I have been quilting for many years, but it's never really been my passion. I always got it done, but never enjoyed the process and just couldn't wait until it was done. Since I started watching your channel, I realized what was wrong. I really enjoy watching your processes. You are organized, things are clear and easy to understand. You do the same methods for all the different things you sew and its really motivating for me to watch you take your time, follow your procedure and just enjoy it. Today, I created one of your blocks following your methods and taking my time, and I really had a good time. I got one block done but it's not a race and if I want to enjoy it, it can't be with me. Thank you for bringing the joy back into my quilting. I can't wait to make the next block! (Daisy chain and I liked how you put it together better than the way they showed to do it. You have great accurate methods. I make a lot of mistakes in my quilting and doing things your way helps so much!)
Lori I just wanted to thank you for how you sew and explain exactly what you’re doing and it’s very refreshing to know how you do the Sewing and all The detail that you go through to explain how to put the squares together and how perfect they come up. Thank you so much❣️🧵🪡✂️❤️💕💓💗
This is my favorite block in the book…maybe it’s the flag patter that drew me to it but I love it! Thank you Lori for all that you do for the quilting world.
a lovely, lovely tutorial. I love the "sew your stash" series and I am especially excited about trying your method for making the scrappy stars...thank you, Lori
I’m recovering from surgery n enjoying watching your videos again. I love the music. Which I could go to the machine. I have always loved the 30s prints. The fabric brings a smile to my face. Hope you have another book in the works. I have vintage kites cut n will be making that soon. Just heard of another baby on the way the 4” scrappy stars will be perfect for boy or girl. Bless you.
Thank you so much, Lori! The easy corner triangles just blew my mind that they started as a four patch! Thank you for your kindness and generosity in taking the time to share how you do things. I know it makes my quilting better!
