I just made these and they are amazing!
I noticed the texture was the same as a scone, do I took the same dough and did the following:
    - Added two tablespoons of cane sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
    - rolled the dough into a square 1,5cm high and cut it into circles with a glass
-brushed with milk and baked the same way
Amazing healthy scones! 2in1 recipe! ^^

Ok guys. So I tried this recipe an hour ago. Let me tell you it’s a winner. I guess the oats m using or the spelt flour are a bit different as I needed more 2 tbs of each until I got a nice soft dough. It was surprisingly easy and so tasty. As a trial to see the life shelf I kept one sealed in a bag at room temerature. Couple in the fridge. 3 sent to my sister😂. Everyone should try it. You wont regret it. Thank you so much for sharing. A couple of breakfast ideas I'm so excited to try out:
    - avocado and tomatoes (the onion in guacamole upsets my stomach)
    - light cream cheese or cottage cheese and smoked salmon on top
    - egg benedict and asparagus
    - peanut butter

I've just made them. Actually just a half of the recipe bcz I doubted how it's gonna turn out.
My Gooood, it turned out GREAT!!!!
    I'm just speechless....
Although, my Greek yogurt might've been a bit runny so I added a bit more spelt flour, but regardless-this is just as you say, at the next level. I will always make these.
    Thank you.🔝
In these 14 years of my attempt to have healty food I do not think I've ever had success with the "buns". This is my first success to make something that actually can be a sandwich.
    Awsome.

These were surprisingly good! I ground my spelt and oat flours, and added about a (1/4 cup of cherry yogurt and 1/4th cup of sour cream to equal 2 cups of yogurt. I used what I had on hand. Other than brushing the tops with avocado oil I, otherwise, followed the instructions. I had spelt berries, but had never used spelt flour. I really like these, and ate them dry (no butter or cream cheese) and the cherry yogurt gave just a touch of sweetness.
Can't wait to make again! Thanks for this recipe.❤

Hi guys. Just tried this recipe for 2nd time, this time it was successful because I used cups instead of grams, as the conversion is not right. I ended up with 500gr of yoghurt (2 cups), i used Skyr as it was the thickest, so the dough was a lot stickier, but eventually I made the bagel form and they are delish. :)
So everyone outside US, use cups whatever the grams you end up :)

Mine was a bit more dense than a regular bagel because I added 150gr of flour because the yoghurt made it too sticky to work with (even though it wasn’t runny at all). But aside from that it tastes divine. I love that the exterior is crunchy and the inside is soft. I love some crunch in my food! The only thing I’d change is cut it in six rather than eight to make bigger bagels. Thanks for the great recipe.

Today I had bagels! 🤤 The Greek yogurt was still too wet after half an hour of draining. Maybe it would have been better overnight? 🤷🏻‍♀

Just made these but had to modify instructions greatly. Use 1.5 tbsp of corn starch and 500 ml of heated Greek yogurt. Use fork to mash it in, takes a few min, then put leftover flower that is in bowl in middle of dough repeat until gone then bring together with hands on large cutting board. Divide into 8, make balls then thin long peennesses

Bravo! Stupendous! Unbelievable! Moving into the bread space, eh? What about a healthier pretzel? However as the self proclaimed king of flax, I must let your viewers know that flax seeds must be ground, even if only coarsely. If you eat them whole they're very likely to pass right through you and then you won't get all the amazing health benefits from the omega 3's, fiber and cancer fighting lignans. Love that the everything seasoning was homemade, though!

    • @HowToCookSmarter
      @HowToCookSmarter  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

Thanks Dad! Yeah, I wanted something healthier for breakfast, so it was a logical choice... healthier pretzels, sure why not. Thanks for the tip regards to grinding the flax! Well, to be honest, the first idea was to make a classic everything seasoning, but I couldn't find any black sesame seeds, and poppy seeds, when I started my filming I realized I bought grinded poppy seeds, so flax came in accidentally, anyway I'm glad because of that. Go oats, go flax!
