Tell Hector .... He's a Legend. Always polite and shows an interest 👌
Thanks for always being so nice you like a brother.
Been binge watching your videos & you inspired me to get an e-bike.
So fun
I've heard you got a new Ebike with 134 volt. Can't wait to see you on it. Sounds like a cool bike
Hey man thanks for all the content! Can you recommend where to buy an aftermarket controller for the revv1?
I say 25 psi. Any lower could be pushing it. I know the roads out there is not so great. You all have the same roads as San Jose. So I know. I forgot about how much work you put into the Revv1. Damn it is sweet stuff man.
I used 110/80/16. Taller tire. Work's great
i would suggest this as well for the michelins not the shinkos
Ill suggest 28-30 psi. Nothing less than 25, i think if you go too low you will have more rolling resistance affecting your speed. Be careful with them pedals, be mindful of their position when making those turns... GREAT STUFF MR CD!!!! 👍👍💪💪👊👊🔥🔥😍🤩
I agree about direct drive hubs being awesome because of the lack of gear noise. Geared hubs are noisy AF...
Maybe you can try balancing the tires also. Guys that change their own motorcycle tires have some system to add weights to the wheel
I'm next in... gonna check out future updates. I really want to look into more modding on Revv 1 because of the rarity. Can't wait 👏🏻 Also would want tor ride with you guys for the experience in the future. Fresno is super far though 😢
If you have square taper crank arms you can get the kaniwaba 89mm crank arms its alot way shorter
I have the city grip 2 on my honda forza 300cc. They definitely need balancing with weights
My only concern would be the tire at higher pressure on a rim not designed for that might fail. Motorcycle rims have a bit more beef where the bead seats.
Good vid. Looking to mod my revv even more cause you and jonni are outclassing me lol
haha
What size tire did you use on the super73? Link for the Shinkos doesn't work.
Can’t wait for you to do a review on the scooter that the inja gave you to do a vid on
Time to revert the tires
Can you wire in the speed sensor together maybe that will work from having your lights turn off every so 10 mins.
Not sure 😢
Has anyone tried setting up tubeless on this bike?
I’m not happy with how the screws went back into the controller plate when installing the dual battery. Nervous that they are on the verge of stripped. Any solution? I may dremel a concave portion so the wire can flow more easily instead of pinching it.
Did you have any issues with the Amazon blender over heating? I zip tied them to the wires
mine fit fine. i did all my bolts loose while shaking the plate to make sure i felt it pop before tightening. you don't need all of them just maybe 2 on each side. and no issues with overheating but it was not as hot as it is now!
did you get the extra battery to fit in the cage that they sell? if so can you share some pics and show us how you did it?
thanks
Yes please!
Is there any recommendations on the electric bike company co model j? As far as upgrading to 72v and trying to get 50-60 mph?
No idea I haven’t reviewed it or messed with it or even seen it in person
28 psi .... would be comfortable and a good for rolling resistance .
My 16x3 are almost the same diameter as those and it's about an inch shorter than stock
Could the wobble be a need for a weight balance? I don't know if motorcycle tires need them or not.
Could be. Or just needs to be aired up evenly around the bead better
I have some innova 20x 4 tires and they feel wobbly at 25 mph. I would think thicker tires like on this video would solve that.
100%
Did you remove your chain? And if so, does the pedal cadence sensor still work, like an alt throttle? (I see now you did)
Also, why did the torque arm not fit with the chain in place?
The pedal assist doesn’t work I’m running a full different controller and motor and battery for the powertrain. No sensors are hooked up for the pedals on this new system. The Torque arm covers the bolt hole for the chain derailleur which is needed because the chain is gonna move when the suspension goes up n down. One torque arm can be removed to add the chain derailleur
@@MrCentralDriver Gotcha! My 3000W kit is arriving next week, but I have a single speed hard tail. Do you think the pedal assist would work with no chain?
If you are mounting motorcycle tires use tire ease. Also, balance the tires. I love my NB motor its 0 to top speed is fast. What is the load range on the tire? Take the weight of the bike and lower the pressure down to the load. If the max load range is 500lbs at 30psi you should be able to run 15psi and still be ok maybe 12 psi.
441 Pounds. Max psi if not mistaken said 35/36
the thing is if you always on the road then 30psi but off road 25-27psi..
I’m just buying the Raev GTX with upgraded Huntsman tires from the factory lol
should be a good bike. i think i have a discount code. try mrcentraldriver should take $100 the gtx
@@MrCentralDriver yeah it looks like about the best Moped style bike you can get around $2300 for the features included in it, dual batteries, moped tires, upgraded suspension and really nice seat, plus 1k watt motor.
