27suzukirider No! Any Rs model is gonna look much more aggressive and drive the same way. But what it lacks in rawness, gains in daily comfortability. Ideally I’d love drive a turbo Monday through Friday and Weeknd hop in a Gt. Haha I’ll keep dreaming. For now on weekend my Boxster Gts and daily a bmw 435i m sport.
Hung Le well you can complain about the boxster gts all you want, but I‘m also driving one and except if turbo is in cabriolet form it won’t beat the boxster for me. Thats the best driving feeling imo. Also I drive a stick shift gts which i couldn’t get on a turbo. I don’t think a turbo would be that much better in terms of pure daily driving.
So glad to see you back up and running. Definitely missed you!! You did a STELLAR job with this video by the way. That power on the highway was insane. MUSIC TO MY EARS!
Glad to be back! Somewhat behind the scenes. I have been driving a Hyundai Santa Fe for the past couple of weeks of recovery so this was a VERY welcome change:) Stay safe in Miami!
Finally! I was really excited about this Video since the Tech Review! The car in that color is just beautiful. Really nice shots. The best and detailed review of the car I have seen -and not even calculating the tech review in! Great to see MotoMan back in full shape!

@@edwill1595 :) I was expecting him to talk about it. This option should also come in full carbon at a later date and will make this car look even crazier.
@@mikeincognito ok, i just raised the question above. this is not a cheap option. the aerokit itself on the 911.2 costs $6700 or so. I think the Sport Design Package includes lightweight windows and a few other options
Welcome back MotoMan! I love all of your Porsche reviews. Beautiful car. Definitely a shame you couldn’t film it on a track to really put it through it’s paces but outstanding review as always.

@motormantv you mention the 992 Turbo S has the first application of 10-piston calipers in the Porsche world but that isn't correct. The Cayenne Turbo S had it first and even before it got face-lifted
PASM is its own option and not required to get the air suspension on the Cayenne, Panamera and Macan, PASM always means Porsche Active Suspension Management.
So it weighs the same as a C7 Z06, same engine output (roughly), but yields 10mph higher trap speed in the quarter mile. Not to mention, about 0.8 seconds quicker to the finish line. That's nuts.
Another great episode! You had me thinking of Bruce Wayne in The Dark Knight Rises at the start of this episode (the knee brace, haha). And what a car. Eagerly awaiting more.
Hemi Dave oh that’s terrible 😬 Thanks for reply, been wondering what happened and I seem to be the only person not to know ....did he post on social media or something?
question for motoman: this turbo S has an aerokit, (looks like the one on 991.2), part of a Sport package? but the Porsche car configurator does not include this option. Any idea what the deal is? is that an option that will be available at a later date? love the video, thanks
that aerokit should have been an option listed in your OPTIONS GAME because if you look at the car configurator, it does not include the same rear spoiler or the front side fins (or whatever you call them). Porsche?!!!!
@@MotoManTV I am thinking about buying two rolls royce Cullinan's (aspen edition) (No tail gate seats but compartments for my snowboarding gear). one for my house in los angels. I’m surprised that things like the doors aren’t an option on Porsches. Just about everything else that should be standard is. I absolutely love Porsches but they take optional equipment to ridiculous levels.
$3,490 for an exhaust! Damn. I can get a freaking beetle with that kind of cash, which is VW exclusive Manufaktur. Or to make things easier, a ford Taurus to whip it real hard and get me to McDonalds drive thru. I hope you guys don't take it serious, nice car, i love Porsche:)

O.K. but why have Paddles and you just select drive. I feel Porsche should put the Manual back in this model anyway and make them pay for the optional PDK. Why I have really no interest in this model.
The shape of the 911 is so stunningly beautiful. From every angle. Man, I wish I had the money for it
Florian Haffner I know what you mean. It only feels worse when you own a lower model (2016 Boxster Gts) Porsche and want more :(

Sweet car. But where's the stick? To shift.
Labelling all the options 'exclusive' and add a zero to the price. Smart.
Great video on my favorite car, and thanks for exposing those ridiculous commission add-ons dealers pass off as options
its not the dealers doing this. Its all Porsche.
Hi motorman. Looking at the new 992 turbo S . Do the ceramic brakes squeal ?
Not in the least but keep in mind, no track time . . . yet.
I know all bets are off re track time. I would be interested to hear How it handles. Which track do you use for reviews ?
axe lift system should not be GPS based, but rather speed based, under 30mph the lift system should automatically rise.
Lovely car 🚗 that will be my next car own Audi A8

Absolutely

Awesome machine but the sound just doesn’t do it for me. My 981 Boxster S with Porsche Sports Exhaust sounds about as good as it gets.
Complaining about the price? What do you want it to cost? 50k? Its 4 times the car.

Your comment means a lot!
i remember ten years ago turbo s used to be 150k new.
Inflation. One of the basic economic term. Look it up.
cooleks no i disagree. Even with cumulative inflation the price should be around 180K
Yeah and 10 years ago it was a completely different car with much less technology.
I think porsche need to come up with a totally new 911 turbo something that Is just different from all the other 911s
This is beautiful
