Wonderful tutorial. I meant to comment of a video that included the "snazzy" tip about laying the squares on point, fairly close, to draw lines or cut already sewn pieces... as this tutorial also shows you doing this trick again. I wanted to make sure to get the "thank you" comment included. It sure helps with the time element prepping all the blocks. Bless y'all! And hoping Grants Pass is safe from all the horrendous fires throughout Oregon. My brother is fighting the Cedar Creek fire right now... Pray for all of the teams trying to contain the fires in almost impossible circumstances. 🙏

Between the nails, sound of the iron, sound of the rotary cutting, sound of the pedal to the metal sewing machine, sound of the *substantial* scissors cutting fabric, guessing what color quilting thread Donna will pick- I was wrong today, thought it would be the gray- and the sound of the long arm, I seem to get more fangirl with each passing video😂😂😂

Debbie, I totally agree with you. I’m quite organized and I still wish I had more time to sew! And I have even started to get up at 5 am about 4 months ago which has helped. And watching Donna so Is ‘so relaxing’! For me, her voice is very pleasant and she always has what I call, smiling eyes. And, I also really like both versions of the quilt. I don’t know….I absolutely love red and my spirit skipped a beat as she flipped the quilt. On the other hand, the fabrics in the blue one are intriguing and it has such nice clean lines. I’m guessing that in this case, both quilts are even more beautiful if we could see them one the other side of our monitors.
Have a wonderful day and hopefully each of will be able to make this quilt in the future. I actually have the quilt Nine Sisters cut and ready to go……I chose autumn batiks for this pattern. I fell in love with the pattern when Donna made it way back ago.
      Hugs from Maine.
