Absolutely brilliant video. Love the shock on your face from that acceleration. Hoping to get one soon, but at least I'll be able to use it above 70mph as I'm in the Isle of Man where there is loads of unrestricted roads. UPDATE - Mine hopefully arrives mid July 22.

Porsche are the pinnacle of a driving experience. I had the chance to drive a mid naughties 911 turbo. Hands down the best car I’ve ever driven

@@Toyota4Life Ariel atom, Nissan GT-R, Aston Martin vantage, Ferrari f430 spider, Porsche 911 turbo, abarth 500 running around 190hp, Mazda MX-5 (NB), Peugeot 207 and a Vauxhall vectra (biggest pile of turd ever). current daily driver is abarth 595 comp running 220hp with 265 ftlbs @4500 ish rpm. Been in a few vag stuff. Although fast very dull.

I drive this car, and Gforce at max acceleration should be around 1.3

Fantastic car Stef but no good for me as a pensioner!!! £180.000 would be difficult to find but I am so pleased you have found your best car ever, Arbarth might be working on one as we speak Ha Ha Ha. I suspect economy might be an issue but if you have 180 grand to spend you are not bothered and also insurance. Great video Stef as usual, loved it.

Great overview, but the problem for me is the performance is too much. It looks overwhelming. I’m not sure what you are supposed to do with it? You definitely can’t use it on the road. And if it’s for the track, there’s plenty of other cars you can buy that are better suited for the track (a manual GT3 for example). I would rather have a nice spec Targa 4S, more than fast enough, looks cool and is great for cruising about.
That's the evolution of any car: additional power to differentiate it from previous models. How much power is too much is really up to the individual; no doubt pointless if you don't have access to the Autobahn or occasional track days. And I don't see how the GT3 is any better for track use no matter what transmission.
@@Alby911 you don’t see how a manual GT3 which weighs less than a Turbo S, has a naturally aspirated engine (the only one left in the range) derived from the GT3 Cup, a car that has suspension and tyres designed for track (the front suspension arms are unique to the GT3 and) and so on…is not a better track car than a Turbo S? Ok.
@@rare6499 Fair enough, I just can't find any comparable track times for the two cars. Even if they're close the GT3 makes far more sense for track days.
The base C2S is great on its own and amazing value, up that that the 4S and enjoy the AWD. I understand the on road performance of the TTS is unobtainable but to know it has the ability to be a DD, track it, and do everything at the top of its class is what appeals to me. Cant got wrong with y of the models assuming somebody doesn’t go for the GT series expecting to make it a DD (not that anyone would do that...I’d hope not).
In a top of the line Porsche you get exotic car performance at about half the price. On high end auto's you can't beat their "bang for the buck." But, gorgeous? It's a 911.

Brutal eh 💥🤣 I would love another one but here in Oz it is now completely and utterly useless. Our speeding laws are so draconian this will end up being crushed along with your license. We are a land of SUV's and slow plonkers that are simply not into cars at all. 😞

When he did that launch from slow start to 60 and back down to 30 around what seemed like a bend. I counted 4 seconds and I'm sure I stopped the watch a second late. I think everyone should be given one of these at birth as a human right.

There's no such thing as too much performance. I'll make use of it on the road if no one else will. It's like buying a Wagyu steak and not eating it - what's the point in that?
