I’m babysitting my 3 year old grandson today and he came to ask me something and then got drawn into watching the video. We did colors as you were sewing. He did pretty well. We talked about the baby tulips and the other sizes. Thanks for the great video.
I purchased your book Scrappiness is Happiness. Enjoying all your videos. Enjoying how you share all your techniques. Enjoying listening to you…makes me happy. Thank you!
Hi! I live in Idaho and sure agree with you on the weather. I love your tutorials and have learned so much from you even though I've been quilting almost 40 years. Thank you so much. Sharon
Lori, your love for your craft and your desire to share your knowledge and gifts with us is such a blessing! Your colourful fabrics and unique designs bring joy into my life. Thank you to you, Cassidy (and Grandpa and baby Reese too) for the seemingly effortless grace with which you share these videos with us. We are so very grateful!
Lori, I love your Patchwork Tulip block. It makes me smile. Thank you for sharing the block in four sizes. I inserted your recipes for the three extra blocks you shared in this video inside my "Scrappiness is Happiness" book with the original block. Great to see you, Kassidy and Reid in the video. Reid is cute and looks very alert! BTW, our grandmothers both loved pink. My grandmother (Deedy) bought a Lincoln Continental in a custom light pink color! :-D
Love this block Lori!!! Always so happy to see your tutorials pop up!! I always learn something new from watching them!! The Tulip Quilt is sooo pretty set in the dark background!!! The pictures at the end of you and Kassidy and darling Baby Reid are precious!!! Hoping Spring comes for you soon!!!! Thank you!!!
Love the tulips, love Miss Millie and want your Cotton closet! You are such a talented lady and excellent teacher. Thank you for sharing and caring. Now go hold that precious baby.❤❤❤
Lori, I am "sew" grateful for you! Why? Because you make me "SewHapi" If I could just show u all the little props you have. I have them, too! I got to find ur email. I love everything you do!!! Your daughter is gorgeous, and Grandbaby is "sew " adorable! That was a nice added bonus at the end!!!
Lori thank you for sharing your quilting experience with me! I’ve seen many of your books and patterns in the past but never felt advanced enough to buy them. You make it look so easy in this video that I’m inspired to give it a try. I have a bunch of scraps but have only made simple patchwork quilts in the past. I’ve been following your floss tubes for awhile and have stitched some of your patterns. Recently I learned how to make my own project bags, and I think this tulip block would be adorable on a bag. Your grandson is so sweet and adorable! I’m a grandma of 12 (mostly grown) and have 2 great grands, so I know how precious they are and I am very grateful for each one! ❤
I LOVE this block-and the quilt!! I just find the combination of colors and leaves to be so FUN! I want to try and use a medium-dark blue background in the same way! I am so very inspired, again!! Thank you Lori-and thank you Cassidy! ❤️❤️❤️❤️😍
You are such an inspiration to me!! The building g where I have had my quilt studio, for the last ten years, is going to be torn down! After being there for so long it was stuffed full. I have been going thru, thinning out for weeks. Decided to take this weekend off. After seeing this video, I'm going to make at least one tulip. This will be fun! Thank you for all that you do for us. Happy sewing!
What a pretty block! Thank you for the additional measurements to make this block in other sizes. You always get your money's worth and then some when you purchase a Lori Holt book. By far my favorite quilt designer! Thank You!!!
I'm not a fan of flower blocks Lori but you have changed my mind .... I love this block, especially in the 1.5" size. Thank you so much for your videos and I hope that Spring comes soon for you in Utah :)
I think that your sewing room and the incredible colors you share w your viewers are beyond Beautiful..I Love the small tulips and the 2 .5" ones. What a great teacher.🇨🇦

