  • We recently took the next generation 2023 Ford Everest Ttianium 4x4 and the Ford Ranger Wildtrak 4x4 on a 3-day media drive to Zambales. We drove it off-road, on the highway, we tested its safety features to confirm if it really is the best pick up platform in the Philippines today.

    It's the same 10 speed as the previous model, as stated, 'you have addressed this in some of your older vehicles'. For many years Ford have known that this transmission has problems. If the 'problems have been identified' it was identified years ago and was addressed years ago. Why then is Ford still recalling Rangers with this problem 10 speed transmission?

    • @Dffffxzx
      @Dffffxzx ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol, transmission problems were addressed. Did you even think that those rangers you said being recalled might have outdated tranmissions? Having recalled with outdated (not tweaked) car and having recalled with next gen car are different.

    lane keep assist is a dangerous feature for Philippine market since most of the drivers on the opposite direction always try to overtake and get into your lane, and if your car will keep you in your lane expect a collision.

    my first time to own a ranger, or a pick-up per se but is it normal to have very slight vibration which you'll feel through the steering wheel even when idle? i'm assuming its normal for a truck as compared to a sedan which I used to drive before because it has bigger engine. TIA

    • @ErnestMarvinEsteban
      @ErnestMarvinEsteban ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s normal for a truck since it uses a diesel engine which has a lot more vibration than gasoline engines.

      @@ricsegreto4107 well there were a series of reports before about the 10 speed in the ranger raptors, the one paired with the bi-turbo Ecoblue engine, encountering some serious problems, with some malfunctioning while the car is driven on the highway. This was a trend that persisted in some batches of ranger raptors and has been acknowledged by some car reviewers in the Philippines. This is the primary reason why I no longer opted for the Everest.
