BMW R1200GS on the beach!

The Freshwater track is an inland track which connects Teewah beach with Rainbow beach. Mainly used when the beach access from Rainbow is not possible.
I rode to Tewantin ferry, deflated tire pressure to 20psi just before the beach access, rode to Double Island, then Fresh water track to Rainbow, had lunch and repeat the same track again. It sure was a great day!!
This 2008 GS1200 is way too much bike for this type of riding, but it cruises along pretty good. Although, I had to do the last 30km with a front flat tire after hitting a root, not fun on the soft sand. Likely I could pump it back up and get home safe.
Queensland has some amazing scenery and we are so lucky to be able to enjoy them while riding our bikes.
