    Please note that the ferry is cash only. This is my go to place for my tree hugging fix. Nice video.

      You right, Maybe I should have been more specific saying cash only, instead of just paying on the day !
      Thanks a bunch for the feedback :), This was my first time travelling this way and I think I will use it more, now that I know how easy it is :)

    Nice video Chris! Did you get a chance to camp on the beach front there at Cooloola?

    • @AquariusTraveller
      @AquariusTraveller  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not yet at teewah campsites but it is on the cards. 👍
      My only issue is we need to purchase a portable toilet to camp there and we are running out of room in the 4WD to fit it with all the other camping gear.....lol. 😜😂

    Can you drive along the beach from double island to rainbow? Or do you have to come back and go via sealed road?

    • @AquariusTraveller
      @AquariusTraveller  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@karavoznaks yes you can but only when the beach is clear.
      I actually drive from rainbow to double Island in this video
      th-cam.com/video/7b-6VobGN6E/w-d-xo.html
      There are often trees and debris on the beach to the waterline and the mudlo rocks section has taken many cars.
      However if the beach is blocked there is another way around through the freshwater track and we drive that on the return, in the video I just linked.
      😀

      so sorry for the wait, We booked on 4 separate occasions to get in but weather and other things kept getting in the way. But we have it on the list and hopefully the next few months (Winter always has less rain...LOL). Is there something you want to know, I could possibly answer as we did go through a few sites, just didn't camp :)

    So how long does it take to drive from noosa to double island point?

    • @AquariusTraveller
      @AquariusTraveller  ปีที่แล้ว

      Takes about 1 to 1.5 hours (one way) after you hit the beach to Double Island, but that will depend on the conditions, tides, traffic and how much you stop ( I stop a lot for photo's ...lol).
      Getting from Noosa itself is debatable on the ferry, busy times and how long your waiting in line for the ferry (since it isn't booked). Took us roughly an extra 30 minutes to 1 hour ( we only waited 5 mins for the ferry).
      I hope that helps :)

  • @tonyliu3403

    Is there dog allowed ? thanks

    • @AquariusTraveller
      @AquariusTraveller  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tonyliu3403 the cooloola coast is part of the great Sandy national park. I think there are dog friendly areas in the Southern section at Noosa North Shore, that aren't part of the Queensland national park rules, but not past that or to double Island Point.

    used to be a fantastic place to go but now there is just too many people . If your the type to want to get away from people this is not your place to be going.

    • @AquariusTraveller
      @AquariusTraveller  ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends...the first time I went was only last year and there was only 5 other cars around for the whole point.
      I guess the timing matters, but you're right....it can get crowded 👍😁
