    Glad to hear this. I'm getting ready to do a full All on 4 on the top (will do partials on the bottom for a while). There are plenty of people out there that have shared their problems but not enough that has shared their success. And I'm sure that's primarily because people are quick to share their troubles but those without problems just don't think about it.

    Had my all on 4 upper and lower bridges (G4) done in Vegas by Dr Golpa three months ago for 34 k . I'm very happy with them so far, they look and feel great and have had zero pain post op . I had 27 regular plus 4 wisdom teeth extracted along with complete grafting done one day and the next day G4 bridges installed (2 days total) . Great deal with a life time warranty on the implants if they fail. My local dentist wanted 50K and would have 4 or 5 different places involved. Another choice place (hint) wanted 65k plus. Dr. Golpa's office has done over 10k procedures and does everything under on roof in two days for 34k with a great warranty.

    Thank you!! I'm at the very end - August 17th I get the final teeth. I've been so pleasantly surprised at how happy I am so far but it's been a long time now and I'm not quite done. It was really tough getting through it, I won't lie, but I continue to hope for the best and am grateful. I needed the encouragement. Thanks again. It made a difference for me.

  • @hellkatbaby6903

    1st off thank you for your videos. I'm having the All on 6 upper arch done in May - it's been 6 months since I've had the extractions, gums split and cleaned, bone and tissue graphs. I had over 50% bone loss so it was not a fun procedure - not to mention I hate these dentures. For just the upper arch it's costing me 30k and that includes all the pre surgery that was done prior. Once they place the posts they may need to add a little more bone which is also included in the price tag. So for those asking about the price the only thing I can tell you is for just the arch and nothing else is 12k for acrylic and $17k for the porcelain. All the other money was due to all the work I had to have before they would even know if I'd be a candidate. Some people even have to have a sort of nose job done if their sinus cavities are in a certain spot or the post will go through the nose - crazy! That being said IF I had been a 'perfect' candidate I would have hopped a plane and headed somewhere overseas and gotten it done for 1/2 that price and rest up somewhere in a nice hotel with an ocean view for a week lol. But I hope in the long run it will be worth it.

    I'm having this done Monday at Clearchoice (top and bottom). Total cost 48k. For the last month I've been very excited but as it gets closer I'm getting nervous. Thank you for sharing your success story, it reminded me that it'll be worth it...!!!

      FaceInTheWindow it went far better than I expected... so far I am very happy with my new teeth. way less pain than I imagined... the only thing i don't like is this interim period with the temporary set... even though they look spectacular they aren't very functional (which of course is intentional)... basically just for mashing... so I'm looking forward to my permanent set which will be zirconium, sharper and more of them... for those who are considering this I highly recommend it; so far I have absolutely no regrets whatsoever... I've never smiled this much in my life.

      @@jonlear9277 hey, thanks for comment. I go in for my consult for whole mouth this week. I’m pretty darn nervous. I’ve had several teeth extracted already, at the 6 point mark to have those several teeth attached when I called and said let’s just do the whole thing. What I’m worried about is the waiting. Once they extract all of the teeth. How soon can I expect any type of fakes to be put in so I can eat?? Thanks for any tips u can give. Have a blessed day.

    Keep the ding as it makes them look more natural. I did a similar thing with the colour of mine as well, told the dentist I didn't want the fake Hollywood blinding white look and also got them to do irregularities on some - a slightly turned canine and rounded edges on some as I didn't want them to look like square ventriloquist teeth.

