    I'm digging your channel man. 12 GT owner here. Full Steeda suspension all the way around, Steeda 1 piece DS, Steeda tune & Steeda CAI & DR'S. I drive the car to work , beach etc. I run consistent 12'0s and touched 11.98. I want consistent 11's. I can't decide to go circle D or longtubes. I'm satisfied with the exhaust note now gt500 ab minus resonators. I don't know where you are located but I'd like you to do the work or at least the tune. keep up the great info on your channel!

    Hey man I appreciate all the knowledge transfer you share on here man. I’m planning on doing a swap in the near future from NA to turbo or super but not there yet. I’m sure you have answered this before but what is your rate for tuning? Also I was led away from E85 from a “ford guy” because I would need to change the fuel system or CPU or something... between VP110 and E85 cost not a thing here what would you recommend also I’d love for you to tune for me once I make my upgrades and maybe even before that I’ve seen your work and am mighty impressed

    Hey man I have a 17 coyote I'm building for the track and I am going to be competing in global time attack this year. I was thinking cj and peas for the past few months but read one of the comments down below about some other guy doing autocross and you recommended the boss IM because of the low end power.. Now he was saying he was usually around 4k rpm for the most part. Im around 5-6k mostly and full balls to the wall every chance I get on the straights. So in that case would you say I'm better off going cj/mono/pmas or twin 67, or just a different manifold and setup all together? Thanks a lot dude your videos are always super helpful!

    11.8 at 117 here with Gt350 manifold, stock intake, stock exhaust 3.31s and 2900ft D/A. CJ doesn't lose power past 7600 like the GT350 manifold does though.

    What CAI do you recommend for a 14 coyote with a stock intake manifold? I'm only planning on doing a Lund tune, LTHs, xpipe, throttle body on the stock intake manifold as of now

    I saw the CJ setup on Bens car this weekend its nice. You say that the CJ is the best intake for a NA application. Lets say hypothetically you had an intracranial aneurysm and found yourself owning a 15 convertible and installed a procharger. Which intake manifold would you recommend?

    Awesome vid. Very helpful. What do you recommend for standard 14 mustang gt. Gonna add long tube headers. Cold air intake. Cobra manifold. Wanna upgrade the gears.. also wanna get it cammed too, and tuned

      3.73 gears are good all around if you're okay with the gas milage. Also with those 1st gear is like superrrr short, I have the stock 3.31 gears and they're good for me bc my 5.0 is my daily

    If you're racing, yes, the Cobra jet intake. If you're on the street and you have a 2015 to 2017 Mustang the 2018 manifold is the way to go. I can flat out smoke cars that I could not before changing the intake manifold. It also picked up nearly four miles per hour at the track. That's a pretty significant difference. I also handported the manifold. Probably worth a few horsepower.

      Alejandro Flores I installed a ford power pack 3 on my 2016 mustang gt. It included the Gt350 intake manifold, throttle body and cold air intake with a ford tune. The car runs fine, but I get a poof of air out the air filter when I turn the car off. Is this normal? Thanks in advance.

      Mingo 70 Pretty sure all cars do that when you turn off the engine. It's more audible with a CAI, I love that sound.

    to clearance the hood do I have to buy a cowl hood or can I trim the stock hood to make the cobra jet intake fit, also I want to do headers and possible cams, I only got 5500 to spend on my 2016 right now its got a BBK 90mm TB, CAI and magna flow comp catback with a lund racing tune. Or should I just keep my stock intake, its a street and occasionally I do autocross, time attack, and track days. I'm not really a strip guy.

    CJ is the best that's true it has been proven many times on many reputable tests. However it does require a dif throttle body and CAI. I suggest you save your money and a little more to it and get a blower thrown on top of it. I would only go CJ if you plan on staying NA.

    hi just went to install my cobra jet with the twin 65mm throttle ,, on my 2016 gt my problem the runner control valve , can that just be un plugged or can lund tune delete it , if it can just be un plugged will it show error or loose power

    My car is stock with roush axle back with off road x pipe jlt cold air drag springs and big and littles and a good ass tune on 93 and I run 11.6 @121 all day. I don’t get how people can’t get low 12s easy but I’m thinking about putting a cobra jet on mine. Mine is a 13 gt with 373s and calimet mt82 love it I’d like to get to low 11s possibly high 10s. Also I’m full interior with the spare tire heated/full electric seats lmao.

