    If I miss a day during the 40-day practice, should I start over from day 1, or can I continue the next day? I'm using this practice as a kind of medicine to heal childhood traumas.🙏

      Strictly speaking - start over. Not as a penalty as a way to keep you in the practice longer. It’s a spiritual connection between you and the ant to want to heal

      Yes - the deceptive simplicity of style and delivery of subtle guidance on the 'how' and the 'why' of the kriyas and meditations radiate pure integrity of purpose. Would be sad to see its world-wide resonance lead to adoption of 'brand" promoting practices so beloved by impersonal 'corporate' marketeers. Can understand the temptation though.

    Kind of a catch 22. Do this Kriya for more fire /motivation/drive, when it’s quite hard to initiate a practice without already having some drive. 🤷‍♀️
    I have not started a practice. So far I’ve had enough drive to start research, after someone recommended Kundalini Yoga.

    • @YogaVisionOnline
      @YogaVisionOnline  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I understand. Even if you watch and listen to the mantras and do a few breaths - you will have benefit. And then each day do a little more. You can also choose the shorter practices - some are only 3 mins. Once you start experiencing the benefits you may find that you start to crave the connection. ❤️

    I have been practising for about 40 days. I was feeling great, more energetic than ever and i loved practice! At day 40, immediately after finishing class, I felt a strong pain under my right foot. I could not walk properly for 5 days (the first two was quiet painful). I had to take some anti-inflammatory thinking I overexercised. Then the pain moved to the left foot (I can tolerate this). Then I realised it is kundalini energy rising and finding blockages. Some other also beautiful things happened to me, related to feelings and the way I handle daily life. I have stopped practise for the last 10 days. When may I return to practise? What should I do meanwhile? I really miss it and want to continue. Thank you Shalima for this life transforming experience!

    Hello! Hank you for your wonderful class. I have done it twice and had such a positive mindframe for the whole day after. I’m interested in a 40 day kriya and curious about your offerings, you mention this is the first part in a series, and also mention the option to do this particular kriya fro 40 days, and also advise how to further the meditation at the end. At this point I prefer to do classes led by someone so I can switch my mind off, surrender and follow. Do you have a 40 day option which is successive or suggest I just repeat this same class for 40 days? Thank you!

      Not necessary. But you know your body best. Not on a heavy meal or right after a meal or when hungry.

    I have a question though, can i do more than one exercise in the day?
    Like the letting go and acceptance, at the same say?

    Oh dear, am I the only one who finds the introduction of 'muzak' a very disappointing development? What a pity there doesn't appear to be an option to edit it out.

      @@YogaVisionOnline Apologies for inadvertently attachting my original comment to your most inspiring Breakthrough Series which cannot be praised highly enough and where I find music element is used with subtlety and not at all intrusive or distracting. Was referring to the new LIVE class where frankly I felt like being overdirected as if shopping in a supermarket.

      Have to own up though - could be an age 'thing' with me and will rely on your very wise advice to keep up to be kept up!

    I love your classes and this is such a wonderful and beneficial kriya. But sooooo much talking! Even through the meditation! :-0 Very disappointing. I assume that's because this is a part of a series and you feel the need to cheerlead and elaborate for new yogis. I have always valued your classes because you're a great teacher and because your classes aren't usually filled with chatter. I still love you, though. Sat nam. xxx

      I've found the verbal guidance to be so helpful - offered simply, clearly and directly to the point. Have been committed to this daily (well almost!) practice overywveral months now and each time still discovering new 'relevancies' I'd either not heard or properly understood before. Found by listening with my whole body rather than just my mind the flow of movement tends to happen by itself. And of course one always pre- or post-session select an area where a difficulty has been felt.