    have a question I recently just had the all on 4 procedure done. I’m currently at the 6 month stage and already being fitted for my permanent one. My problem is that 3 months into my recovery I noticed something sticking out of my right upper jawbone right above my temporary bridge and it was kinda sore to the touch. I didn’t know what it was. So I called my dentist the one that is doing my restoration, went in and sat down “she looks at it and says “ oh that’s normal that’s part of the implant. It fine when ur permanent one is in that won’t even show? So I believed her she is the dentist all the schooling so I had to take her word. I ho home still that area is sore about a week later that part that was sticking out. Guess what it decides to fall out of my mouth. It looked like some kinda of hard play do like material. Come to find out it was part of some wax or impression material from the surgery. So not only did my gums heal around that piece it left a big hole were it was lodged at, my whole recovery time I have felt like something was wrong, I kept going in and they kept telling me everything is fine your healing just perfectly. Other then the space I can feel between my bridge and jawbone I was fell like it is moving or sliding and from what I’ve read there can’t even be any micro movements at all during the healing period? But I’m not the expert. And to top it off just last week I go in to test out the wax fitting of my soon to be permanent bridge with a titanium bar. As she is putting back in my temporary bridge she is screwing in the screws she got 3 in then all of a sudden I hear the dental assistant drop the 4th screw on the ground she immediately says “oh doctor sorry i dropped the last screw? Wtf as they are both on the ground looking for the screw for a good 30 seconds all of a sudden the dentist stands up and says “?ok I’m going to put your chair up now we’re all done” I immediately say what about the 4th screw? She says oh that will be fine I leveled all the other 3 out so you will be fine till till we get your final bridge in 2 weeks.. I’m thinking I’m not thinking in my head ? How did she level them out ? She didn’t even use a torch wrench on the tightening of the screws? I just have watched to many you tube videos I guess? So now I’m walking around with a all on 3 dental implant bridge? WTH I’m I overreacting ? Is this the kinda of level of care 38,000 cash paid in full gets you? I don’t know how to approach them because every time I fell something is not right I get shot down with there dental lingo that I have no clueless what they talking about. But I do have common sense and my sense tells me something wrong here

      Heather go for the mini implants. They cost half as much. After they put the temps in you will go back in 2 to 3 wks. and get your final set. Also go to dentalplans.com before all this. With a little navigating you will find a list of 25 indivdual or family plans. Actually just call their phone number and let them help you find a dentist who does mini's in your area and what dental plan the dentist has and then you would pay for a yearly membership of $200. or less and them receive wonderful discounts for the procedure. Then there is a credit care account you can be set up with by this dentist so that you can pay over time the balance owed at 0% interest. Check out Dr. Shankin who is the founder of mini implants from Buffalo N.Y. He's right here on TH-cam. I'm going for a procedure tomorrow myself. Good luck

Do others notice or comment on how they look or ask questions, and how to you answer them. Also, my regular dentist wants to do the all-on-4 procedure on my upper jaw and I am hesitant about letting him do it and wonder if I should find an oral surgeon. Thank you so much for answering!

    Jay - thanks for sharing. Really informative. I had mine done about 4 months ago and I'm close to getting the final set. Question, did you experienced any speech issues (with s, ths, x's, etc...) and did the permanent set corrected that? Besides that everything is great but I really would like for that piece to be corrected for good.

      +F. “FLFrank72” R. I have a video called All on 4 speech testing after getting teeth, in that video you can hear my Dentist talking about speech, and yes I did talk a little slushy for a few days, I got better through each day, but would have to start over every morning for a little bit, it really is retraining to talk how you want to with them. I did NOT have an immediate set, I waited like 7 or 8 months for the implants to heal before I got the teeth placed on them, so you will have to notice when you get your permanents. I hope that helps you.

    I think I saw another post where you said you just had novocaine when you had the procedure. I am thinking about possibly having this as well. Could you feel any discomfort during the procedure? How long did it take? I am thinking about possibly getting knocked out, but that is only going to add to the already expensive bill. Please let me know your thoughts. They look great! Thanks!

    • @jaygray4700
      @jaygray4700  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did kind of feel sometimes and they would have to give me more novocaine, If I were you I would get knocked out, I am just a control freak so I needed to be awake to know what was going on, which I do NOT suggest. Do NOT look at it as a bill, look at it as an investment into yourself and future. After getting implants it hurt on and off for about 3 weeks, 3days really bad, then a squeezing and throbbing pain on and off for weeks. I had the top and the bottom done at different time, and I know one was worse than the other.