It's so nice to have your own built in social worker lol! I can turn on your channel and I don't feel so alone! I've worked from home for years with very little social life so I turn on my quilty friend and then I'm all set for a quilty happy day!
I love chatting... We learn so much from you!! These blocks are gorgeous!!! My grandma's favorite color was pink, too! It definitely showed in her kitchen and bathroom (that all her sons had to use 😂) Here's wishing you warm weather soon to get that garden started! Hugs!!
Love these tulips! Gives me Spring Fever! Love your tutorials! My mother’s name was Mildred, but everyone called her Miss Millie. Love the color of your Miss Millie. Thank you for sharing your craft with us! I am a total Lori Holt fan. Your ideas and colors are so inspiring. I feel like I know you. We are kindred spirits! You are a blessing and inspiration to so many, and thank you for spending time with us.
So colorful! My mother's mother, my Nana, was a Mildred, & also was called Millie, to her Canasta friends!!! Lori, I do enjoy, your chats; you share sew much great information!! This notification came on Thursday night at 11pm, Pacific DSTime, so, I stopped reading my bedtime story & jumped right on this!!! Now, my sleep starts with a huge grin & colorful flowers & inspiration for more sewing!!! Thanks much.
Hi Lori! I've been working out in my yard like crazy! Why is it that the weeds grow so fast when it's still too cold outside! We live in the mountains of CA and we had a lot of snow for our area - and lots of rain. I was complaining that it was too cold and windy to go outside - hahaha! Today is warm and perfect! Well, Spring has arrived - for now - hoping there won't be another frost. I just love your videos - and am so inspired by them. I think nearly all of my projects are Lori Holt designs! I appreciate you so much and how you share your gifts with us. Thank you! and thank you to Cassidy! By the way - your hair is just darling!!!
Lori he is just precious....... Looks alot like his Mama. Thanks for the additional sizes for the Tulip block. I think I would like to make some of the smaller ones for friends. Great idea....Hugs from Minnesota where spring had not sprung yet!!!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the tulip block tutorial! Tulips are one of my favorite flowers and look forward to seeing them. We are so blessed and I’m thankful for lovely folks like you.

Love love ur show. Love the fabric . I made my great granddaughters ur quilts so they can enjoy them in their home. I made the farm one and Emma was so happy she cried.

I love this block and I love your style of teaching and writing patterns. I am piecing a quilt for my grandson’s HS graduation and the directions are not as complete as yours. You spoil us and I thank you for that.
You are my favorite fabric designer & I love your quilt patterns. Not very many designers have the variety of prints & colors that you have in each fabric line. And all your fabrics coordinate so well. I love watching your videos & usually watch them over & over. I just finished my Great Granny Squared quilt top. I also love your Cross Stitch designs. I’ve made 5 of your designs & working on Vintage Housewives now. Thanks for all you do & share with us.
I absolutely love this! I’m still learning as a beginner and wish I felt confident enough to make one of these blocks and using it as a mug rug or make a couple for placemats or a centerpiece for a table. My aunts would love to have something like that as a gift and I know it would truly be treasured by them. I’m awful at cutting fabric even with the mat and rotary cutter, it looks like I’m going to be buying the June Taylor shape cut ruler to at least give me a fighting chance on making something to be proud of. Your videos are so extremely helpful and you’re so good at giving details that a beginner like me could easily miss. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us, you’re so kind and we appreciate you! Love and prayers sent your way from Delaware ❤️🙏
I love this block! 🌷 I love how you teach and share. You take your time and show it doesn't take a lot of time, just be accurate. I've had this book since it first came out on pre-order with FQS but haven't made this block. I'm so inspired by your video. Thank you so much Lori!!🥰🌷

Those are so cute. After I finish organizing my sewing area, I can't wait to get started on some blocks from your book. Love all your quilting videos. They are my favorite to watch. ❤

I love your tutorials! I’m ready to make my first quilt because of your ability to teach so well!
I love the tulip block! I love all your blocks, fabrics, vintage sewing machines and everything you do. You are so talented Lori. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!❤️🌷🌷🌷🥰😊
