Another good thing about a parallel battery connection would be battery longevity. If you go 30 miles a day and drain one battery almost completely, its going to wear out a lot faster than if you had 2 being drained only 50%. Batteries don't like deep discharge or being topped off (for long periods)

ABSOLUTLEY right! Get out of the intersections if you can SAFTELY and ignore lights and rights, but only if it's SAFE to do so. Intersections are the most dangerous to bikes.

You are a ebike legend.
First thing, in some states if you have the light, and are turning, you can legally turn EVEN IF THE LIGHT TURNS RED, because you are considered “in the middle of a turn”, and are “blocking oncoming traffic”, so they allow you to complete the turn to clear up the intersection.
Point is, watch your back if something is in the intersection you are wanting to travel thru. Doesn’t really matter if the light turns, ya just know your going to be looking back at a grill of SOME kind…
Cause ya just know we ALL have an invisible bullseye painted on our backs. (Ride to live, live to ride)
Also, as to security, buy one of those “bike alarm” things off of Amazon. Around 20 bucks, makes your bike touch sensitive. Along with a good lock you are making some thief’s life complicated.
(If you can, get some pepper spray, and always wear that and your compact 9 concealed) cause you can’t ride if they take it from you…

Nice! You can extend the kickstand btw, it has a bolt on the back. Then it won't tip over on a decline.

I get roughly 25 miles out of my Ariel Rider X-Class on throttle, which also has a 52v 20ah battery

You need a super bright strobing flashlight.. legally questionable but could help at lights.
Have to do the battery blender and second battery. One day. Put the smaller one down below. Love that headlight ✌😎. Those do it yourself battery blender things are so easy to do if you have a pigtail on the second battery. Should be XT60 connectors on both batteries and the controller .. Then both batteries are used at one time equally.
Yes on a battery blender.
But,
Always put the lighter battery on top. The heavier battery below keeps the center of gravity low. Helps with overall control too.

Noble, one thing I will say. First off your correct but in this situation if you plan to use the basket as well for storage I’d put the bigger one up top so you have more room in the cage basket for things.

I mean you run them things hard on throttle lol I did that for 350 miles then I started using PAS1 and chilling and enjoying my rides on 60V 20Ah. I save so much power now and that means 3X more motor life and battery life. Just a tip.
you can change tire size in setting. put in the first unlocking code to get the p02 page up then you can change tire size default on mine is 24c
and at 24c yours is accurate with range?

I go to work that’s 15 miles away takes 1 hour and 20 mins in my ninebot max scooter. How many miles does the full battery cover? With battery upgrade and the regular battery?
Pro tip, the traffic lights are triggered by a magnetic plate in the pavement that detects the metal on cars..... you can add a powerful magnet to the bottom of a motorcycle to make them trigger better for you...that would also work on an ebike, just a powerful magnet on the bottom of the frame
true but for me it's not ideal. i ride a new ebike every week
@MrCentraldriver it's a magnet..... you can literally swap it from bike to bike. If it's not strong enough to stay on the bike, probably not strong enough to trigger the light

I got my super 73 s2 modified to 60to90 miles with pedal assist dual battery 52v 20mah goes mph, Samsung cell lithium custom 40amp 2000watt sine wave controller!!
The wheel diameter is likely set too low. This would cause the mileage to be lower than it should be dor a 20" wheel. You can change it by following directions in the display manual.

it goes 35+ and cruises at 30 based on if your going downhill or uphill. I hit 39.5 downhill today but up the same hill its only going 28

I thought the b m s was usually in the battery and it has to be matched up to handle whatever the controller amps is? So does the b m s in that new battery match? The specs? I'm assuming there is one in each battery
bms in the custom battery is 300amps. the controller is max 100amps. doesn't need to match. the battery just had to be over the amps of the controller

The GoPro law depends where you are, amd even then most clips I've seen cop's try to get people tickets over a law that is meant for manufacturer's not consumers, and it's aslo about it not exceeding a certain height or weight so it really depends
Adjust that kickstand fam! Whenever you add weight up top, you need to stand that bike more straight up

It will change your center of Gravity having that battery hence the kick stand not seeming as robust as usual.
Yeah it’s an adjustable kickstand so it can be fixed but just something to note.
Hi don't know if the bike your using has another side/middle mount stand as you stated extra weight affects the balance as mine e bike custom fell over, middle mount is better in my opinion.
The stand is adjustable it just needs to be adjusted with the extra weight. Also at an incline. The stand in the middle is better for transferring weight but horrible for the pedals to get in the way and hit when moving the bike which I hate so much

Keep it 52v battery and you won’t need to change the controller.

Debating on buying the Revv1 or a Super73. Want something that will last and that I can mod later down the road. Which is easier to work on? Heard the brakes on the Super arent as good as Revv1
Super73 is easier to mod to 72v
My LaPierre keeps its speed really well. But it does not have a throttle. I still get 20mph with a maximum range of 200 miles on eco.
My Etech E6 fat tyre has a throttle & has a 31mph speed with about a 60mile range. 48v 960wh 20 or 25AH battery.
It also keeps its throttle on about 2 seconds after I let it go.
I also have a conversion on my Mongoose Wing Elite Pro MTB.
And I have two other e-bikes & a scooter.

@24 minutes you mentioned that you didn’t think they would do something to be able to run dual batteries. They actually did. They sell a dual battery splitter to allow you to run two batteries in unison. I’m sure you know by now. Just figured I mention it.

4 inch fat tires are usually 20 psi max.
Usually the cheaper ones. These are 30psi :)

Also, I would say that most people are just self centered ass jacks, and only care about texting and what is convenient for them while driving. Makes me crazy too.

not its not adjusted yet. this bike is OEM other than the battery upgrade
@@MrCentralDriver The original kickstand is adjustable! You just need a hex key to it! With that, the bike gonna be more stable because of the weight of the extra battery!

Etech Motion E6 has a 800w rear hub motor. And the bike weighs about 30kgs or more.

charge it whenever. if you want the best case to have your batteries last forever. never drain your battery to 0. keep it above 10% and never charge above 80% which would be 4bars. but regardless if something does happen batteries are 500 for a replacement. worse thing to do for a bike is just leaving it at a full charge for weeks

When your charging the 24 ah battery should the switch be on or off?
i leave mine on while charging. and turn it off when the charger is not connected so it doesn't run down if i plan to use it in a few hours or the next day

You will not void your warranty if you use a battery from the company. If they can prove you used a battery that was not from them they can deny all warranty claims for any issues on the bike

Just for your information. When you got home after that trip and you were down two battery bars. Then you turned the bike back on and you were down 1 battery bar. You actually were down the two bars. It is called ghosting. It will jump up but the next time you take it out it will drop down very quickly. It is very misleading to most people. The more your ride and research you will find this out. Enjoyed your video. Realistically how many miles are you getting on any of your ebikes compared to what the manufacturers are claiming. I think they are at least twice as high as what an average rider would really get.
You get about 1-1.2mile per AH
How long is the range once you add the battery?
20ah will get you 25 miles full throttle in off-road mode for 130-160lbs of a rider on basic terrain. 24ah will net you an extra 5miles in the same conditions. the bike can hold an additional battery which will double your stock range and give you 50miles+ working on a video to connect two batteries together to discharge together. it's a great setup
