This country is emerging from a period of misrule and abject misery & poverty. You all need to join together and rebuild the much needed international confidence. The solid infra structure is in place built by all Zimbabweans of all diverse races & nationals during the colonial era. Where there's a will, there's a way. Put your money where your mouth is. 😉

    • @jerryhall9348
      @jerryhall9348 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually ,the chinese dragon should be called "Long" (in Chinese pronunciation). The chinese snake-shaped "Long" and the western lizard-shaped "dragon" are completely different things, different conception. It was just a wrong translation between English and Chinese from begining, and just like the wrong mixture of "Fenghuang" and "Phoenix". Some Chinese don't like their positive and emperor emblem being associated with the western evil creature, but apparently they cannot change the status quo.

    Trade is beneficial when both sides get what they want, America would rather dump old clothes on african markets or pressure them to buy American agriculture while requesting them pay the ex-colonizers for land repatriated to the locals. Better to deal with other counties and move away from US and EU. America lately is on a downward spiral, the entire world can see it. Thanks for sharing and dispelling the myths.

    Chinatown are little enclaves of Chinese people businesses outside the mainland China. My hunch is that since the West isolated and imposed sanctions on Zim, Mugabe looked to the East and Chinese took advantage of the relationship and build a whole Chinatown in Harare. It would seem that it is not as busy as maybe the Chinese thought it would be and also the effects of Covid-19. In Nairobi, Chinatowns are spread in the areas of Kilimani, Chaka Place and Yaya centre. The biggest Chinatown in the world is found in San Francisco, in the US.