    I have a 17 gt (3750lbs), c&l racer intake w/100 octane bama tune, roush axle back, and heartthrob x pipe, 3.55 ratio, auto trans, and ran 120mph 1/4 mile man. 12.0 because I spun up to 3rd but these coyotes are no joke

    I have a auto 2011 gt with a JLT cai with a bama tune and a borla catback. Im looking at manifolds and would love a cobra jet but i cant find any instructions on the provisions for the aspirator tube. Is it difficult to install? And what other parts do i need for the set up?

    Great Vid as always, Can you do a LT vs ORX or H pipe discussion? We all know LT make more but how much compared to the ORX? Some say its not worth it to upgrade from the ORX to LT cause of the price vs the gains.

    Just wondering don't rip me appart as I'm not super in the know, but for boosted applications centri or turbo how do the stock boss gt350 and CJ manifold compare? And for nitrous? I would think a intake with a bigger body distributes the nitrous better then twisting around in the gt350 or stock style manifold but I am no expert just thought id ask looking to learn more.

    The VMP intake shootout is what sold me. It's the best bang for the buck and can be had ported at $550.00 to your door. Far cry from the $1800 CJ setup.

    Your literally the only one I trust for coyotes so what is your take on the holley efi. Essentially they used the cobra jet design for half the price. They claim decent numbers

    VMP put out a video on like 6 different manifolds for 15-17, 2018 Mustang gt intake makes good power all around, compared to gt350 manifold it didn’t do much worse. In fact I wanna say it made same peak hp and tq. Since you can pick 2018 manifold for $200-300 on classified, isn’t that the best dollar per performance mod?

    Can you make a detailed video about the mustang's gear ratios 3.15 vs 3.31 vs 3.55 vs 3.73. Also, which one is the best for racing, top speed, acceleration etc

      Mohammed Tag Elsir lower the numbers, more fuel efficient and higher top end speed numbers. Higher the numbers , faster acceleration off the line, lower top end, much lower gas. Racing only, I'd say 3.73 on a manual. Maybe 4.10 with fantastic driver and tires. But auto could handle 4.10 easier on the strip. Everyday driving is say 3.55 or 3.73. My '13 v6 has 3.31 and it's good for daily, but now and then I wish for 3.55 or 3.73.

      4.10's rock.. manual or auto... i have a manual with 4.10's.. i love it.. dont fear the gear.. and it doesnt hurt your mileage like many people state.. its great for in town driving.. helps a lot.. and its not bad on the highway either..

      I'll answer your question shorter gears more torque. long gears more top speed. Roll racing go with 3.31/3.55, drag racing go 3.73/4.10 makes you shift into 5th at the end of the strip. 3.73 is used at the race track not drag strip tho

      Mohammed Tag Elsir There's a big difference for A6 and M6. For A6, stock 3.15's are fine. All you need is a converter. I've seen too many guys remember the old auto trannys and toss gears at. Not much later they go back to 3.15's or 3.31's. Have to remember the stock A6 has a badass 4.17 1st gear. Compare that to a older 4r70w 2.84 gear. M6, 3.73's and I would call it good.

      I still say Boss if it's what you can only afford. The low end loss after tuning isn't that bad. Boss, cai, tune, 3400 stall and DR's, I still ran 11.9 at 117mph in 3300 DA. But since I'm pushing the envelope more, I do have a CJ. But AED is having a rough time tuning it. Says it's hardware. But points to the 67mm TB.

    Alex... what are your thoughts on the Boss 302 IM? I have it, and obviously the low end sucks (i got 4.10's to compensate).. all N/A..

      With prorper tuning you can get it back, but not as much as stock IM with the stock cams.

    Good stuff here! I bought a used, mildly ported CJ along with a Ford Racing monoblade. Being used I knew the TB was a properly working one; Shaun tuned it and the drivability is just as good as it was stock.

