Went to Rolex last week to buy a watch. They said “No”
Utterly pointless watch company. Overhyped and over priced.

Funny thing is I visited a pre-owned watch dealer and 3 out of 5 watch trays mainly just had Rolexes. And most selling for retail price or under. So many being dumped in the grey market!
Go to Singapore, so friendly, and staff ratio to customer (me) was 5:1 😂
Guess you're not Rolex worthy, try buying a Tudor and a lady datejust 😂 maybe they'll change their minds.
I bought a black dial version. It was one of the the greatest moments of my life as I saved 10 years to buy that watch. I flew from Amsterdam to London and took a coffee after 3 hours went back. Now I can do a little research and hopefully find out what what she is worth.
How did you grow your portfolio to $55m, I'm impressed, I have a lump sum in the bank, the rates are not impressive so I'm moving it, what's your cash flow like?
I have a financial advisor (trader) she grows my liquid assets and I reinvest the weekly payouts back into real estate and long-term ETFs.
Sure, could you please share her name with me or any details so I can look her up online? Thanks!
She is well known as - Hannah Susan Jennings. please do your own research.
@@stevenorris1 Smart move, I love it, I have similar pattern for my cash flow as well.

The goat we needed
You are doing God’s work son.
Idk I wouldn't consider an IWC Portugieser Chronograph to be a watch you "should just buy" without a second thought... It looks a lot like a fashion brand watch and doesn't have any chronograph / racing / space history like many other chronos at lower and higher price points.
I second that sentiment
The best scripted videos of any blogger. AM is genius 😊
💯
"The work we love -- the hand jobs -- is what's needed to finish."
This is why Andrew is the GOAT! I burst out laughing while out riding the subway on that one.
It's worth paying extra for a high quality handjob😂
Perfect number of likes rn…. Few
Lol
It was the amber herd one for me lol
I came here looking for this comment
I am fortunate to have a small eight watch collection, my favourite is my late Fathers 1972 Seiko 5 with a blue face, my Mother purchased it with her first Salary working for MOD which was remarkable as she had Polo from three years old and spent her life in a Wheelchair, being a Woman in the 1970s in MOD was hard enough as it was, I had the watch serviced and cleaned, and it looks like new. ❤
Sounds like a fab watch and fab parents - a watch to be treasured over all others
Andrew Morgan is the Dave Chapelle of TH-cam watch personalities. You come for the watch recommendations, but you stay for the interesting puns and digressions.
Dornblūth is the star of this video.
I agree wholeheartedly, an absolute gem of a watch. One day….
Absolutely. I’m on the list. Can’t wait to get mine.
Didn't even know about this brand, first time hearing about it and intrigued
Best writing by Andrew to date. Simply awesome.
Reminders of Dave Allen ...... and that's one heck of a compliment Andrew.
Outstanding writing & a fantastic selection of watches. Particularly the (mostly) unknown Dornbluth. Best TH-cam content there is!
You and Teddy Baldasarre both put out a video at the same time. Yours is by far the most important.
100%
Especially when his guest was Mr Wonderful!?
Did Teddy walk around a cityscape in casual gear pretending to be a -short- male model in his new vid?
Great vid as always by Andrew, but to be fair Teddy's new video with the small brand pitches was FANTASTIC and imho very important. We need to support more independent watchmakers and huge kudos to Teddy for highlighting them! I highly encourage everyone to watch the video.
Always greatly enjoy content and particularly delivery in your videos. Now if only I had money.
Great job, and humorous delivery. I really didn't think Andrew would find success so quickly with his own channel, but I was wrong. I can't wait for a new post.
props to you for being one of a few that spelled "Tsuyosa" right
But can't pronounce it
Cool new brand on the radar: Dornbluth, thanks for sharing, I didn't know them!
I came to hear about the watches. I return each time to hear that funky bumper music
I just gotta say that you are one of my favorite reviewers on TH-cam. I haven't reviewed a watch in a couple of years even though I have purchased a few but I rather watch channels like this. Keep up the great work!
22 minutes of pure fun (and reconsiderations)! Thank you Andrew :)
Really enjoyed watching the video. Your humor is spot on!
“Just recently the media was very interested in a whole bunch of famous people wearing silly outfits.” 😂 😂 AM, you’re a gem.
Thanks a lot for keeping up the spirit!
Grand Seiko... That's exactly the color of the cherry blossom. The lightest pink possible, almost pure white.
Literally just bought a Tank Must today! Even more beautiful in person 😳
What size?
You did not.
The IWC Portugieser Chrono is under appreciated and under valued. Such a beautiful classic piece.
You truly take scriptwriting to another level......
That Royter is gorgeous.
Great video as usual.
Fab wit....
at home and doing my daily winding of my Dornbluth. Long wait but worthwhile
“The last one is definitely a watch on this list” 😂
it's also the 10th watch on this top 10 list (shocking!)
i love your videos, specially the script!
