It’s dropped a lot already and will continue to drop if AMD releases their new series of graphics cards. Love the card but don’t see much resell value a few years later.
That mainly makes a difference, if you're a collector. Sure it's nice to know that you can still get top dollar for your 1080, and we know that Nvidia owners won't take a penny lower than what they feel their card is worth. However, that also means that if you are an Nvidia owner, and your card isn't doing the job you want anymore, you will have to pay the "Green Tax" to get something better. When you naturally leak money, it's not a big deal, but if all you want is better performance, rather than a collector's item that you can treasure for generations to come, then you get better value for your money with AMD. With less inflated prices, it also means that by the time you've outgrown an AMD card, there is a higher possibility that you can replace the card with something better, but still used, for less.
One thing people dont take into account is workload. I use my pc for gaming but also processing datasets for work. AMD just doesnt preform as well and I had to swap unfortunately 😢

So that means I can get a used AMD card for much cheaper.. hell yeah
Better upscaling is Nvidia? OK....
If Nvidia is for content creators why do you use an Rx 7900xtx
probably because thats his main gaming rig which its only purpose is for gaming and his editors use nvidia gpus for their editing software
I may be smarter then you but you have more experience
Why sell when you can make it as an ancient collectible for future?
Cuz it’s his job to sell pcs and make yt videos about it
