I just returned my "Pale Grey " MX Master 3s, I had a weird yellowing effect all over it. It seems like a lot of people are experiencing this. I got the black one instead. Outside of the yellowing issue, this mouse is pretty good.
fair point, so far no yellowing for me but I have to say it gets dirty very fast
doesnt help when you have curry hands
I strongly do not recommend the white version, after 3 months in the area of the thumb in the notch, the coating begins to turn yellow due to the chemical reaction of sweat and coating

I've had mine less than a month and it already has some discoloration that doesn't clean off with a damp rag and dish soap. I'm always careful to keep my hands clean while using it. Have you found any solutions beyond getting the dark version?

Thanks for sharing!! I looked at both the Logitech MX Master 3S and the Logitech MX Master 3S for Mac. Only difference I saw was that the 3S will work with both Mac OS & Windows OS along with having three color choices over the 3S for Mac having two. Curious, why would they designate one for Mac? Is it just because of the Space Gray color? Thanks again, Great job! 👍😊

Well-done review. 👍 The only thing I would like is slightly quieter music or louder vocal, but maybe that's just me.
Question about button functions: That Logitech software is cool and can do a lot (I especially like "Flow"), but sadly I can't use _any_ of it on my Linux-based computer. 😔 So: do the buttons have useful functions right out of the box? Does the side wheel do horizontal scroll by default? Do the forward/back buttons do that without software? What does that thumb button do, if anything, and the top button behind the scroll wheel? Thanks!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I'm trying to improve the balance between vocals and music volume in the new videos. The MX Master 3S does work with those extra buttons out of the box, including horizontal scroll, which is why I cannot switch to another mouse - it has become second nature to me during my workflow on both MacOS and Windows. The thumb button expands the desktop to show all current windows (task view), while the button behind the scroll wheel enables and disables the electromagnet in the scroll wheel so you can have either smooth scrolling or scrolling per row. All of these functions can then be remapped in Logi software and even mapped differently for each app, which can be quite handy.
Are they 125hz (or above) or 90hz?

Where can I get the same mousepad? Do you recommend it for this mouse?
I got this mousepad from DeltaHub deltahub.io ,yes I use is every day with MX 3S
I bought one and then discovered the polling rate is an ABYSMAL 125Hz. Coming from a Logitech mouse with 1000Hz. It's so laggy. It would be fine if it were some cheap $30 mouse but I expect more from one with this price even if it's productivity focussed.
I was about o pull the trigger on one yesterday when i found out about the 125Hz. Absolutely inacceptable. Anything below 300 is stupid, even for browsing. You can clearly feel the difference at these low rates.
Between like 500 and 1000Hz I cant feel any difference at all anymore. But 125 is just abysmal.
Here's my question. This mouse can be linked to three different computers. So I link it to my main computer. Then lets say I need to reset my computer back to factory status. Now I need to pair up this mouse again. Does this mean I will need to use a different connection point or can I still use the first point where it was originally set up? I hope that's the case because otherwise what's going to happen if I reset my computer more than three times? Will that make the mouse un-pairable because I have already used the three link points?
No for re-pairing you can use same channel as before it will simply re-write old pairing.
Hello, I have seen that pale gray over time it turns yellow. What about yours? Did it turn yellow or brown?
Hi! In my experience, it didn't turn yellow, but it does get dirty very easily. Although I love this product and use it daily, I wouldn't recommend this color. If I had to choose again, I would opt for graphite grey.

it does indeed get dirty over time but few wet tissue wipes can do the trick

I'm just seeing this comment after posting about my own Linux situation. Sadly, one thing it means for sure is that you can't run the Logi Options+ software. That runs only on Windows & Mac according to my memory of what I read on the Logitech website. I learned there is software for Linux called Solaar that lets you see the battery level and adjust _some_ things, including scroll resolution & direction, DPI, mouse gestures, and button actions, but so far I can't tell how extensive or flexible it is. I installed it for my current (cheap, M325) Logitech mouse just to see what it can do, and _all_ of those settings are locked. It's also nowhere near as visually elegant as the Logitech software. Still, I'm very glad it exists. Hopefully it will work on the MX Master 3S. So I'm still concerned about whether the buttons all come with useful functions from the factory, without needing software.