And as great as the Alpine Eagle, it's greatest attribute is the fact that Chopard know which way the VI should go.
Made me chuckle more than once, a great list and I agree.
I jumped and had to rewind when you gave a shout out to Hyun Bin and Crash Landing on You. Don't get me wrong, I love it. I was just completely caught of guard, LOL.
As someone married to K-drama fanatic, I had to do a double take, too.
The description of the date window on the Tudor made me laugh uncontrollably for a full minute. You're the GOAT watch guy!
This is hilarious stuff. Thank you. I must get me an umbrella stand before even considering a Cartier.
Love to see Dan Royter's work on here, still regretful I didn't pick up one of those when they were a little cheaper than they are now. Stupendous value though.
Happy you showed the dornburn. A new watch company id never heard of & i like the look of immediately.
Always hv good laugh watching ur watch reviews Andrew. Awesome video.
Love my Royter watch, awesome to see it on the list!
I have a Dornbluth Regulator. A fantastic watch. Awesome to see them in your review, Andrew
That Seiko and IWC are my choices! A real beater and one for the moments!
I was planning on visiting a Cartier AD today. I woke up this morning and watched this video. Went and bought the Cartier Tank de Must. Beautiful! Now what do I do Andrew? Awaiting further instructions…
Nice! Which version did you get? I have a solarbeat large myself and it's my most worn watch by far. Got a few straps for different occasions and I'm set.
@@tudorserban111 The black dial. I put it on and it was perfect - exactly what I was looking for.
Your text just gets better and better
A great video!
I have a feeling that he is a huge fan of Crash Landing on You! (Itis a good show)
Keep them coming!
I picked up the SRPK89, the new black SNXS from an Australian AD on a VIP off for AUD399 or USD265 a week or two ago and it has barely left my wrist. It is an absolute joy to wear on my 7.5” wrist 🖤
Great job Andrew
The cheeky banter is hilarious! Keep up the good work!
Andrew’s watch comments are making me believe my wife has been slipping psychedelics into my afternoon cup of tea.
😮
Things are starting to get very weird with a very dry British sense of humour.
How long before he makes comment that is wildly inaccurately miss interpreted by an American 😮.
Who says she’s not
@@AndrewMorganWatches since going independent you’ve created some of the most authentic and batshit crazy watch content on TH-cam.
I know you’re a sci-fi author but I’m beginning to believe you’re actually a physical construct of your subconscious mind trying to find a satirical metaphor of an outsiders view of the absolute circlejerk of the current watch industry where everything has a price and nobody has any values.
Keep doing what you’re doing because it’s amazing 🤩
These AMW videos are a classic template for any who wish to engage and hold an horological onlooker’s interest . I’ve listened to you through ’Watchfinder’ and am impressed with your development of your content and presentation of same . Your offerings of details about any of the watches you present are cocooned in a meticulously precise swaddling cloth of childlike love and wide eyed enthusiasm for the makers and engineers of the watches , and a dreamlike sense that we all share the same desire (to know the history and development behind the smallest components in ANY watch) . Having listened to you probably about seven years ago and inspired by your enthusiasm, I bought a Dornblüth . Your enthusiasm was not unfounded . My enthusiasm for the Dornblüth upholds and sustains yours . You’ve reawakened my desire for another . L gooru
nkuwan You are so well-informed about luxury watches. You've obviously done your due diligence and the comparison to the US is very informative...because of course, I live in New York. thank you very much
Awesome video. I love Monta, oak and Oscar, studio underdog and Baltic. They are awesome. However I also agree that Trafford should have taken the cake. Great video.
This is one of the best videos I've ever watched on all of TH-cam.
I went for the Shunbun about 1.5 years ago and while I still often wish that it was a bit more pink it is a fantastic watch. Dornbluth sounds pretty cool, and had not heard of Royter before but now I am interested!
Didn’t know I needed this info this early. I did.
Andrew: I’ve said it before, you are the king of simile! So well done. Thank you.
I like your videos, they contain humour, are well written and expertly delivered. This video was no exception, except the funniest thing you said in this, was the price of the Cartier Quartz. That made me laugh out loud. Well played. Good job I don't need to go to the bank for a mortgage.
I'm reading New York Deep, and instead of my own voice inside my head, I'm hearing it in your voice instead. It feels odd, but still works for me. So far, so good.
Reference crash landing on you in your channel... you have earned my respect on a new level Andrew 👍
Always delightful
I think pick of the bunch is a dornbluth
Special
Dornbluth wow! What a buying experience if you could go to their shop. And Royter’s detail is fascinating. Two new brands for me. Thank you sir.
That IWC really stood out, we are used to the glamour and the luminance of the Grand Seiko..!
@ 19:32 "The hand-jobs is what's needed to finish". Classic Andrew Morgan. I'll still be saving up for a JLC Master Control though.
