It really seems like whoevers making these doesn't realize Star Wars actually used to be a well made world full of diversity. It didn't matter what kind of character, creature, species they were, they found great ways to convey artistic depictions of the Human condition. Creative ways that connected us all on a deeper level.
We used to have such creative ways to convey emotions. To give the audience feelings without overly explaining it. I really miss that. If you go back and watch "X-Men the animated series" It is so well crafted. The story of mutants was so universally relatable. Media back then found ways to abstractly teach me life lessons, touched on difficult situations, found intelligent ways to tell stories. Even when I watched it all grown up it really felt like the story is so well crafted and executed that anyone is able to relate to it in someway or another. It's stuff like that that we are so deeply lacking nowadays. So much so that literal kid's cartoons from the 90's told deeper and more mature stories than most media nowadays.
Disney was so dead set to have Acolyte as progressive as possible, they made the stereotype of “black children with no father” reinforced.
The third episode should have the title changed to “Fatherless Behavior”.

The most egregious thing the creators of this show did is to name a character after the greatest bane of the blue collar man - OSHA.
Its a common Fantasy type name. It sounds "exotic" but still easy to pronounce. Remember osha in Game of Thrones? Theon's sister's name in the books was Asha as well. For the Black Character, it also is similar to O'Shea, a black name (ice cube's real name)
