    These are some of my favorite videos to watch. I would love a serier of every club for every Taylormade tour pro! It would be even cooler to get additional info from the players on how they got to those settings. Obviously there is a lot about feel, but that makes it even cooler.

    I'm two years late to this, but this was really cool to have a behind the scene look at what goes into building a club for one of the best players on Earth. I thought it was extra cool that you are using an induction coil to heat up and cure the glue in the head of the club. Also, never knew that a weight went inside the neck of a club.

    Good to know that only the best golfers in the world get perfection and not the average consumer that actually spends there hard earned and pays overs for TM products :)

    • @BuffaloNickel9
      @BuffaloNickel9 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly... unfortunately I think it may be true with some of the experiences I've had with TaylorMade...
      they're very eager to get you fit and have you spend your money ordering the clubs. but if you have certain preferences anything you want it's not c common or custom, it really takes a long time and you get passed around through the phone lines talking to goon after goon who make it difficult sometimes...
      For example my irons are 1 degree flat with a much lighter D3 swing weight and 1/2 strong... yeah it took me three different times sending them back to TM to get these things done and I still never got the swing weight below D4...
      Now, on the other hand trottie and all the builds done and fittings at the Kingdom are absolutely perfect! It's what I dream about... having my bill done by the knowledgeable guys on the tour truck or anyone with their talent..this gentleman in the video knows exactly what he's doing and damn he's good. he will give you whatever you want even if you changed your mind 10x...
      Wish we could get the same service Trottie gives to those being fitted at the Kingdom!
      wish trottie could train some of these goons on the phone who help you with your orders as well...

    • @jwoyton3
      @jwoyton3 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BuffaloNickel9 how did you figure all these specs out. Ive never seen swing weight in a fitting?

    • @BuffaloNickel9
      @BuffaloNickel9 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jwoyton3 good question...about swing weight specifically its all feel for me... I can pick an iron and tell if it's running a little heavy for my swing.
      I have a faster transition and a shorter, quicker swing...for example, think Jon Rahm or Tony finau...
      For me, a lighter Club head better suits my swing speed and tempo.
      fortunately I already knew this going in, and asked for my swingweight to be atleast D3 ..
      He never really touched on it at the fitting, just said okay we can do that and fit me for everything else...
      Ask your fitter about it next time you get fit...
      I have a feeling they're not going to have much to say about it and you're right swing weight is not talked about very much at all during fittings I have had.
      it's a shame for folks who may want to see what different weights feel like..
      Same with lie angle to an extent. My opinion they need a more precise way to fit lie angle as well letting the player try different lie angles at the fittings. If it appears that player may benefit from a different angle, that is ..
      None of this applies to the Gentleman, Trottie. in the video. he does an excellent job and is as thorough as you could possibly get. Which is why he works for the pros
