This video should be the default explanation reply to any client asking "you can do that quickly in post, right?"! The amount of work required for a 30 sec intro like that is astonishing, yet most take results like that for granted and think it can be done in 5 minutes! Great job Zebra Zone!
I learned and am terrified by the amount of effort to learn everything. I truly enjoyed and appreciate your content. I am amazed by the quality of your work
I remember watching that intro in complete awe, and it helped me determine Resolve as my main workspace platform for my video work. My Ryzen5 processor is collapsing just by watching this on TH-cam, but hey, there's not much that can't be achieved with the correct balance of patience and brainpower, cheers mate, awesome work!
That whole After Effects part with 100s of layers, that is insane. To be honest, I think that part specifically would be much better accomplished using Resolve's Fusion. With nodes. Would save you a HUGE amount of time. This is exactly the kind of stuff that node workflow was made for.
Hey man, could you make more deitailed tutorials on how you make videos? The atmosphere you create sometimes and the way you present your topics/stories is impressive! Also you seem to have a lot of know how about color grading and setup/scenery choice. I'm sure you noticed the positive feedback to your videos in the comment section and if you would upload more educational content about video making I'm sure you could be one of the most successful youtubers in that regard.
I would be interested in seeing a similar VFX comp in DR’s Fusion page. Just to compare and contrast the capabilities of each companies compositing software! As well as seeing which software does it with the most efficiency... I have not yet found a great video comparing the two in depth with a more sophisticated comp like this one.
Yeah, I know the pain of stacking hundreds of images and layers on top of each other in AE. Your final result is soo impressive - the strenuous work and patience payed off!
Pre-composition is your friend, it allows you to apply effects on all objects within it so you don't have to copy them over. If you have several duplicates of the same precomp then changing one object within it will cause change to all copies of the precomp as well. Not only that, you can also preview effects more efficiently because not everything will be rendered at once. I'm honestly surprised you didn't know about all of that considering your execution was so fantastic! Well worth the effort m8
Absolutely brilliant. I'm a musician with no experience in After Effects - this all made perfect sense to me. Thanks so much for sharing your process in so much detail (and for emphasizing, once again, that music and sound design are not just icing-on-cake components of a professional result).
I’ve learned that what I know it’s nothing, but with more years, more project and dedication I can improve dramatically. The only issue I have with this improvement it’s till that time, everything probably will be animated on different programs. But I recognize mastery when I see it. Thank you for each keyframe of your life spent on this video for fun🙏🏻
I don’t know why I’m watching this video if I would never be able to do something similar 😩. How ever I appreciate a good video. Is always a pleasure to watch your videos 🤜🏻🤛🏻😎
Tu es d'une grande inspiration, tes vidéos sont parfaitement bien ficelées et c'est une évidence quand on voit le travail de fond qui est fourni. Un réel plaisir à regarder à chaque fois ! Au top !
I appreciate your efforts with your sound design...audio always seems like an afterthought to me in a lot of videos but you took the time to kick it up a notch...bravo!
I never expected an explanation video about that video. I remember being blown away by that video. It not only takes talent but also a level of creativity that I, for one, don't possess.
You are a genius! That's what the end product looks like when outside-of-the-box creativity meets excellent technical skills. Keep up producing great content 💪
So glad it gained a lot of attention, it was totally worth it! You are an amazing professional that prove us all that with enough effort, amazing results can be achieved!
Resolve is amazing. Literally cut my rendering time from 2hrs 5 mins from Premier to 20 mins in resolve for a 10 min video. I could say it resolved my rendering issues.
i trust you A lot ... that made me thumbs up to your video even before i watch it... / and then i watched your video and that made me to write my comment... yes i learned from you one thing today ... take it to second level with extra steps even for just small intro that mostly wouldn't even understand how much work it took you to make it ... Man wow you are above some of my youtubers that i watch every day
On your previous comparison video..I was only looking towards your editing. And I was not listening carefully what you were saying about those software's. Damn dude..you are just amazing..!!!!!
When I saw the intro for the first time, I was delighted and I knew that it takes work, but I didn't know that much :) I was very impressed with the Intro. I just did not understand why you "bounce" on the chair so much - now I understand that it is the wind ;)
You are an amazing artist and I'm looking forward on seeing more fo you on YT... AND this processes videos are even more amazing than the original video itself. I'd suggest you keep doing great videos and showing later their process... As mentioned before in the comments, no problem repeating. WORTH IT
I believe it was created in Fusion. The betrayal, brother jaja. I moved to DR due to your video, even now I knoe it was created in AE, Im very happy to start my travel to DR/AE. thanks again
Thank you very muchh for the tutorial and effort for making these types of videos! It really helps for someone who strives to get better in VFX as well :) Happy New Year!
Feedback? Instead of the images of yourself in the left window, have the last image of the last program in there, premiere in Davinci when in davinci and davinci in premiere when there, also a cross dissolve between the image that moves to resolve 16, additionally motion blur on the zoom outs to make it more dynamic, and one last thing... when you transitioned from the logo would’ve looked cleaner to have the circle match up with the one that was centred on the screen.
He doesn't upload much... But when he does, you know it's gonna be a banger.
yeah. These types of videos deserves million to billion views.
Thank you !
After all... WORTH IT!

Awesome, seems straightforward and easy enough. I’ll have to try this with my next video. 🤣😂

Your commitment to us and going into details because you got asked so many questions is beautiful😭
Fascinating to see your process here. The sound editing on your voice (10:00) makes an incredible difference!

Just watched you Resolve vs Premiere video and was hoping you made this. Subscibed.
I’d love for you to try and recreate it in fusion, or something of the same caliber that you can use for another video