    Hey man I've caught a few your videos I don't know if you still work for The company that manufactures NGauge. I'm sorry this is an old video and writing you on this I have been sick in going through a whole lot. But I have 2013 Mustang GT and I want to get it down to the 11th or maybe even low 12s. But it is my everyday car it's got hurt and 50000 miles on it now I don't raggett matter fact I don't even know what it would do 0 to 60 or do any hole shots or anything. I do have the Gauge. But I got the tune with it stock it's got exhaust and I was gonna go with a factory 2019 intake. I don't know if I still get a free tune after since I haven't gotten any other than the ones they put on or do I have to pay for. My problem is it took me a long time and almost 40 to get my dream car. And it's been a long road for me and now I found out of got cancer. Again I don't know if I even want to do treatment if I don't make it then I just wasted money and time. But I don't have a whole lot of money and don't know what to do or where to even store everybody that has Mustangs that has a channel has money and they all tell you 30 things to do. On their channel but I just want to get down there is always wanted to own or seyah owned 11 2nd car or a low 12. Before I die And I may not be able to ever say that. Found out I am getting laid off Now as well so just keeps hitting me. I had a Gti with 600 horsepower that I had $20000 in building and 3 months later before I ever got to see what it would do I was ran off the road and totaled it. And insurance would give any money for all the aftermarket stuff and by the time they said they wasn't going to pay for the stuff they done crushed it. And before that me and wife was in a fatal car accident that was 3 days before Christmas. And I paid wifes car off for Christmas and I took full coverage off for the winter because she works close and to save money thur winter. And the month the insurance was changed we was in a fatal accident. And that lady we hit didn't have insurance. And it was her fault. So sorry for long message but if u know any cheaper ways to get me to my goal. Before I take off from here. Please let me know thanks.     Do you have an email that I could contact you at for questions regarding a 1990 5.0 coupe as well as questions about a stock 2014 GT that I want to start adding power to. It's an NA street car (2014 GT 6speed) with no add-ons that I want to start turning into a street/strip car and need advice on where to start. The 1990 has plenty of work but it's not tuned and that's what I need advice with when it comes to that car. please help.

    Hey Alejandro, I’ve heard that there is loss of torque under 4500 RPMs with the CJ setup? Is this true? If so how much torque loss is there? I’m thinking about adding a CJ set up on my 5.0 but skeptical if there’s any torque loss. Thanks

    Hi sir, I just got my Barton hybrid 3 flat stick shifter installed by a local mechanic yesterday for my 15 GT. But the shifter doesn't have a push down reverse lock out which makes it easy to miss shifter between 1st and reverse. But my mechanic insist that they followed the description and used all the parts. What should I do? According to Barton there's definitely a push down lock out. Thank you.

    Alejandro Flores I've heard that the CJ manifold is too tall for the stock S550 hood. Is that correct?

    darn it and i was saving up for a gt350 manifold lol . hey alex u know how much of a difference of hp does the cobra jet manifold does to the s550? tanx and awesome knowledge.🤣

      I don't know the exact hp difference, The GT350 does well.

      Blueboy 956 The 350 Mani is no push over. It's really good...and theirs less BS you have to deal with when installing. You don't need to lower the engine nor do you need a new hood.

    Why do you not like the boss 302 when it makes much more power at the top where I am Drag Racing revving the piss out of it. It is cost effective compared to getting a cj setup

    Stock, CJ or 350, all have benefits,350 don’t need to lower the engine, I had no idea that the cold air made a difference, if the air sensor is the same I can keep stock cold air box

      I have a '12 GT w/302 manifold + K&N throttle. Breathes so easy, you'd think she's stock. Try K&N or JLT for best fitment & results

    Hey Alex, completely off topic but I'm installing a new clutch/flywheel and T56 in my s197 (2008 GT). Do I do a crank relearn after install with SCTX4 to prevent misfire codes or only do crank relearn if I start having the codes pop up after installing? Thanks for the videos!

    What about for a daily driver? I barely drag mine like the guys you mentioning. I could care less about all those numbers. I just wanna be faster driving around the city and I want the power to be there when I do happen to cone across random street races.
