerai.. but, the Luminor Submersible is the Panerai I like most. These are fun series of videos. Keep them coming!
@@WatchCrunchOfficial perhaps, though David Attenborough is a bit more old school and I know him more for wild life journalism. I find Andrew's style of commentaries contain analogies, metaphors and dry humor similar to Jeremy Clarkson from the afore mentioned Top Gear show... maybe, also, a bit of Kai Man Wong, too.. he has his own channel and thing going on now, but, use to do camera gear reviews on DigitalRev TV on TH-cam.
"I didn't realize how wide America is." I'm always amazed by Brits (like my wife) and other Europeans who are well-travelled but don't seem to understand just how large our country is. Good to see these two together talking watches.👍
"a journey of a thousand watches starts with your first Invicta".....my first watch was a gaudy Invicta pro diver given to me by my uncle.....you have no idea how accurate that opening statement was.
awesome episode, amazing to see everyday people outside their everyday jobs enjoying their hobby and bravo mr watch hands. i share a similar sentiment about rolex, the vintage pieces are so great, a time when rolex wasnt the stuffiness it is today
Love the content, the format and the vibe of these podcasts. The sound quality is quite good. Some constructive feedback: agree with the comment that the background could be a little lower still and suggest that the panning of the voices, while a great idea, is perhaps a little to extreme. Recommend bringing them a little bit towards center, with just a hint of panning. Keep up the great content and thanks!
Max, thank you for bringing on Andrew...nice to match a head to hand thing:) Since your occupation is officially out now, please, please move to Utah. We need neurologists and I will personally keep you very busy:) I too am in the medical field. You're an outdoor guy and will love it here......last but not least, I think it's time for an updated watch collection video. You teased us w/three of them, how about the rest? I loved you video on the "perfect 3 watch collection + 1." You should do more. Thanks for all you do my friend.
The audio sounds so good. It’s perfect and the music behind it makes it feel like it’s easy listening. I’m hoping other pod casts adopt these methods. Way to go & set that pace baby!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Nice to meet you max. I followed Andrew here. Nice to meet you. I have to say...when you grabbed the seiko, I knew your the same as Andrew, and myself. I'm going to enjoy your videos. Today I'm not being fancy so I'm going to wear my vostok amphibia with my modded 22 mm engineer bracelet with the "zissou" dial. Cheers 😊
Just a heads up from an audio engineer, for anyone wearing headphones or airpods , hard panning the speakers individual speakers to L and R tend not to be nice to listen to. For listenabiloty, do more 30:70 L:Center or R: Center
The panning is a little rough with headphones. I’m guessing one mic was recording to a left channel and the other to a right channel. Effects > fill left with right, fill right with left.
Unpopular take but, everytime I see a Rolex on someone I assume they aren't a watch geek, just that they made some money and want to show off.....unless it is a vintage GMT or something like that.....holy crap...you guys read my mind @7:53 onwards...
OK this was very helpful because I'm watching this with just the Rt headphone in and Andrew voice was not being picked up much, and I realized I need my Lt headphone haha
Thanks for all the content--keep up the great work, doc! Enjoyed the conversation, but hated the name of the game. #keepitclassy...please? By the way, I would have gone: 1. Subby, 2. Seiko, 3. Panerai. :)
Funny, my collection did start with an invicta (don't worry, it has evolved). Just like John Mayer said, your first 10 to 12 watches, you're gonna regret those, it's part of the ride.
I think we all expected him to say he was wearing a GMT Master. The fact that he’s proudly wearing a Casio shows that he’s down to earth & a true enthusiast!
Thanks so much for having me on! Great to meet you and a very enjoyable conversation 😊
What a treat! Thanks Andrew 😀
So happy to see the man with the hands on the show. If I may offer some unrequested advice, I’d recommend against the aggressive L/R panning of the mics.
I didn't notice until I read this comment.
Funny, I just complimented on that. I think that makes it more authentic and like in real life 😋
I was listening with one bud only and was wondering why I cannot hear Andrew at all...
What a great way to start my day - two of my favorite watch nerds having a chat! Nice going, Max! (and Mr Talking Hands)
Cheers 🍻
So glad Watchfinder has allowed Andrew his own media space. Max, can you just please get the music volume down a notch ?
Yeah the music was a bit loud and to be honest, not even needed. The content is strong enough on it's own.
yeah, slightly annoying
Definitely shouldn’t have any music at all. Takes away from the conversations! I actually stopped watching because it was so annoying. Shame because I love both thru channels. 🤦♂️
Personally, I don't think the music was as bothersome as I've perceived from the comments, but I guess it could have been a little more toned down.
Yes it's not that bad but a notch down would certainly help bring the conversations to the spotlight. 😊
Super cool to hear your also a doc, congrats brother!
Thanks dude 😁
This was great. Thanks, guys.
And good to learn that Max is a fellow MD in addition to being a fellow WC!

He's an inspiration!
Also pretty crazy we have watch youtubers touring. Big advancement in our little niche. Andrew is pretty cool guy
Neurology? That's awesome!! Collabs like these are so awesome to watch.
Thanks!
Never have someone on your channel that will blab your secrets lol
How did you find extra time 😅😅😅
Two of the smartest watch opinions on the web, together on a single video, amazing!
Really fun and unexpected encounter with Andrew. love that you put him on the spot in a tongue in cheek way. Can't wait for part 2. Have a great time at the fair!
Thanks Michael!
So cool to see you guys hanging out. Hope the America trip has been going well!
He’s the biggest troll in the watch business. Enjoyed the chat
For me, it's more his voice than his hands that make his videos special and unique.
👌
I just love this session...2 of my fav watch guys
Andrew is a legend with his creative reviews and that voice on Watch Finder.
Those voice overs are so cringe and annoying. Don’t watch his videos other than during pandemic when we had nothing to do
Great that Max could snag Andrew (a/k/a the Most Envied Voice on TH-cam) for this one. Great backstory on the Panerai locking mechanism as well!
He's a fountain of watch knowledge
We need to have longer forms of this!
Part 2 coming
Good
Really enjoyed this episode, two great guys just talking about great watches.