I just watched a 12-min ad about a shitty game. That’s how much I love your videos. You deserve more engagement than you get. Keep it up, man!
love my royter and nobody in industry beats dan on customer service
Im glad to see Andrews' unhinged comments are continuing
Your amazing eloquence is far impressive than all these watches combined… keep the videos rolling
Wow that Royter DR-02 is nice and first time in ages I have not heard of a brand before in the watch world. Anyone know what type of cutting/engraving tool he was using in the video? Cut like butter through the metal from 18:08 onwards.
The creme of Milton Keynes! hahaha!
Chopard Alpine Eagle and a Santos de Cartier Green
All the watches you could ever wear.
Amazing content I appreciate your humour 😅
I did welcome the Bun. LOL The dial is a different color(shade) in different light. Regardless, it still is mesmerizing. I hope to travel to Deutschland next year and I may seriously check out the D. Dornbluth factory.
alongside from the Shunbun, you should consider the Grand seiko SBGA 415 G - Taisetsu cold winter snow 😍
Good advice, and so cleverly written, I have had laugh out loud twice. And over a double Espresso, lost count!
love they way you said "it's shanban time" and then shanban all over the place truly one of the shanban moment of this era
I bought the Chopard a few years ago with a 35% discount, fantastic watch. On the wrist it looks as good as anything you can buy. The movement is the only place where you can see where the money has been saved over the pp or ap. Never had even a tinge of regret buying it.
Andrew, this is your punchy-ist and BEST video yet! Love what you’ve done with the place! I laughed.. I cried, and sometimes I don’t know whether to take you seriously or not, but I’m fully entertained regardless! Cheers
Your writing is top notch 👏
Dornbluth is so good. I am shocked how few people know how good they are.
The Shunbun looks fantastic.
Cartier Tank, the preferred watch of Jim Davidson - just saying 😂
Having 2 dreams,
1st to start my watch brand.
2nd Andrew Morgan 🐐, the first to review my brand collection.
I consider this comment as the biggest step to make my dreams comes true 🤞
Why on earth Seiko continues to put Hardlex glass in $300+ watches is beyond me. The Citizen Tsuyosa would seem to be a slam dunk.
As for the Cartier, quartz on a two hander is a heaven - made match❤
Have 3 Seiko. Seiko Chronograph (20 yrs), SKX007 (8 yr) , SKX009 (9 yrs) all Hardlex, not a single scratch on the glass.
love the shout out to Royter!
Great vid
“Tudor: Our entire function in life is to groom future Rolex buyers…”
19:32 Uh, phrasing, Andrew. Phrasing!
Hamilton, C. Ward, R.G.M., Casio, Timex, Bell and Ross... T)
Just got the SRPK champagne and I LOVE it!! Got it for $300USD
Traska Venturer II GMT
Miyota movement, scratch resistant bracelet with micro quick adjustment, sapphire crystal, rotating inner bezel, screw down crown.
As for your list, I think the citizen is amazing value for money too.
The problem with traska is that although the value proposition sounds amazing, the watches look dull and the bit that made made them slightly aesthetically interesting (colours) is now tired and done by everyone else much better
In 2000 I was new watch hunting that and the IWC Portugieser was on my short list. It made it to the semi final. Iirc It was msrp £3,195 which was about the same as the concurrent Daytona with the Zenith el Primero movement. Back then the Daytona was the only Rolex you couldn’t walk into a dealer and buy. The rest you could get 9% off. How times change. I went in another direction altogether but still love the Portugieser Chronograph.
I love my Rolex watch. Its working past 12 years with precision not one second off. I am lucky.
AMAZING as usual 🕺
Great video but some of these watches i wanted a good look at and all i got was fast moving b roll of the side lol
And honestly the only one on my list is the blackbay. But thats just me. 😂
Ever heard of a pause button?
For the price, I would go for Tudor here. Looks nice and has tech.
As soon as I have a thousand pounds that my wife doesn’t have a better use for, I will be getting a Seiko Alpinist GMT. Just love that watch and IMHO offers amazing value for money.
Yeah that belongs here.
As does the seiko presage enamel spring dial....why is noone talking about it?
Another informative and hilarious video, even if you did throw shade a few times at Omega. You are my favorite watch channel guy (sorry Teddy) but ouch, the shade when talking about Tudor and Rolex, I may need another ice pack as I am recovering from skin cancer removal - no wait, my extra strength Tylenol please! I will heal from the few Omega jabs - another bandage may help. Thanks Andrew!
I’d have the shunbun but I really want the hands to be polished rather than brushed. Believe there would be a big legibility issue however.
Begging the question -- How does one manage to accidentally kiss his father-in-law on the lips?
Look, it's hard to see in the dark. We've all done it.
I’m really trying not to think about it. I have daytime nightmares after watching this video😂
Were tongues involved👅👅👅
You sound guilty... ??😂
Drunken New Year's Eve party. Ask me why I know.
Those punts are awesome!
Any comment on Cartier using Selitta in newest Santos?