The Amazon link for the shinko tires is no longer valid I was looking for it.
doesn't look like they are anywhere on amazon anymore
I got the Shinko 110/70-16 tires. Can they go tubeless? If they can do I need to order anything else?
i doubt it. i still use the stock tubes
Pretty sure tubeless tires need to be mounted on compatible tubeless rims.
I ordered a Onyx RCR. Will these tires fit?
No onyx rcr doesn’t use fat tires
i will stick with my E scooter 5600w 55mph 60v i paid 1400.00 pounds for it front fork hydraulic suspension
Does anyone have the link to the inner tube for this bike? 😱
Any 20x4 tube
Lol that car did have his signal on.
right at the end yes. not when he was breaking the whole time, look again
💯‼️💙
Pedal assist still work or na?
No
You own that store you always leave from at night ? Or the manager ?
Just a night manager
What mod is on there that lets you go 50+ mph?
Full replacement to a 72V system (battery, controller) and a new motor. Mods cost more the the retail price of the bike.
You think my cty2 can hang with your rev1 ?
With his modded Rev1 no but pretty close.
@@Trillville43yeah probably not lol, but do like to know how much of a gap 60v and 72v is.
Fill them with nitrogen 😊
Let's goo
If you would have got the 120/80/16 they would have been the right size and not smaller
Gt 20 e-bike
I'm gonna suggest a random 25 psi
How do you hit 50 I can only go 35
its modified to 72v
All u nee for a chain is change the tork arm to a bolt on style and not the cheap hose clamp style its very easy and way better the a hose clamp. No one uses the hose clamp because its ugly and not that good of a way to do it. Take off the long arm and drill a hole and bolt tork plate to swing arm its very simple to do.
It still needs to go around the axle. These motor axles are much bigger and the nuts that hold it down as well which get in the way a little bit as well. If the plate was modified or the washer or torque arm was modified like u said then I’m sure anything is possible. But for the average consumer we won’t be drilling into the bike or doing custom fab work like that.
@@MrCentralDriver of course it has to go thru axle but you don't need both pieces just axle piece and they sell other plates to that are better and cheap. Just trying to help ya there are plenty of vids out how to use tork plates that don't use a cheap hose clamp that isn't safe either. It's really ment for like a regular bike frame that don't have good drop outs. Good luck
28-30 psi
WHAT?!!! No goathead thorns in your area? I call “BS!!!”
I'm not too far from you. If you decide to sell this one can I buy it?
Maybe later this year. Gonna be pricey tho. Probably around $4800-5000
Did you already sell this? I saw the post but can't reach you? I want it.
Try 20 psi
25psi front 28psi back 😅😅
Is that a roach? 😆 😆
You need to learn how to steer a two wheeled machine. That’s why the steering feels weird to you. Look up motorcycle counter steering. Those tires are designed to perform that way.
Do they have a taller tire in the same model?
i dunno i didnt look
Try 15lbs.
I’m watching you complain about a guy in a car mitt using his blinker while you make turn after turn without using your blinkers
You mean the guy who came to a slow roll of 10-15mph then turned his blinker on last minute? I’m on an electric bike and in no situation in this video did not using blinkers “which aren’t required btw” affect traffic ?
If you're not going to have a chain then why don't you take off the crank and put some pegs there?
because i planned to fix it but never had the time
Cut the wire if you know what I mean
no i dont?
@@MrCentralDriver when you cut the brown wire it makes the bike go a lot faster, because it makes it so that the bike can go as fast as possible and not care about the safety
@@Jaxon_Comer wait I thought that was only on some other certain bikes not the revv 1
@@YTShade I’m not familiar with the revv 1 but you should search it up and if you still don’t find anything then you should look inside the controller or whoever all the wires are on that bike
@@Jaxon_Comerfollowing in case anyone tries this
The light cuts off while you are driving? Are they actively trying to kill their customers?
Thanks for the info. I'll never buy a Ride1Up product, EVER!
you don't understand this is a modified 72v revv1. custom built to go 50+mph. the original motor was disconnected. the new motor runs on a new aftermarket controller. the old controller only runs the lightning system and because the stock motor is not connected it auto powers off because of no input on the stock system. the stock bike does not cut the lights off haha
@@MrCentralDriver Oh... Ohhhhhh... that sort of makes sense now. My apologies to Ride1Up. They weren't trying to kill a customer. It was just a customer trying to kill himself.
Seriously though, why don't you just get a normal lighting kit and toss the old controller into the parts bin?
u got some crappy shocks on that bike u need to buy some better shocks for that bike
That's all good until the cops confiscate your bike because it's illegal and they will eventually.
Maybe
Hmm. 30 to 35 psi, but try to get high as you can do. But yeah. It be interesting to see what it does.
