2024 Ford Everest Long Term Review: Being Honest, Open and Vulnerable...

- I gave my long-term 2024 Ford Everest to the person closest to me...
... and that, is my Fiance - Monique. Monique has been working in Australia's outback for the last 3 months for her work, and during that time I wanted to put her into something I thought would be ideal for very long-distance. For me and her, safety, driveability - including on-road and off-road - and reliability were the most important aspects.
And there is a lot of competition in this class, from the Toyota Fortuner, to the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Isuzu M-UX, Mahindra Scorpio, and so many more Ute-based offroad family SUVs.
So, after 3 months, what is the long-term verdict on the Ford Everest? Let's talk about that in today's review!

My 2017 Everest isn't as nice as this one but it's been all over Australia and reaching 200k on the OD it's still going strong with zero issues
That's valuable information mate, thank you.
Sad news I've heard today😢. Daddy Jacob ain't your daddy😢
Had my next-gen Everest Sport V6 for about 2,000km so far and I am OBSESSED with it.
Absolutely agree that it’s got some of that “ruggedness” that comes with a body-on-frame vehicle, but I actually like that.
Can 100% recommend.
I love that you have done a car that is being used and suitable in/for rural Victoria!
I’ve owned a V6 Sport for just over 1 year, and I gotta say it’s been awesome. Wife thinks so too. Super comfortable, quiet as, and pretty good fun to drive. I highly recommend the V6 to everyone that asks me about the car.
Fantastic video as always, never fails to keep me glued to the video
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@CarSauce @CarSauce Could you make a video that basically summarises the cars of. Let's say 2024 and which is the best for like which is best for sport, practical or fun like that
Another great honest review thank you!
Are any indicators in the Everest range LED? Thanks
Matt: “I love every car, see the value in every car (except the Fortuner 😉)” 🤣
The Trend you have has a the premium seat pack as an option if you have the heated/cooled seats and also the drover/passenger power adjustments with memory. Just letting you know if you are ordering one.
Awesome video as always!! Where do you even get these cars?
The manufacturers themselves
Also, when you wrapped it all up, you said if you want something cheaper you can look at the Pajero Sport, which is not true, you could also consider the 5 seater Everest Ambiente 4WD.
Will be good to see how the Tank 500 stacks up against the Everest. The first time I heard of your engagement so congrats Matt.
Great video as always.👍
Based on your recent review of the Tank 500, slightly cheaper driveway, which would you choose for your partner if these were the only options? Add the V-6 to make it arguably better.
The way the engine freely rattles and the visible spaces between interior plastic parts speaks volumes about the quality of this fairly new car.
Can you do one for LDV D90
Fuel consumption comparison of the 4cyl v 6cyl should be checked.
Hwy avg of 8.4 is achievable in the v6 quite easily.
Any plans for a turbo diesel?
Other manufacturers really need to raise their game.
The Tank 500 spanks their sorry arses.
Great review by the way 👍🏻
really wish they could bring this to the us to replace it with the edge (endura). but they probably won't, but at least we get the new ranger
This is the SUV to buy, danko😊
Waiting for launch in India
2:00 is the V6 twin turbo ??
Yeah because we were talking about it 🫡
I'm sure I read it's only a single not twin
Oh I see, yes that’s a mistake - it’s a single turbo
Pretty sure the V6 Diesel is a Single turbo not a Twin turbo,
Would have put my partner in a Isuzu just because I know it would have started 100% of the time if there was a fire but you know .. each to their own glad it worked out well
Everest FTW
100%
A good hearty robust capable reliable safe car is far better than the bling
I do find the seven seater you'll never have enough room in the back they need to extend the body of a seven-seater to back boot in a 7-seater once you have the seven seats up you could say is non-existent a longer body would suit 7-seaters better like a 6 store pickup
Mux any day❤
😴
Is it reliable?
Yes
Yeah mate will definitely last “long term” 3 months like this one.
Idk i have had a few for years now !
Fiancée was not Daddy Jacob?
T for tuff.
Jacob is heart-broken!
Jacob is more of a dad then a lover if you know what I mean
Good to know it can drive through ash.
I think we all are @@roh5876
I noticed that Jacob was very quiet in this video. Silent treatment?
Nah I just ate him
@@CarSauce and now he's having a nap? Fair enough.
🤑 YOU SAID YOU COULD NOT AFFORD A HYANDAI I120N 🤑🤑
So this is luka doing even NBA season is still ongoing? Hmmm
Trend is base model and starts at $75k NZD.
A REAL GIRLFRIEND?
Dribble on a bit
Drag race with v6
Jeep Grand Cherokee trailhawk should have been a contender
Drag with range Rover sports .
It has one problem - it is way too big.
What a nice job that you can give your chick a new car every couple of months
Thai built. Ummm. Nah
The same car is being sold 40k aud in china
The first 3 minutes of the video is really wasting my time.
Surprised you didn’t have any problems.