The David Attenborough of watches

Love this episode! Great interview.
You'd never see a footballer wearing a Casio. That's the nicest thing I could say about Andrew's choice.
Lewandoski might has somethings to discuss with you
Lewandowski with a golden Casio. Not real gold naturally 😅
That! Was! Fun! Cheers guys and thanks for that, really enjoyed it. 👍🏻
Really enjoyed this one. Nice format. Cheers,
Fantastic chat guys. Well done! Looking forward to more
Coming!
@@WatchCrunchOfficial Just texting with Miguel over at SoCAL Watch Reviews. Had no idea you guys knew each other. Great stuff man!
I could listen to you guys talking about watches all day.
Great vid! Nice to see this get together of my favorite watch reviewers.
Cheers Julian 😊
Two really nice guys. Liked the format...do more!
"a journey of a thousand watches starts with your first Invicta".....my first watch was a gaudy Invicta pro diver given to me by my uncle.....you have no idea how accurate that opening statement was.
That opening line is so true. Every single young collector started with an invicta pro diver 😆
I thought it would’ve been a Seiko of some kind

this is gold🥳, like someone else already mentioned, would be great if we get to have more
Part 2 coming

Late to the party and just watched this. What a fun treat
Great to see 2 of my faves together. I would choose the same.

Great vid. Two dudes that would be a great conversation about watches or anything else.
A pleasant surprise to see both of you chatting together. Maybe do another episode with Andrew on his channel when you visit the UK.
This was such a fun watch (pun intended). Thanks for this!
Love the Strap on the Seiko, can i ask what's it called and where did you get it?
Great episode. Thanks to both.
Nizar
This two guys, together with Evan from youreterrific are the the most enjoyable storytellers in watch community in my opinion
"squezzing activities" - "on each other" 🤣🤣🤣pure gold!
what a lovely feller; kind and soft spoken. good bloke.
Most enjoyable! Great little session.
Ever since I bought a watch from MaMaCoo , My question is if it's this hard to tell them apart, what is the point of owning an authentic watch?
Just a heads up from an audio engineer, for anyone wearing headphones or airpods , hard panning the speakers individual speakers to L and R tend not to be nice to listen to. For listenabiloty, do more 30:70 L:Center or R: Center
Brilliant! Loved every minute.
Two of the nicest guys in the watch world. Max- if you want a 6105 model, you should find an SLA 033.
The panning is a little rough with headphones. I’m guessing one mic was recording to a left channel and the other to a right channel. Effects > fill left with right, fill right with left.
Yeah fixing on the next one
Enjoyed every minute of this.
So glad you mentioned how much different straps can change a watch. What strap is on that Seiko?
I think it's from strapsco 😊
You’re a neurologist? I’m a NeuroPsych! So glad to hear that you’re a medic. 🎉
Cheers 🍻
"It's the cheapest piece of crap..."
"Wonderful, it fits you nicely."
🤣
Collection roasting is another new interesting perspective
Love seeing my fave watch TH-cam reviewers crossover, waiting for their Infinity War style super crossover
Ah Max is a doctor. Not surprised 😊
another great episode. The audio was kind of weird, however--was it done on purpose to separate your voices left and right?
Less panning on the next one
What's the strap on the spb237, just bought the same watch after watching this video. I need to get the same strap 😂
Not a fan of the left right speaker split though
Noted 👍
The squeezing part… love how you immediately cut to commercial...😂
🤣
Where is that strap from on the Seiko turtle?
Great chat. Loved it.
Wow…allow me to say hi, i’m a cardiologist, great to see what you do in your channel especially as a fellow medical professional
🙌
Why didn’t you turn Andrews mic on
Man this was great episode!
Thanks!
Ahhhhh. It all makes sense now, Mr. Neurologist!
A Neurologist... now THAT'S really Impressive. So humble with it.
This episode was way to short! Awesome, just wished it was longer 😊😊😊
When it comes to fine imitation watches, amzwatch delivers. I've bought from them several times, and I've never been let down.
4:45 Max just got pwned 😂😂😂😂😂

hi! which boom arm you using there? thanks!
Great video. Again.
You guys need to do that in a permanent base 😅
Really nice and interesting discussion!
Great interview 👍
You guys were both in Seattle!? Im in Olympia! I'd love to grab a cup of coffee and talk watches for an hour!
Really enjoyed this!
Awesome video. You 2 are real favourites and this was brilliant fun.
Ps can I please refer all my entrapment neuropathies to you?!
I'll refer you to a neurosurgeon 😂
This is good morning content!
Lol squeezing each other. I love this segment and damn, you look tall…way taller than TH-cam led me to think :-)
I'm a freak
What strap is that on the Seiko? Looks really good
Something I got off Etsy
Andrew the best watch you tuber hands down
Did Max apologize for his mistake and comments on the PRX video yet?
Not sure if it was a mistake or not but I really don't like having the audio panned left and right between the two of you.
Wow, the stereo/3D audio was great. I heard you two from opposite sides of my living room! That really made it much more authentic 🙏
