@@jadenngl 250,000 Wedges, 0.2h per assembly, 50 assemblers, = 1,000h each, if they run 2 shifts that’s 500 hours, or roughly a month. Then add in shipping times and you get to 3 months
Just had my custom taylormade irons and wedges. The only thing that was correct was the Taylormade logo. The length, loft, lie, swing weight were all wrong and the Grips had been stretched. Have taken them to my club guy and he has sorted them now to be completely correct. They now play beautifully and are stunning clubs. Sadly my wallet doesn’t think that though.
Would a tour pro want his swing weight to be dead on from the hosel or added weight with lead tape from the back of the club. They are two different things when messing with the swing weight. I also guess spine alignment before epoxy does not matter to tour pros? I would personally want all my clubs to kick correctly. Crazy stuff
I bought a 3 wedge set of these and - unlike all my other Taylormade clubs, have had the hardest time getting used to them. They are so different from any other wedge ive played, its gonna take me months to build confidence with them. Good shots are REALLY good, but bad ones are CATASTROPHIC. As a 7-9 handicap I'm just used to a little more forgiveness i suppose.
Imagine doing all that for me and then watching me duff, thin and shank the hell of it round the course. My GW goes 30 yards, 90 yards or 140 yards 3 foot off the ground. I never know which one of those it'll be
You really do got a dream job, making, playing and testing new clubs n also meeting the players, what more else can a golf fan ask for 👍
Absolutely love seeing these videos from you Trottie. Just need some more
👊🏻🧅
Very interesting to see how these are made and put together to a certain spec 👍
You guys did a great job making the mg3 high toe. Congratulations.
Took him 7 mins to make that Wedge .. takes about 3 months for me to receive my order lol
Well he’s obviously not making your clubs 😭
@@fluffycows1670 well i mean if they have a bunch of workers and each one takes like 20 mins give or take it still shouldn't be taking this long

This ^ Not a lot of people understand this. Not to mention supply shortages
These started out of spec! Good luck! 🤞🏻
Im jealous of these pros....😄...must be nice to have the latest and greatest just handed to you! Nice video...👍🏼
Great videos and always love trotty input 👍
Collin will win Fedex Cup because of your great assembly
Wish I could have this professional technician Mr Trottie work on all my clubs, even though I don't use Taylormade.
Love this series
Love the club building videos!
I need these in my life 😎👌🏼
Super cool informative video, thank player👍🏼
Great, now I know how to put my wedge together in my tour van
Thanks for sharing these videos 👍🏻🍺🇨🇦
The high toe 3 wedge is excellent

Once I can figure out what the pro cess is, I might be able to understand the club🤔
This is the type of dude to let the whole pub know what his job is indirectly
Why is distance shorter on these compared to other wedges?
No shaft spine alignment?
Which loft & lie machine is that on the van?
Best content.
Doesn’t he use one masking and two double sided on his left hand?
I learned a lot

why did you do grip before gluing? seems like it would be far easier to line logo up with the head in place rather than before gluing?
Need the grip on to get the swing weight correct
@@swordjo you can easily tape the grip to the shaft to get the swing weight in place. That’s how I’ve always seen these tour trucks do it.

You should do some of tigers clubs
Wasn't it honey and black?
Not a fan of the color, not sure I like the big wedges either...I have always used more traditional wedges. Might give them a try

So he finally ditched his Vokeys?
