    There’s a weird stigma about using a microwave but it’s convenient like microwave mochi. The traditional way can be labor intensive and not everyone has the time to do it. Thanks! Great job!

    I'll experiment w/microwave technique. Including adding ingredients in the mw. and with a shorter cooking time.

      Haha well my dad prefers the traditional way of doing them and he saw my failed test batches and couldn’t really understand at first why I still kept cooking them in a microwave when I could just steam them haha. 😅

    Did it change the texture of it to hard within a few mins after microwaving? I find that problem with starch carb foods.

      Hi! No it didn’t (but this is considering the weather now that it’s very warm), but in the cold once refrigerated, it does dry up. I just make sure to cover the finished so they don’t dry out so quick while I work on the others :)

    Hi! These look delicious. However, can I still create this dish buy buying and using prepackaged rice noodles from the store?

    • @TheFoodieTakesFlight
      @TheFoodieTakesFlight  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! the rice noodles from stores are already sliced up into strips so it might be harder to roll them up like this, but you can try! :)

    Can one substitute the corn starch with arrowroot starch?

    • @TheFoodieTakesFlight
      @TheFoodieTakesFlight  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! I haven't tried it for this recipe but arrowroot has similar properties to cornstarch so it shouldn't be a problem. It might even turn out silkier with arrowroot! Please let me know how it goes if you try it out. :)

    YOU CAN MAKE IT IN THE MICROWAVE?? my brain just broke a little

    • @TheFoodieTakesFlight
      @TheFoodieTakesFlight  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha yes! Lazy hack 😅though of course steaming yields that best rice rolls in terms of texture but microwaving turns out great too since it cooks in the steam when the container is covered :)

    The music is too loud and it's difficult to hear what you are saying. I didn't finish watching since I can't understand you.

      Her voice was definitely louder than the music. Were you using headphones or earbuds that maybe weren’t working properly?

    • @luxurycardstore

      @@seaglassmomma4040 sorry hun but NO I WASN'T using earbuds or headphones. But that's kind of a moot point since I chose not to finish watching. Thank you for sharing your opinion, but my opinion is that I stopped watching the video because the music was too loud.