    • @jaygray4700
      @jaygray4700  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All on 4 is slightly different, People said that when they looked into implant videos they looked them up by typing in "All On 4," so I called my videos All on 4. I originally asked to have All on 6 (6 on top and 6 on bottom) The Dentist decided it was easier to do 5 on the bottom and 7 on the top, so that is what I have. All on 4 is the actual design of where the place 2 in the front then 2 more, one on each side and they are cantilevered, all of my implants are straight up and down and I have a few more. I was told when you get implants tou want the the widest and the most implants you can get to make a more solid foundation.

    Hi Jay, I had a couple of questions for you. Do you get saliva under the bridge? I keep trying to suck it out as it collects. Drives my gums crazy. And does the very back of it on the top touch your gums? Mine os very tight up against the gum in the very back. I am having some massive anxiety with this and wondered if you had any of the same issues.

    • @jaygray4700
      @jaygray4700  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      @debbiemoore4833 7 ปีที่แล้ว

And here in the USA the implant's usually cost around $1,100 each, or at least they did when I had it done, maybe I should pull out my itemized bill and show everyone what it costed to have what I had done at the Dental College I went to.

      They are so shiny ! Mine do not look like yours. Was there a particular brand you chose other than color ? My dentist is making me a new permanent set at his cost 🤗 But, I want them perfect so when they are attached to my implants, I am completely satisfied.

    • @jaygray4700
      @jaygray4700  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I am NOT sure what kind mine are, at the dental office they had different sample teeth, I chose a few different ones and then the dentist made me 2 different sets in wax, one in PW4 which were way to white even though I have very pale skin, and PW2's, which were the ones I picked, the dentist thought they were a little bright, but other people said they looked really nice so I went with them. You have to keep looking for the right color for you and your complexion, remember the darker your skin tones are the more contrast there will be so the brighter the teeth will look, it is a delicate balance, and they do take a little time to get use to. There is also a tooth size you need to think about. You want a full teeth smile, meaning the top of the teeth line up with the bottom of your top lip when you are smiling and you do NOT want people to be able to see all of your teeth all the way back, so if you have a wider mouth you may want to use a little bigger tooth so NOT so many teeth are seen while you smile. And when you are smiling the top half of the bottom teeth should line up with the top of your bottom lip, so only the top half are showing. But remember the top teeth have to be long enough to give you a tooth filled smile. When actors go in to get their teeth redone, they are looking to straighten out their teeth by eliminating gaps, brighten up the color, and fill in the smile with teeth.

    • @michellesearcy2480
      @michellesearcy2480 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Aww. Thank you so much for your time and advice. My complexion is the same as yours maybe, a little more olive toned. I have a very small mouth. But, I don't like the gumline to show because, the glare in pictures look terrible. I also don't like the fact the acrylic was brought down so far between the teeth that it looks like I have food stuck there. I also believe the acrylic is not dense enough because you can see the whole tooth through the gums. Aghhh ! I have paid enough for these and the implants, I think I deserve that Perfect smile. Let's face it they are working with a blank slate. 😆

      @jaygray4700  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on what all you have done, like you may need bone grafting, I had to have an infection ball surgically removed and scraped. The type of teeth, like do you want acrylic, ziconia, or porcelain, How many implants, the type of titanium re-enforced bars, some need sinus work done. And I suggest you find a Dentist that has gone to school to do implants, NOT just anyone who says they can do them. Them you need to decide if you want regular size implants which is far more involved and expensive comparred to mini implants, however with mini's you will need more implants. You need to figure out where to have it done, the USA, Mexico, Costa Rica, You can also have them done at a Dental School by a Grad Student with a Board Certified Surgeon right next to the Grad student assisting. There are many variables, but to have it done in the USA, at a Dental College, Having teeth extracted, an infection ball removed and scraped, bone grafting, 12 implants, 2 titanium re-enforced bars, 2 Bridges/teeth, your looking at $35,000 to $45,000 is my best guess, but you will need a quote from the places you check out.

      Great job, sounds like you could make some changes too.
      Wish i could find the right path to a better quality, im gonna keep looking till im as happy as jay......
